Sindbad Club

Late night landing. Arrived at hotel, reception staff helpful and welcoming. We booked the family suite. On arrival to the room we only had q bathroom. Husband went to reception and was told to come back at 12 next day. Went back at 12 to be told to go back at 1pm. Went back at 1pm to be told come back next day. Went back next day to be told we have the family suite and that we could not be moved. Sick of living out of suitcases we unpacked. Went to the beach, which is lovely. Husband went back to room as was unwell. A member of staff asked if myself and my daughter could move down so they could use my husbands sunbed and place another one there. No problem. The issue was my 14 year old daughter was then getting blown cigarette smoke at her as both these people smoked. We were on the beach for a good few hours and were asked once if we wanted a drink. I understand they are busy so myself an my daughter made our way to the bar. We were stopped by a member of staff at the bar and asked what drinks we wanted. Gave him my order and he said he would bring the to the sun bed. Not a problem. 20 minutes passed and he brought the drinks but only brought 1 drink that was ordered, he said he would bring the other one. 10 minutes later that one arrived. Husband came back to the beach, obviously his sun bed was gone as he left, his fault for leaving. My daughter told her Dad about the smoke going in her face and I told him about my attempt to go to the bar for drinks and how long it had taken. Someone approached my husband and my husband told them about the issues. We were them swamped with staff which we told them we were going for something to eat, they all followed. Even when eating they kept coming back. Anyway, the manager at the beach was lovely and we told him what happened and he was really apologetic. After that we went to the seating area out into the sea, was lovely. I decided to leave a review on here and gave 1 rating due to the experience we had, as we were only 2 days in. We went back to our room and my husband contacted easy jet and informed them about the room, and there were also issues with the room. My daughter has sensory issues and doesn't shower but has a bath which is why we booked the family suite. We only had a shower in the room. Within the hour the room phone rang and a lady asked us to go look at another room. Went to look and it was the 2 bathroom which is what we thought we booked. Cases packed and moved rooms. We were unaware at this point that there are family suites with only 1 bathroom. Images on easyjet website show a bath, that was what we paid for. The next day my husband is called to the managers office where there were 4 managers waiting for him. The manager kept telling my husband that we did not specify that we wanted 2 bathrooms, my husband showed them the images on easyjet website which showed a bath and stated that we did not realise there were 2 different types of family suite. After that the staff were amazing and went out of their way to help. Always made sure we had drinks etc. One of the animation team came and asked what was wrong with the hotel and staff. I said there is no issue, there was an issue with the room but it is now sorted. Next day he came and told me that the managers were running round after us to make sure we were happy due to the review I left on here. I told him I would take it down which I did. From then on the staff have been really helpful and friendly. Massive thank you to Ibi and Ahmed round the quiet pool. Amazing guys and work so hard. Also massive thanks to all the managers we met who ensured we were looked after. We did not want that, just wanted the room we paid for, but appreciate it all the same. I believe easyjet have since sent emails out regarding the 1 and 2 bathroom suites. We jad already booked to go back next year but now we know what's what we are hoping for a better start. The staff work hard and are amazing. The al a carte restaurants are really nice. The Gusto restaurant was very chaotic and my daughter could not cope. Botanica was more laid back but less choice, which my daughter found hard as she only eats beige food. Myself and husband tried various foods and it was all really nice. We ate our a few times. Moon 2, Retro, McDonalds, and Chilis at Senzo Mall. The portions there are massive! We met Diana the Pelican. Location is great as there is lots around the hotel. Evening entertainment was thorougjly enjoyable. Different things on each night, was amazing, felt like iI was at a full on show. Shame the entertainment finishes at 10pm and the room closes. Retro nar is open till late if you want to stay out past 10pm and its only a 10 minute walk away. Overall, we can't wait to go back next year. THANK YOU sindbad Club.

Our 11 time hear still the same memories as the 1 st time lovely place all the staff are so warm and friendly can’t do enough for you food is always plentiful and so much variety we will be coming back for our anniversary next year

Lovely hotel , great staff , delicious food in main restaurant. we only tried the Italian restaurant but went a few times it was that nice . Slides and pools great for our children .entertainment area is too hot for us but the animation team are always around doing stuff during the day too. Whilst we did come home with little tummy troubles could of been from anything heat, other guests pools etc it didnt put us off we are booked for next year .

Hello I would like to make a complaint about a holiday in Hurghada at the Sindbad Club Hotel,on the 7th of September or even the 8th because we were accommodated after 00:00. When we entered the hotel reception to accommodate us the receptionist took away our passports and the accommodation procedure itself took about an hour,when we got our room access card it turned out that the room was very different from what I had paid for,I had paid for a deluxe room and received an economy room to put it mildly and even a staff room. The light in the room did not work, the walls were dirty, the bed was sunken and dirty, the air conditioning was dirty and there was a fungus, the light in the bathroom did not work. The lock on the door (latch) was broken and the electric lock on the door did not work as it should because you had to hit the door with your hand to get it to open. We were given a gas cooker in this room for unknown reason which was terribly dirty I don't even know what to call it,it was just disgusting. I immediately went back to reception to change the room then I was told that there was overbooking in the room and physically there was nowhere to accommodate us so I went back to the room and spent the night there (I have bronchial asthma and I have documents for this so this room endangered my health). And also the door from the balcony could not be closed which was dangerous The gentleman/ lady on the Tui app after reviewing my situation wrote that the hotel had informed Tui that we had been accommodated in a Deluxe room which is a simple lie and fraud. The next day at 7 a.m. I went to reception and threatened to talk to the hotel manager and also call the tourist police, at the same time the gentleman at the reception became pale and said that at 1 p.m. I will get my room, fortunately it happened, but it does not change the fact that I demand compensation and refund for the fact that I had to sleep in such conditions and the hotel did not give a damn about me all night. I have attached photos showing the conditions in which I had to stay with my fiancée.

This was our second time at Sinbad Club. Again the stay was very pleasant. Nice staff, the food was very delicious and various. For our 35 years of marriage I let the hotel arrange a nice romantic dinner. Everything was delicious. The room was great and clean, thanks to Mohammed Saad. Every day clean towels for the room and swimming pool. Thanks Mohammed, much appreciated.
