Sultan Bey Resort

Most relaxing and enjoyable holiday ever! Rooms, beds, shower, service all outstanding. Food choice wide and varied, show cooking excellent. Wide choice for all meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, including bar meals. Pool and pool area well cared for and so clean. No hassle from people offering services like spa, trips, boat rides, said no thanks once and was never bothered again. Amazing happy, polite and attentive staff at all levels. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to relax and rest in great well maintained surroundings.

This hotel is absolutely exceptional for many reasons. It is beautiful, indeed quite exotic, throughout. I would never have known that I was on an all inclusive holiday – the food was varied and absolutely excellent, far better than I expected.. I loved the live music at mealtimea, sometimes even at breakfast. Everything is spotless, the grounds are kept immaculate and the staff cannot do enough. Make sure you visit the little shop run by Ahmed! I would recommend this hotel very strongly. I cannot wait to return..

We have just gotten back from 9 days at The Sultan Bey Hotel. The hotel is more than we hoped for. The room was lovely, although the bathroom could do with a little bit of modernisation, like a few other people have said. The staff were kind, friendly and not overpowering, which is a great plus in my book. If someone was selling a trip or experience and you said no thank you, that was it. We did a bit of exploring in this beautiful area, and a lot of lazing by the pool and swimming in the heated swimming pool. The food was delicious, for me particularly the choice of salads, hummous, labna, all the things I love to eat. We enjoyed it so much we were sad to leave yesterday and look forward to returning and being in this lovely hotel with lovely staff again. Oh and Lucca, carry on entertaining everyone and making the laugh like you did us!!!

Short version; Go there you will not be disappointed. Long version; The pictures you will see online do not do Sultan Bey Hotel justice it looks so much better when you are there. The food is varied, of good quality & nearly always hot. It is a short walk from the hotel to downtown El Gouna or you can jump on one of the Tuk Tuk's if you wish to travel a bit further. All the staff we had contact with were professional, efficient & friendly. The drinks on the all inclusive surprised me as they were very palatable. For us that was beer, red/white wine & cocktails, the cocktails were on the weak side but still most enjoyable & if wanted we could have requested another shot of spirits. There was entertainment every night of or 11 nights stay, there was also entertainment for a few of the breakfasts in the restaurant & many of the afternoon's at the pool bar. The rooms are a generous size & are kept spotlessly clean we had​ comfortable mattresses & pillows, to be honest better than most we have had at other hotels over the years. Our room cleaner Mandoo was excellent, he worked around our erratic in & out of the room & always left our room extremely clean & tidy, nice one Mandoo. Okay, now to my only negative. The rooms are looking a bit jaded, especially the bathrooms. Would this put me off staying there again? Not a all, the positives for Sultan Bey hotel far out weigh the one negative, infact we are seriously thinking of coming again next year.​
