Well what can I say, I read a couple of negative reviews as well as the positive and many people returning time after time and I was a bit apprehensive to be fair, me and my wife book to Egypt twice a year and have for a fair few years now stopping at various resorts so my expectations were was not too high I was so wrong although the place does not have the wow factor as some of the hotels it makes up for that on location and service, as well as the amenities, if it your first time in Egypt this place will feel like the holy grail compared to places in Europe I was a bit concerned that it is one and a half hour transfer from Hurghada airport as I usually stay at places closer to Hurghada so transfer times are within 30 minutes it was worth every extra mile The hotel is clean and well kept the rooms are clean and and have everything you need , tea, coffee soft drinks and bottled water in the mini fridge, there is other drinks you can order in room service a nice bag of men’s and women’s toiletries was a Nice touch so do t worry if you have forgotten your shaver or toothbrush and paste it’s in the bag , two dressing gowns and slippers in the wardrobe as well as a digital safe 43 inch remote control TV not many English channels to watch but there are film and cartoon channels in English for the kids and in other languages as well as sports channels catch up on premiership games as well as championship and champions league Beds are comfortable and cleaned daily For often decorated with towels made into either swans elephants or any oher artistically designed origami with towels Food was nice at breakfast lunch and dinner with plenty of choice with a great variety daily and themed evenings I Must admit better than places I have stayed before, Also à la cartes if you want to book but we did not bother as the food was good so happy to just eat at the restaurant 15:30-17:30 the coffee bar opens where you get fresh coffees and teas of your choice pastries And sandwiches as well as cakes, a great stop off after going to the pool or beach all day in a lovely area with shaded seating areas surrounding a pond Lots of activities included As it is on a lagoon which is shallow in parts you can actually walk across to the other side in some parts Kayaking paddle boarding and wind surfing is all included Book scuba diving or snorkelling trips, camel and horses rides around the lagoon that take you off somewhere as well as Quad biking it’s all there on your doorstep superb place Take a walk around the lagoon to the opposite side lovely views A few shops there as you are about 100km from Hurghada The closest town is Safaga about 35km away you can get a taxi from the hotel if you want there is a pharmacy and other shops selling bags and trainers t shirts and the usual stuff you see 24 hour bar and nightclub if that’s your thing Plenty of activities and entertainment and a great kids club there is also a gym for those fitness fanatics or if you want to keep fit There are spin classes and spin bikes over looking the sea in a shaded area by the lagoon Never struggled to get a couple of loungers the guys done the lagoon will make sure you get set up staff are great there Nice pools too with kids pools and slides take your pick we was at the beach all day most days to be fair nice breeze and not far to the rooms or bars and food stops So I will be 100% returning my daughters will love it there it’s a great place and one of the best all round places we have stopped in Egypt and we go twice a year both sharm and Hurghada See you soon magic life

We are visiting the hotel with a large group for the third time. Overall, we are satisfied with the service, the food, and the attitude of the staff. Although the hotel is no longer new, the grounds are well maintained and the staff clearly do their best. However, there are still several issues that need attention. One of the most disappointing things is that the poor condition of the beach mattresses and sun loungers has remained unchanged for several years. This is particularly disappointing for a hotel of this standard. The air-conditioning units in the rooms are also very old and excessively noisy. Guests staying on the upper floors have particular difficulty sleeping because of the loud noise and vibrations coming from the cooling units on the roof. It seems that proper anti-vibration mounts may be missing. This is not an isolated issue affecting just one building; it appears to be a widespread problem throughout the hotel. My question to the hotel management is straightforward: are there any concrete plans to modernise these facilities? It is frustrating to see an otherwise excellent club hotel concept undermined by issues that may seem minor but have a significant impact on guests' comfort. I would appreciate a specific answer rather than a general statement: when are the beach sun loungers and mattresses due to be replaced, and when is the renovation or replacement of the air-conditioning systems planned?

Amazing hotel. Food excellent with loads of variety. Resort super clean and tidy. There were cats everywhere which the children loved but could be annoying for some people. The kids club was incredible. Super friendly staff and the kids absolutely loved it. Amazing snorkeling and loads of activities to do every day which is great as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Would highly recommend and looking forward to returning.

I have just returned from a lovely week here in October. Family 2 adults and 2 teens. We had a great week. The place is beautifully kept. The trees and flowers and grounds are beautiful. Our room was huge with lovely high ceilings. The kids bedroom was completely separate to ours with the wardrobe and bathroom area separating us. We had bathrobes, slippers and a kettle with tea tray. Our fridge was refilled daily with water and cans of pop. I was pleased to have a latch on the door as the door opened straight into the kids room so I felt reassured that nobody could physically enter during the night. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was great with the toilet separate. The shower cubical had a glass door which was not private so I packed my own shower curtain to drape over the door so we could shower privately, while others used the bathroom The fridge was not very cold but kept the drinks chilled if they were at the back. (Fine for drinks, probably not for medication which requires fridge temperatures) Everything worked and was spotlessly clean. The room (22106) was a great room and we loved it. Food: We have visited about 10 TUI 5* AI resorts and this was the best buffet we have ever had. So much cooked and prepared in front of you in the buffet so it was so fresh and had excellent presentation. Simply can't fault it. A huge variety of food to suit everyone. From fussy kids to gluten free / vegan it catered for everyone, at every single meal. The oat milk was not like alpro or oatly but I had brought my own so used that instead. I did NOT see soya or almond milk. I loved the smoothies at breakfast. The speciality restaurants were also fantastic. Excellent food served with love and a smile. The vegan (almond) pannecotta served in the Italian restaurant was one of the best ive ever eaten. Being intolerant to cow milk it was such a treat to have a proper pannecotta. I recommend booking them all. Pools. Lovely and clean. Never busy, pool bars nearby, waiter service, and towel stations conveniently located so you could change your towels as often as you want. Inflatables allowed (bring your own and pump) We all enjoyed the slides. Always plenty of sunbeds. (Nice quality comfortable ones with cushions on top) If you want to be around the activity pool you want to get your towel down before 9am, but always beds on beach and slide pool. It's not something to stress about. Attentive lifeguards ensure safety. Beach. The bay is lovely, so even when it was windy (on 4 / 7 days with pier was red flag due to wind) so can swim and canoe and paddle board and windsurf in calm water. There are Also a few fish to spot including rays and puffer fish. When the pier is open the house reef is amazing. So many fish and if you are lucky you might see a turtle or dolphin. Can also dive from here. Shower available to wash the salt off. Attentive lifeguards make it feel very safe and you could swim as far as you wanted (subject to lifeguards advice) Dont forget your waterproof camera / phone case. There is also the beach bar for drinks and chocolate pancakes. (Lovely spot at sunset) And 3 exercise bikes if you want to have your own biking session whilst watching the sea. Activities: There is so much going on here. We didn't use kids clubs as our child are too old but they looked good Loads of sport activities and exercise classes. I especially loved aqua exercise bike classes. Other options include tennis, football, archery, volley ball, darts, spinning classes, as well as aerobics, Pilates, yoga, Zumba, Nordic waking water classes etc. Plus windsurfing/ paddle boarding / canoe at the beach. Entertainment every evening, with everyone giving it their all. staff: Every single person I encountered was so happy and friendly. Such a pleasant kind team doing their very best to help you have the happiest holiday. WiFi: Not brilliant. Some areas had none. Other areas were better but always slow, then dropped ok. Ok for checking emails but not for video calls. Chill tours: Highly recommend for an amazing trip out. We did the private trip with 3 other familys from this hotel. It was the best day of our holiday. I highly recommend doing a trip with them. We were driven to soma bay where we spent 6 hours on an enormous private yacht including lunch, fruit and unlimited drinks. Incredible. €100 pp but worth every penny. Shops: Didn't use but lots available. Overall we had a lovely memorable October half term week here. You can chill or be as busy as you want. A lovely place in the middle of nowhere in the desert, about 90 minutes from hurgada airport. We were British but I believe most of the guests were German. It was a civilised safe place, and I only saw excellent polite behaviour from all guests including children. (Very different clientele from the holiday village we visited last October) I was slightly concerned about upset tummys etc but we were all fine and did not experience any problems, so needn't have worried. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely return.
