Sheraton Miramar Resort

Everything food, rooms, service, and cleanliness was amazing. Location is very distinct, with amazing scenery. Basmala always met us with a smile upon breakfast, the day starts great.

This is a beautiful, beautiful resort in more ways than one. It's visually beautiful, functionally beautiful and also the people that make it tick are amazing and we will miss them. From the moment you step foot in the entrance hall, you see the work of a master architect. What I appreciated the most about the common areas such as the lobby, the bar and the outside areas is the fact that, although designed to be grand, it felt cozy and invited you to hang out there. The rooms are all freshly renovated and have a stunning view (we were in the 8000 rooms and has a sunrise view over the lagoon). The food at the Miramar Restaurant- I miss it already. Delicious and aesthetically presented. The desserts are exquisit. We had a small cake made for our wedding anniversary and I can say without doubt that it was the best cake I ever tried. The main pool, kids' pools, spa center is currently closed for renovation until Dec 2026. I was worried this would be disruptive, but it was not. During the three weeks we were there, maybe twice or thrice while walking outside I heard some construction work in the distance. It was possible to use the pools of the other 5 start resorts in El Gouna for free, with free transfers multiple times per day. However, we just went to the beaches, since we like the beach more anyway. Some things that could be improved: the wifi coverage and quality is okay, but not great. Also there were many activities offered or planned every day (fitness classes, board games, mixology classes, darts, boccia etc etc), however very few were actually happening, because barely anyone went to them, I don't know why. We went to a mixology class and were the only people there (it was still so cool, thank you Ahmed!). Other time I asked about Aqua Fit at the beach and they said they could absolutely call someone to do it for us. But again, we were the only people asking. So we also stopped going to the activities. I guess this is not the hotel's fault, but maybe you can do more to encourage people to participate, which would be fun for everyone. I guess I could write much more about the things we loved at Sheraton, but the review would be too long. Special thanks to our dear friend Mohammed Abdel Latif, our waiters El Sayed, Mosaad, Ahmed Aswany, Mostafa, Joseph and the whole team, our hostesses Basmala and Salma and the funniest chef with the biggest heart and the best food, Refaat!

Excellent location, a huge resort with a lot of variable vegetation (one drawback would be the absence of green grass areas), extremely kind and willing personnel (especially the 2 girls Basmala and Salma that welcome you at the entrance of the main restaurant), diverse and enough food, spacious and very clean rooms (with the help of some very good auxiliary staff like Mohamed) with nice, tradiotional furniture. In one word, a relaxation place which for sure you'll come back with pleasure!

★★★★★ A wonderful mother-daughter escape We chose the Sheraton Miramar in El Gouna for a very special reason: we came for a mother-daughter holiday, just the two of us, to slow down, enjoy each other’s company and have some well-deserved peace and quiet. And honestly, the resort could not have been a better choice. The location is absolutely beautiful, the entire resort is incredibly well cared for, and you can see that there is a continuous commitment to maintaining and improving the hotel. We particularly appreciated seeing the ongoing renovation of the rooms. What made our stay truly special, though, was the genuine warmth and service of the staff. Our every wish was met, without ever feeling intrusive or pushy. Everyone was friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful. A very special thank you to the kitchen and restaurant staff, the housekeeping and maintenance teams, the beach boys and the lifeguards. They all contributed to making our holiday feel so effortless and relaxing. And the food was simply exceptionally delicious. Every meal was something we genuinely looked forward to. The resort itself feels like pure luxury, but in a relaxed and welcoming way. For us, it was the perfect setting to disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with each other. We came hoping for peace, quality time together and a little bit of pampering — and we got all of that, and more. Thank you to the entire Sheraton Miramar team for giving us such a beautiful mother-daughter memory. We will definitely be back. ❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful honeymoon at Sheraton Miramar El Gouna, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. The atmosphere, weather, and breathtaking views made our stay even more special. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I would especially like to mention a few people who made our experience even better: Mai at the Front Desk was extremely helpful and kind. She helped us move to a higher-floor room and even surprised us with a lovely cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. Gerges from Room Service was very respectful, friendly, and always willing to help. Captain Ibrahim at the Gym was always smiling, welcoming, and ready to assist whenever needed. Refka at the breakfast buffet very responsive and super friendly But the real star of our stay was Mr. Ali, the Beach Restaurant Manager. He was exceptionally professional, kind, and genuinely caring. His hospitality and the way he treated us made us feel truly special and welcomed. He is a great asset to the hotel and honestly deserves the biggest opportunities and highest positions. A huge thank you to the entire Sheraton Miramar team for making our honeymoon such a beautiful and memorable experience. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back again! ❤️
