Having visited PLR since 2015, we have met some truly wonderful people at this fantastic hotel. PLR continues to maintain the exceptionally high standards that have contributed to its success and that guests have come to expect. I have written positive reviews about this hotel in the past and will continue to do so. If you are reading the countless reviews from first-time visitors and returning guests alike, save yourself some time... just book! You will not be disappointed. The management and staff are excellent and go above and beyond to ensure that every guest has the opportunity to create lasting memories. We usually visit in July to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and I have occasionally been known to forget the anniversary card. This year, however, I brought some extra cards for future visits because I know without a doubt that we will keep returning. Keep them safe, Magda!

Just got back from our 2nd visit such a lovely holiday As others have referenced the staff and attention to detail is outstanding, nothing is to much trouble. Special mentions to say Thankyou to Carlos Nabil at the pool bar for looking after us all day, so friendly and always smiling. 😁 Our room was superb having upgraded to the premier suite as special birthday treat, special mentions to Mohamed for keeping our room clean & tidy 😁 The food choice is amazing in all restaurants, but a special Thankyou to the egg chef the omelettes are fabulous. Thankyou Max who is very talented and made a special Ruby & Diamond ring 💍 for our Ruby anniversary The incredible Mr Fouquet resident manager who seems to work 24/7 what an amazing team and hotel you have 😁 Thankyou to everyone that made our holiday very special We will definitely be back 🍹🌞

5th visit to this exceptional hotel that thrives on the basis that it is a real home from home. Firstly the hotel is appropriatly sized, allowing guests to feel that there is space and not feel compressed by to many people. The site is set off a long promenade which is great to walk and very safe. The beach has a reef which is well protected by staff so please don't walk on it. The buildings and gardens are continually well maintained and any issues raised are quickly addressed by staff. Food choice in the main restaurant is extensive and quality , catering for nearly everyone including specific gluten free stations, is constantly monitored and replaced. The al la carte restuarants are a nice alternative and service personal choice The overwhelming positive of the hotel is its staff from the manager through to the gardeners they are friendly, providing exceptional service with cheerful manner. Entertainment is low key compared to many hotels but is professional and enjoyable. The spa is professional and reasonably priced if your willing to barter. The gym is well equipped and maintained and Salah the personal trainer will put you through your paces in a professional and friendly manner. In conclusion this is a relaxing pleasant holiday location with exceptional staff, great food which draws you back repeatedly.

Another return trip to the PLR, sadly only 10 days this time round. No great surprises as this hotel remains the best we regularly try and visit every year. Staff, hospitality, cleanliness, restaurants all at their usual top standard and fit in with the totally relaxing time we look for. Met five other couples we have seen there on past visits at different times, showing its popularity with many. All the staff greet you like family and really welcome. New idea this was a barbecue by the beach - we were expecting burgers, sausages and salads - we got a red carpet, white tablecloths, proper cutlery, waiter service and a food selection difficult to better. On this occasion I had the misfortune to injure my arm, entirely my fault. The Doctor and Senior Nurse at the onsite 24/7 Clinic cleaned it, put in some stitches, put me on an antibiotic IV drip and changed dressings daily. Stitches removed on last day - all on site, no hospital visits. If only I got this sort of service at home. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, put these aside at the PLR.

What can I say, This hotel stands above any other hotel we have ever visited in Egypt, the warmth and friendly staff work so hard day and night and nothing is too much for them, we booked a junior VIP suite and was so lucky to be upgraded to a massive jacuzzi suite with pool and sea view, our room was kept spotless and we couldn’t fault our two different cleaners, a special mention to our favourite waiter Mohamed in the main buffet restaurant, extremely caring and always welcomed us with the great smile, morning and evening, reception staff were brilliant and caring, We have just booked our second stay at this beautiful hotel for next August, we can’t wait, thanks to all of you for making our stay so fantastic xx
