We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Makadi! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to escape the daily routine and enjoy a truly relaxing holiday The overall atmosphere is calm, elegant, and welcoming, making it an ideal place to unwind and recharge The rooms were comfortable, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean, with housekeeping doing an excellent job throughout our stay. Every detail contributed to making us feel comfortable and at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always welcoming us with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed. The bars were fantastic, offering great drinks, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy throughout the day A special thank you to Ahmed from the entertainment team, who was extremely professional, friendly, and passionate about his work. He genuinely made our holiday even better and added a special touch to our experience The golf facilities were another highlight, offering a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting for anyone who enjoys the game Overall, Steigenberger Makadi combines excellent service, comfortable and clean rooms, beautiful surroundings, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it truly special We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable holiday in Makadi Bay

The location is perfect beautiful views from all aspects of the hotel and easy access to the beach.From arriving to leaving the staff in all areas of the hotel make you feel so welcome and the clients including myself have lots of fun with the activities and evening entertainment lots of people return twice a year including myself .The accommodation is very good and it is cleaned daily.The food is excellent so much variety. The service is second to none even around the pool area you don’t have to move from your sun bed Osman and the other waiters come around with drinks and the Chefs bring fresh fruit or cakes .The staff in the restaurant by the pool serve late breakfast and a variety of food for lunch they are so kind and always have a smile .There is a beauty salon I can recommend Ivy and Heba they do amazing massages there is also a jacuzzi and other beauty products plus pedicures manicures etc. I have to say the first contact on arrival is reception Mr Mahmoud and his staff make you feel so welcome and are always happy to help with any concerns you may. What more could you want.When clients were leaving they genuinely did not want to leave including myself. Thank you to all the staff for their kindness and laughter.See you all in April.

To say this hotel in incredible is an understatement! We were back for our second visit after staying there in February this year and it did not disappoint. The location is perfect around 30 minutes from the airport and the golf course is magnificent for those that play. The reception team arranged private transfers for us, our old room and extra hangers, all before we even arrived (I have a lot of clothes) and we were greeted on arrival with warm welcomes and hugs !! every single person there remembered us and all couldn't have done enough for us again during our stay. The hotel itself is spotless and really well laid out. The rooms are spotlessly cleaned every day. There is entertainment on some days around the pool and every evening in the bar. The food is exceptional and although the main restaurant is a buffet style you can still have waiter service if you wish (menu on the table). If there is something not on the menu, the staff also offer to prepare it (if they can). Seriously EVERY single person goes above and beyond, from the management (special shout out to Mahmoud Restaurant manager and Mahmoud Asst FO Manager) to the bar and all restaurant staff, to the 2 life guards (who even insist on turning your beds for you and opening the gym early for me) to the cleaners! It's a huge team effort and you will be treated like family throughout your stay. We met many people there who stay for a month and others that have been back over 10 times and we can totally understand why. We have come home and already booked to return in February 2027.

Lovely hotel, such a relaxing break. Food range was excellent with lots of incredibly fresh options. Mido and Hossam looked after us by the pool for the entire 2 weeks. Both good fun, nothing was too much trouble.
