TUI MAGIC LIFE Kalawy

We had an amazing time it TUI Magic Life Kalawy. This place have everything for everyone. Mymo kins club is absolute blast for kids. Packed with all sorts of interesting activities for different ages. The club team is really great. Our son was with Louis and Tilde. He couldn't stop talking about how amazing they were. Thank you so much guys. Entertainment team also scores top points. They put so much effort at many activities though out the day, I'm not sure when they sleep, actually:). We enjoyed archery with Dima and darts with anothet Dima very much. Everyone in Entertainment team is super friendly and full of beans. Impressive evening shows every day (Nuria doing a incredible job) movie on the beach every day. You practically torn apart some evenings between choices;) If you like diving and snorkeling- this is right place to come. Very big home rif. Big diving centre (extra pay for diving and equipment hire) and water spots center (you can use SUP, kayak and surf - free every day in the laguna). My husband passed 3days diving course with Mo. Very happy with how it was all organised- safe, straight to the point, very professional). Thank you Mo! Housekeeping team keep it clean and tidy. Food and beverage literally hundred choices every day. So yummy food, had to stop eating. Lots of vegetables, fresh fruits and amazing deserts. Very lovely cocktails & too. The cherry on the cake for me personally was the Garden. We had a very interesting garden tour. Its impressive how in the middle of desert such an oasis was created. Stunning Garden- respect to the gardening team for keeping it in such state. We will definitely come back to this Magical place. We met so many people who keeps coming back 5th or 6th time. What a fantastic holiday. Amazing weather. The resort has a lower % of British guests than other places I've been, which I think contributed to a quieter vibe (and I say that as a British guest..). This was not a Brits abroad boisterous place at all. We visited at the tail end of the UK summer holidays; apparently other countries schools had started to go back, so while there were still a lot of children, it was not wildly busy with families like it can be at peak summer time. Mymo Club - Amazing, one of the best kids clubs ever. Predominantly German-first activities and music, but this is not a bad thing and they make sure to cover other languages. Food - Fantastic, lots of choice - the main buffet was excellent and even though it was still school holidays it was not over busy. Never an issue getting a table, no waiting for ages for cutlery etc. It was very efficient. As for the A La Cartes: Egyptian - Our favourite, really enjoyed it East - It was ok, nothing special, we found the food a bit bland and basic but worth going as it's included. Fish & Grill - A bit on the fence with this one. Not sure it was really worth the extra since the quality of the other food was so good, but it was very quiet, almost private dining when we visited. Wouldn't necessarily recommend this as it was essentially just a paid version of the other restaurants without really adding much extra. But if you don't mind paying and want that more quiet experience, go for it. The food was still lovely. Snack Bars - Great for lunch, freshly made pizza and burgers were delicious. Staff - Amazing, a little tip here and there is appreciated. While we encountered many great staff I do have to call out Walid Ashraf who cleaned our room every day and left different animals made of towels which our son loved. Tip: Just ask for sugar free drinks if that's what you prefer. Longest I waited at the bar was about 5 minutes. Sunbeds: Typically all reserved very early, but just ask the lifeguard at the pool of your choice and they'll find a spot for you and get you sorted. A small tip keeps this up all holiday! Beach: Great! Very calm, private bay with warm and shallow waters. Free watersports were fun. Rooms: We paid a little extra for a sea view room and felt it was well worth it. It was at the end of the block and felt very private thanks to the design and the flowers on the balcony. Spacious, super clean with efficient and quiet aircon. Beds very comfortable. Sleep quality was excellent. Final note - Don't worry about the Egypt visa, you can pay in pounds at the Tui reccomended desks or Dollars at one of the bank desks. We sorted on arrival, there were plenty of lanes and the process took less than 10 minutes. All in all, a fantastic resort. Would absolutely recommend, and would happily return.

We had an unforgettable stay here at Kalawy. I never have any expectations when i go away as its always made to look amazing online but this place exceeded my expectations. I took my 2 teenage grankids 17 & 15, they absolutely loved it. It was just us as husband on a work trip but we loved every moment. The kids were wowed by their first snorkeling experience and loved the water sports which are part of package! The lagoon is beautiful. You can do as much or as little as you want to. The food is good with plenty of choice. The rooms are lovely and kept very clean. The hotel staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. This place has everything for families, couples and even if you're flying solo. We couldn't have asked for more. So with that I'm going back with husband in October. Can't wait!

I feel the need to write this review having just read one that gives the hotel 1*. It mentioned unfriendly staff. I have been tui this hotel 4 times and have not come across one unfriendly member of staff. If also mentioned terrible food...I have been anywhere where there has been such a vast choice, perfect freshly cooked omelettes for breakfast 😘, the Magico restaurant was amazing as was the Italian. I personally didn't try the others. In my opinion, if you’re planning a trip to Egypt and seeking a memorable stay, this hotel is a gem! The staff offer warm hospitality and attentive service and make you feel truly valued as a guest. Tips are welcome but this year we put tips in the boxes for general distribution (unbeknown to the staff) and our service, apart from one afternoon, was spot on. Located in a remote location, the hotel offers snorkelling from the jetty, several pools and a lovely beach. For the sports lovers, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, from water sports to fitness facilities. In a nutshell, this hotel provides a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and luxury—making it an ideal choice for your Egyptian getaway! 🌅🍹🏊‍♂️🏖️ Added to the above, Chill tours are located on site and offer a range of professional guided tours, be it quads, boat trips for snorkelling, boat trips to islands, or to see turtles, dolphins, or manatees. I stayed at the resort for 2 weeks, I particularly enjoyed the Teens Club. Paulina and Luisa were the Teens Club entertainers, they were great at making me feel like part of the group, they made it very easy for me to make new friends and get to know people. The activities were very varied and interesting. The teens who went to the Teens Club were from multiple different countries. Both Paulina and Luisa were very friendly, kind and entertaining. I highly recommend going and taking part in the Teens club it is a very great experience. My only regret is that I did not go to the Teens Club from the first day that I arrived. I hope that one day I can go back to TUI Magic Life Kalawy, I LOVED IT SO MUCH!
