Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh

Farha was excellent - provided great service - thoroughly recommended

Lovely resort but staff, service and food appalling

All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. All aspects of our stay were dealt with efficiently and with a smile Our room was cleaned to a very high standard (thanks to Sophie) as were all other areas of the hotel and pool. What was particularly nice was that the staff remembered us from our stay in March. We loved it soo much then - we came back. Sometimes a review can sound too good to be true but , in this case it really is as good as we have stated.

Food is ok, pretty consistent but not changing much. Service is trying there best but could managed better especially for service on drinks and cleaning it could be better.

Baron resort is a fantastic hotel in every way Our room was lovely, very spacious and spotlessly clean with a big balcony over looking the very pretty gardens Gorgeous pool area , and beach with very comfortable sunbeds with enough space between them . The food was really good with lots of choices and great selection of drinks and cocktails served by the most friendly staff . All of the staff at this hotel are extremely helpful and will do their best to keep the guests happy The only one negative thing was the shop on the beach selling perfumed oils etc We bought 2 bottles of oil which smelt amazing (in the shop) . The bottles were tightly wrapped to stop them leaking but that was also obviously so we wouldn’t open them until back home When we eventually did open them they had no smell at all and where very thick and oily So obviously what we had smelt was not what we were given Apparently this is a common trick these shops use in Egypt but it is disappointing that this is allowed to happen at such a lovely hotel , and the guy who is selling these products is a friendly man who walks along the beach chatting to guests inviting them to come and smell his oils and fragrances We were also overcharged by him ,which I did not realise until we got home Only by £10 ish but we felt completely conned by him I’m not sure if the hotel management will even realise what he is doing .I would imagine they don’t as it is such a great hotel But just please avoid him and his shop
