Sindbad Club

Review after two days – late October - 3120 & 5007 We arrived at around 10:30 pm, and there was still a small selection of food available from 11 pm onwards. This was a really nice touch and more than satisfactory, especially considering that many hotels wouldn’t offer anything at that time. So far, we’ve been extremely impressed with Sindbad Club Hotel. I’m travelling with my wife, father-in-law and our three girls, aged 17, 7 and 5, and everyone has been thoroughly enjoying their stay. Food and drink The food selection throughout the day is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The all-you-can-eat restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner have been fantastic in my opinion. It can get a little busy at certain times, but this is a huge hotel, so that’s understandable. We particularly enjoyed the Lebanese restaurant. It’s a walk-in, take-a-seat arrangement with a smaller menu, but the food is beautifully cooked, especially the meats, which come with a choice of rice or chips. Starters are served, and the waiters are always on hand to keep the drinks flowing. The staff were friendly, funny and attentive, even making a fuss of our younger girls by giving them balloons and making them feel welcome. The Italian restaurant was equally enjoyable, with delicious food and similarly good service. I would say the food here is particularly suited to people who enjoy trying different cuisines, but we’ve found everything we’ve eaten to be very well prepared. The drinks and alcohol selection is more than adequate, and the food and drinks available at the beach are just as good as those at the hotel. Staff and service One of the biggest positives so far has been the staff. Everyone we’ve encountered has been friendly, helpful and accommodating, from reception to the restaurant teams, cleaners and pool staff. Our bags were carried to our room on arrival, and the cleaners have been making the beds and keeping the room clean every day. The pool and beach staff are also happy to help you find sun loungers for your family. Another thing I’ve appreciated is that there doesn’t seem to be an expectation to tip every time someone provides a service. Having stayed in places where it can sometimes feel that way, it’s refreshing to feel that the staff are genuinely happy to help. Pools, water park and beach The pools are a good size, and the water park is brilliant, particularly for the children. The water can feel a little cold first thing in the morning, but that certainly hasn’t stopped our girls from enjoying themselves! There are lifeguards positioned where needed, which is reassuring when travelling with younger children. We’ve had no trouble finding sun loungers so far, although I can imagine this could become more difficult during particularly busy periods. Beach towels are provided in the room for use around the complex, and you can take them to the beach too. The beach itself is only a few minutes’ walk away, with plenty of access points, and the staff are just as helpful when it comes to finding loungers there. The sea can feel a little chilly when you first get in, but once you’re in, it’s lovely. There are also plenty of fish to see if you enjoy snorkelling. Rooms and hotel grounds We’re staying in a superior family room, which is spacious, clean and very nice overall. The beds are a little on the firm side, but we’ve found them comfortable. The grounds are attractive and well maintained, and the hotel is easy to navigate from where our room is situated. In the evenings, the hotel really comes alive, with plenty of people mingling and enjoying themselves. The entertainment we’ve seen so far has been good, and there’s a huge seating area where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. There’s also a library if you fancy somewhere quieter, as well as somewhere to watch the football when it’s on. Location, weather and shopping The weather at the end of October has been fantastic, with temperatures in the high 20s. It’s been perfect for enjoying the pools, beach and everything else the hotel has to offer. There are excursions available through the hotel, but personally, I prefer using GetYourGuide, as I’ve found it cheaper. There are shops outside the hotel selling all sorts of goods, including counterfeit designer-style items. Cigarettes are very cheap compared with UK prices, and there may be room to negotiate if buying several packs. One tip for anyone staying here: bottled water is very inexpensive at Spinneys, so it’s worth stocking up there rather than paying the higher prices at some of the other shops. I’ve also drunk the water provided in our room and have been absolutely fine so far, although experiences can vary, and bottled water is the safer choice if you’re unsure. Overall verdict I genuinely can’t fault the hotel or the staff based on our experience so far. All six of us have been impressed, and there’s something here for everyone, whether you want to relax by the pool, enjoy the beach, try different foods or keep the children entertained. I appreciate that some people may have had different experiences, perhaps during busier periods or because their expectations were different. However, based on our stay so far, we’ve had a fantastic time and would definitely consider returning. Thank you, Sindbad Club Hotel! We’re looking forward to enjoying the rest of our holiday. 😊

Amazing hotel! We spent here 7 nights. Prefect service, clean rooms, big variety of food in the restaurant. Location is great, the beach located just across the street. Around the hotel much stores , souvenirs shops and supermarkets. We would like to definitely come back here and experience again this beautiful place. My husband and I recently returned from a fantastic holiday in Hurghada, where we stayed at the Sindbad Club, and I felt compelled to share our experience. When we were choosing our hotel, we wanted a location that combined a lively atmosphere, comfortable amenities, convenient access to the beach, and good food. Sindbad Club checked every single box for us, and it truly exceeded our expectations in many ways. From the second we stepped into the bright, modern lobby, the warm hospitality was evident. Check-in was smooth, and the reception team gave us a genuine, friendly welcome. Our room was wonderfully clean, bright, and spacious, featuring a lovely private balcony where my husband and I enjoyed sitting in the evenings to catch the cool breeze coming off the Red Sea. The housekeepers worked tirelessly every morning; our towels were refreshed daily, and they frequently left charming towel art on our bed, which brought a smile to our faces every afternoon. The property itself is beautifully laid out. One of the main reasons we chose Sindbad Club was its fantastic location along the vibrant El-Mamsha promenade, which was ideal for our casual evening walks. The hotel grounds feature immaculate tropical palm trees, sparkling swimming pools, and a huge aqua park with thrilling slides that made us feel like kids again! Access to the private sandy beach was very straightforward—just a brief, pleasant stroll across the promenade where we always found comfortable sun loungers and peaceful spots near the beach bars to sip cold drinks under the sun. Dining at the resort was another highlights of our trip. The main buffet restaurant provided a vast selection of global and Egyptian dishes, with live cooking stations preparing grilled meats, pasta, and freshly baked flatbreads. We also tried the à la carte restaurants on site—the Italian pizza and pasta options were surprisingly delicious! Everything was well-prepared, fresh, and abundant. While we loved spending lazy days by the pool and at the beach, we also wanted to explore Egypt’s ancient history and natural beauty. Early in our planning, we realized that booking tours through hotel tour operators can be quite pricey. Luckily, while researching online, we kept seeing glowing recommendations for a local agency called Sheriff Egypt. You can easily search for them by name on the internet to view their full catalog and read reviews. Their prices turned out to be significantly lower than what the hotel guides were asking for identical itineraries, so we booked directly with them online before our trips. Our absolute favorite highlight was the tour to Luxor. We opted for their small mini-group option, which was strictly capped at just 8 people. This made a world of difference! We were picked up right outside Sindbad Club early in the morning in a brand-new, spotless 2026 model minibus that was incredibly comfortable, smooth, and well-air-conditioned. Our guide spoke fluent, impeccable English and possessed an extraordinary depth of knowledge regarding ancient Egyptian history. Because the group was so small, we never felt rushed through Karnak Temple or the Valley of the Kings, and our guide answered all our personal questions in detail. It felt like a completely personalized private tour experience! On another day, we booked the Super Safari desert adventure through them. It was pure adrenaline and fun! We rode quad bikes across the desert dunes, took camel rides, and ended the late afternoon at a traditional Bedouin camp where we were treated to a delicious open-air barbecue dinner under the starry night sky. The sunset over the desert mountains was breathtaking. Overall, our stay at Sindbad Club offered the perfect blend of resort relaxation and thrilling adventure. The staff were always attentive, the resort facilities were top-notch, and exploring the wonders of Egypt made our getaway truly magical. If you are planning a trip to Hurghada, we definitely recommend staying at Sindbad Club and arranging your desert and historical trips independently for a smoother, much more authentic experience. We are already dreaming about our next trip back!

I spent four days here and had a wonderful, comfortable stay. I loved how clean everything was, and the food was excellent, with a great variety of options every day. The staff were also very polite and friendly The location is fantastic, with plenty of shops nearby. Although the hotel is family-friendly, I never felt disturbed by the children, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area. Highly recommended!

This was our 5th visit to Sindbad Hotel and once again it did not dissapoint. Great location as its on Mashma which has restaurants and shopping just outside. The hotel itself is Immaculate, the whole staff team, gardeners, lifeguards, bar staff, restaurant teams , reception , guest relations , entertainment team, cleaners snd managers , make this hotel as good as it is as they cannot do enough for you, nothing is ever too much trouble, they are friendly , respectful and love to have banter with you. We stayed in the wellness room with jacuzzi, room is the same as all rooms but you get a lovely outside space with table and chairs, decking area with sunlounger, a sunken jacuzzi and a bali bed. Mini bar in the room , you just have to ask for refreshments and they will provide them for you, been British we like our cuppas and upon request milk was given in a small carton as often as requested. Beach towels can be changed daily, just ask the cleaner. Food , plenty of choice in the buffet restaurants , Botanica is the smaller one on the aqua park side and Gusto is the larger buffet on the quiet pool side. Different theme every night for 7 days and then repeats. Food was delicious and well presented , served with smiles. The chef even comes out and speaks with you which is a lovely touch. Al a cartes , there are three to go to , you can make a reservation on the tv screens beside the reception for the Italian and Asian, the Lebanese is walk ins. They have a couple of sittings usually 6.30pm and 8pm and close for 9.30pm. The food in all the restaurants was brilliant ,all very friendly staff and provided us with great service, banter a good few laughs , nothing is too much trouble for them. Pools , activity pool is on the waterpark side and entertainment team provide activities throughout the day and a different show every night. Again very friendly and love you to get involved. They dont always tell you times of activities so make sure you read what's on the poster or just ask. Bar staff , these guys are amazing , they walk up and down serving with a smile all day and night long. We visited every bar during our stay and everyone was as good as the other, great drinks, great service, great attitudes and plenty of laughter. Beach is beautiful, about a 5 min walk out the back of the hotel across the road and cut through Serry hotel. Building works are in progress at the Serry but didnt bother us as they have been building for the last 3 years we have been going and its looking pretty amazing. Serry it out of our price range but looks fantastic. Plenty of sunbeds at the beach with really thick mattresses that are so comfy. Beach service is available for drinks and there is also a buffet open from 12-5pm for snacks such as burgers,chips, salad, veg and meats and not forgetting the freshly made pizzas which are amazing. Overall this hotel never fails to dissapoint us and we will be returning once again ! Thank you Sindbad you have an amazing Team of workers .
