Excellent hotel and friendly staff. Clean throughout. Amazing food choices and plenty of variety. The chance to visit other restaurants around the complex was also an option, which was included within our all inclusive package. Trips were very organised and outstanding. All staff could not do enough to make your stay perfect. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. Had a week on my own and really enjoyed the stay. It’s a small hotel which I loved. Staff were so friendly and polite - in particular Aslan who is the pool drinks man who literally won’t let your drink run out. The room had everything you need and was very modern and clean. I was in room 245 which was quiet as requested however there is work going on t the hotel opposite so I was unable to sit out on the balcony due to the construction noise. This is not the hotels fault but would have been better once it’s completed. Of an added bonus is the tv had a couple of British channels which is rare! Food is varied and enough choice and exceptionally presented. There are plenty of sunbeds and no need for the buffoons who were out at 6am putting their towels out! I don’t go out at night but got up early for a walk and felt completely safe walking around. I was ill for one day but think that was more down to change or food and overdoing the sun bathing - there is a pharmacy nearby and they gave me some tablets which sorted me out. Overall I loved the holiday and would love to return at some point Why it isn’t a 5* I don’t know as it is up there with others I have stayed at including the steigenburger up the road from the makadi.

This is the third time I have been to this resort TUI BLUE Makadi Gardens and it most certainly won’t be the last, I just love everything about it. On entering the hotel you are made completely welcome, the hotel is nicely decorated & very clean, the staff are always there if you need them anytime of day or night. The rooms are clean & plenty of space for two sharing. The food is amazing & plenty of choice, the waiters are extremely friendly & professional at their jobs. The pools are clean, plenty of sunbeds & parasols, Mando is brilliant at getting everyone involved with the poolside activities, he is amazing & such a lovely guy. Islam was our poolside drinks guy, wow you must be pleased to have him, he was there with drinks & chats everyday, he is seriously a credited to your hotel, was actually sad saying buy to him. The guy who cleaned my glasses was a truely nice guy, had some nice chats with him, think his name was Acyrum (sorry if spelt wrong) he was genuinely a really nice person. The evening entertainment was also excellent & enjoyed watching. It was my birthday 11 September so I was greeted by the waiters singing happy birthday, that was overwhelming & lovely, got back to my room to a birthday cake, chocolates & champagne, was an absolutely wonderful treat & thank you. Then 12 September it was my best friends 60th birthday so it was done all again 🥰. The beach is only a few minutes walk & it is beautiful, the beach bar restaurant is amazing & the menu is delicious. Two weeks is seriously not long enough but I can assure you I shall be back & definitely recommend to family & friends. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay. Another excellent holiday at Makadi Gardens Hotel in Hurghada Egypt. The hotel is spotless,the rooms are well proportioned with modern furniture with attentative service by enthusiastic and energenic housekeeping staff. The pools are well maintained and cleaned daily. The pool staff are focused on visitor requirement; be it moving sunbeds to ensuring umbrellas are well sited to provide well needed shade when requried. All of the staff are there to please and meet visitor requirement. Overall the hotel is managed by an experienced management and leadership team. If you want a good quality holiday in a relatively small hotel whose sole aim is to provide high quality service to all visitors. The entertainment provided by visiting acts varies in terms of quality but is more than sufficient to entertain the visitor dynamics. This was our fifth visit which I think speaks volumes, we are already looking at booking again next year. All at Makadi Gardens should be applauded for their professionalism and dedication. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday with great weather on offer this hotel maybe to one to choose. Many guests have been to this hotel many times, after 1 day it is obvious why so many guests keep returning year after year …….. The hotel is exceptionally clean , our pool view room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. The hotel team are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Food wise , the buffet restaurant always had a nice calm atmosphere blended with a wide choice of tasty dishes on offer. . We used the on site a la carte restaurant once and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food quality. Tip- Booking the à la carte restaurants is much easier via the hotel reception team. Both pools were a good size with a nice temperature, sun-beds did start to get reserved from around 6am. The pool /pool bar team were great, always available suppling drinks and moving sun-beds etc The daytime activity team were also excellent. One area the hotel could consider improving is the evening entertainment offering, the exception being the fortnightly evening street carnival which was excellent. Overall this hotel really does deserve a 5 star rating. Would we return in the future? Absolutely
