Our stay at Sunny Days Palma De Mirette Resort & Spa in Hurghada last week was a fantastic escape from the daily routine, and overall, the hotel delivered a very solid vacation experience. The location right on the Red Sea is hard to beat, and waking up to that sea breeze from our room balcony every morning was absolute bliss. The property has two lovely lagoons where the water is calm and crystal clear, making it super relaxing for swimming without having to worry about strong currents. We spent hours just lounging on the sunbeds and snorkeling right off the shore, spotting plenty of colorful fish around the coral patches. The room itself was spacious, clean, and equipped with a comfortable king-sized bed, though the interior design is starting to look a bit dated and could use a minor refresh. Housekeeping did a wonderful job twisting towels into fun shapes on the bed every day, which always brought a smile to our faces. When it came to dining, the main buffet offered a decent variety of Mediterranean and local dishes, though by day five, the flavors started repeating a bit. The outdoor terrace during dinner was definitely the highlight—eating grilled chicken and fresh local pastries while watching the sunset over the water is something we will miss. The animation team tried hard to keep everyone entertained with aqua aerobics and evening shows, though we mostly preferred quiet strolls along the palm-lined paths after dark. While the resort itself is great for a lazy beach holiday, the absolute highlight of our trip happened when we ventured outside the gates for our excursions. We booked our tours through a local company called Sheriff Egypt, which we easily found by searching their name online, and it turned out to be the best decision of our entire vacation. Not only were their prices significantly lower than the absurd rates quoted by our hotel tour guide, but the level of organization and personal care was on a completely different level. We decided to do two major trips with them, and both exceeded our expectations. First, we booked the Cairo trip in a small group of up to eight people with a private guide. Traveling in a comfortable mini-bus instead of a massive crowded tourist coach made the long drive to Giza completely painless. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and fluent in English, taking us through the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum at our own relaxed pace without making us feel rushed through souvenir shops like the big tour buses do. The second excursion was a boat trip to Hula Hula Island, and it was pure perfection. The yacht they used was brand new, incredibly clean, modern, and well-equipped with plenty of comfortable seating areas and top-notch snorkeling gear. The crew was attentive and friendly, serving a delicious lunch onboard, while our guides again spoke fluent English and made sure everyone felt safe and cared for during the open-water swim stops. The island itself lived up to all the hype with its blindingly white sand and turquoise shallows. If you are heading to Hurghada and want a smooth, high-quality experience without overpaying the resort reps, definitely look up Sheriff Egypt online—they truly made our anniversary trip unforgettable.

Literally this trip was my favorite i had so much fun and the animation team was honestly amazing! I spent a whole week with them, and they were all so sweet, kind, and welcoming. They made the experience so much more fun, and I genuinely enjoyed every moment with them. I’m really grateful for all the effort and positive energy they gave us. Definitely one of the best teams i have seen in all the years i have came in it here, ana i am so glad of that

Just home from an amazing week. Loved our hotel, the pools were fab, lovely food. We were all inclusive and tried 3 buffet bars, chinese and seafood restaurants. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Too many people to thank individually. All areas kept lovely and clean and the beach was gorgeous. So thankful.
