SRNTY Sea Reef

We returned to this hotel for a 3rd time. For the fantastic food! Room onto swim up bar. Lovely beach with snorkeling and the amazing friendly staff! Nothing is too much trouble from reception staff to life guards! Caram at the adult swim up was very friendly as we're all other staff we had the pleasure to meet. But we honestly returned again due to the animation team! Brilliant fun people who gave every event their all! Miley, Katlyn, Steven, Adelina, joli, Zoe, Zia, Googa. These people made our holiday!

Having been fortunate to travel to some special parts of the world, and having stayed at some real luxurious resorts allows me to give this an honest review. Is it a five star resort, I would say no but definitely a good four star. Arrived late at night for our 10 night stay and was given a very warm welcome, welcome drink on arrival, promptly checked in and was given upgraded rooms we had requested via email prior to arrival, C2 block over looking the pool with a view of the sea. Map given and resort explained/amenities by a very helpful and friendly front desk operator. Muhammoud the bell boy took our luggage and showed us to the room, Muhammoud proved very helpful when needed throughout our stay, always found at the entrance to reception, he couldn’t do any more to help. Very friendly and happy guy ! Hotel pools and grounds including beach well maintained, clean and tidy. The beach has its own jetty that leads to its own coral reef, which was brilliant, previously we have have done snorkelling in the Maldives and whilst comparing and contrasting to that this in my opinion has similar wow factor. (Under the water) we see Barracuda, turtles, puffer fish, Moray Eels and hundreds of other type of fish. Dive centre very good, beach bar very good, little beach hut shops and bar snacks good, Pizza, hot dog, burgers, chicken strips chips and salads etc… ice cream at the beach bar also. Pools plenty to choose from and no sun bed wars always beds available bearing in mind this was end of August beginning of September. Plenty of sun beds available on the beach also with cabanas to hire if you want the extra luxury (fee to pay) Plenty of bars and 3 swim up bars where the service and quality of drinks are as expected, these guys work extremely hard in providing a quick service. Drink choice plenty to go for, alcohol and soft drinks including a good choice of cocktails and non alcoholic cocktails. Lobby bar also very good showing sports on the TVs inside. Pool table etc available to use upstairs from reception. Hotel rooms, big clean and to an acceptable standard. Room boy done a great job in maintaining the room. Food in the main restaurant and the bay watch restaurant provided very good variety, Baywatch less choice but has some lovely views of the sea and only available to AI plus guests. The BBQ area was brilliant serving steak, chicken, beef wellington,and even Turkey on specific days, but always lovely fresh meat and fish available from the BBQ area, just outside the main restaurant, let your nose guide you. Al a carte was a pain to book and a pain to have to pre order your food, because of this we only booked once, the Mexican, was very nice, we also tried the Brazilian again very nice. We ate at the Marina twice which was also very good food and cheap, the steak was top notch. All in all lovely clean resort with good food choice and good choice of drinks. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Evening entertainment we can’t comment as never went to any but plenty of shows and plenty of music playing at various places around d the the resort including the sister hotel a short walk away, that also has fair ground rides and a big water park, again never used this.

It was one of the utomst bizarre situation I've ever face in my 22 years of travelling across the globe Firstly and to be honest, the hotel itself isn't bad ... it's a bit above average Rooms: had some plumbing and joinery and air conditioning issues but spacious to be fair Food: many options, not very great tasty food and not bad also Let's go to the very awkward situation i faced at the CHECK IN Serving people and reception are very judgemental on class based nature (if you are Egyptian or speaking arabic, u will be treated as a lower class than the blond white European class). In simple term, this is discrimination and racist in my view. With no any legal or contractual basis, they refused entry of my family (brother, mother and sister) claiming that they didn't book from the UK, as i booked for my family from abroad, but there was no whatsoever any condition in the T&C's stating Egyptian nationality should pay more than the other nationality. They will say it's not about nationality but about from where u book and we need to see the boarding pass, but again, its no where in the booking system such condition at all !!. Big family refused to check in despite having a booking confirmation and 2 fsmily members of age 65 years waited for 3.5hrs of fight and negotiations to allow them entry. At the end i was simply robbed by paying illegally 1000£ to resolve the situation. They were in touch even with the hotel manager (someone called Mr. Sherif) and he is the decision making person and he allow this scandal. I'm sure they will see this review and will respond with non sense emails i never saw and phone calls, the whole point this is purely illegal and discriminative and a NO CHANCE to be back or recommending this hotel to anyone honestly

We had a wonderful family vacation and really enjoyed our stay. The new family room was very comfortable and well designed and with excellent privacy especially appreciated when traveling as a family. The food was beyond excellent the variety and quality were impressive throughout our vacation. The pools and beach areas were always clean and well maintained. Although the resort was very busy with many guests the staff were always helpful and made sure my family could find a good place to relax.The beach is not sandy but the coral reef is wonderful and makes snorkeling a fantastic experience. The aqua park was very well organized and we were impressed by the high level of safety and supervision. Overall we had a very comfortable and enjoyable family vacation. Great food, excellent facilities, beautiful snorkeling, and helpful staff made it a memorable stay.

The hotel grounds are very lovingly landscaped – lots of greenery with beautiful flowers and plants Pool The rooms are clean but a bit dated The food and service at the snack bar were poor. We had to wait a very long time for drinks, or the food was undercooked or lukewarm. My favourite spot for breakfast and dinner was the beach restaurant – everything there is just spot on. A varied selection, excellent flavours and the service – especially from Mahmoud – was very attentive. Entertainment – I’m thinking in particular of Joli and Mailey. Both do an excellent job to a very high standard. Aqua Zumba, body workouts, Pilates – great guidance through the exercises, and if you made a mistake, you were charmingly corrected. They’re both outstanding dancers too, and their moves and charisma really capture that Egyptian flair. It could hardly have been better – they’re by far among the best entertainment staff I’ve ever experienced in Egypt. I’ve stayed in various hotels 30 times, but I’ve found these two to be by far the best so far.
