Steigenberger Aqua Magic

Great location and atmosphere. The hotel has a beautiful architectural design, spacious layout, and a nice overall appearance. The service was very good, and the rooms were generally clean, although some tables and dining utensils could be cleaned more thoroughly. The room needs some improvements: maintenance response was slow, the minibar wasn't working well, the air conditioning was weak, there were no slippers, no hooks or hangers in the bathroom, and the glass bathroom door doesn't provide enough privacy. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend the hotel.

Heard a lot good things about Steigenberger so we wanted to try it during our visit to Egypt. Pros: - staff is super friendly - Beach is nice/sandy on the eldaw side, rocky on the aqua magic side - slides are nice for the kids, usually not too busy Cons: - Service in general is very poor. Even Stella & Sakara (Egyptian beer) are extra charge. - We had 3 birthdays on our stay (wife + 2 kids), guest relations thankfully arranged that the rooms were gonna be decorated when we come back, unfortunately only my 6 years old's bed was decorated, nothing for my other kid or wife, and funny enough room service didn't even replace the towels on that day! - Booked a spa package for my wife for her birthday, told them the only goal is for her to relax, and the girl working there spent the time telling my wife personal sad stories of hers! - pool lounges are all gone by 8.30am as it was busy during our stay. Kids did have fun and we made nice memories, just need to keep your expectations low.

Returned from this hotel friendly staff great food excellent location The main pool is busy but well manged by the lifeguards on duty there are other pools to use as well This hotel has a lazy river and water slides mini bar in room is re stocked daily Bottled water fridges are located all over the complex so you just help yourself same with ice cream and fizzy drinks The hotel is spotless clean The best restaurant is the Italian which you can go to for breakfast bit calmer then main one! The only issue i had was on arrival i had booked superior double pool view I was placed in basic twin over looking the road which is noisy from taxi coaches etc But no issue i said that is not the room i had booked they said cant do anything that night but can move me next day which the did pool view superior double much better excellent Wifi as well
