The reception staff were more concerned about cutting their bands off your hands instead of sorting the problems out with the rooms

The room was adequately clean, most of the staff were friendly, and the pool was warm. Aside from this, the hotel was poor. The buildings were dated, the grounds needed work (although I did see staff attending to them), but the major let down was the food. Meal times were dreaded. The buffet restaurant was constantly overcrowded, with a poor selection limited to stews, rice, and vegetable ragu which still gives me a pit in my stomach at the thought. The majority of other holiday-goers completely ignore the concept of a queue and will jump ahead of you. When you try to explain that you were there first they look completely bewildered. The drinks selection was awful. Mojitos that tasted of cheap mouthwash. Three quarters of our party were poorly with upset tummies throughout our week there, and this wasn’t limited to us as we heard plenty of others discussing their own diarrhoea (right before plopping themselves into the pool…). It was a cheap holiday but it certainly wasn’t cheerful.

ed by this hotel, particularly by the Front Desk/Reception staff. 1. I was given a room that had not even been cleaned and was clearly not ready for guests. 2. This hotel does not deserve a 5-star rating. The actual standard of the hotel is far below what you would expect from a 5-star property. 3. The sports facilities are old, damaged, and poorly maintained. For example, the volleyball net and ball are in very poor condition, and the darts board is extremely old and practically unusable. 4. The hotel management is highly irresponsible and, in my experience, misleading. It gives the impression that guests are intentionally placed in rooms with unacceptable living conditions, only to be asked to pay additional money if they want to move to a better room. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 5-star. 5. The food is extremely disappointing and tasteless. The selection is also very limited, with very few options available. 6. The evening entertainment is very low-budget and disappointing. If you are expecting the quality of entertainment normally associated with a 5-star resort, this is definitely not the place for you. 7. The hotel infrastructure is very old and clearly needs significant renovation and maintenance. 8. The late check-out policy is also very misleading. Guests are repeatedly told that a late check-out will be decided on the final day. However, when the time comes, the reception staff immediately claim that there is no availability, despite the hotel being far from fully occupied. In my experience, the information provided by the Front Desk is simply not trustworthy. The only positive aspect of this hotel is the service staff. They are genuinely kind, helpful, and seem sincerely sorry that guests have been sent to this hotel by their tour operators. Unfortunately, their efforts cannot compensate for the serious problems with the management, reception, food, facilities, and overall hotel standards. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and I certainly would not consider it a 5-star property.

Overall a fantastic two weeks, the all inclusive food was very mixed but so cheap to eat out with restaurants next door, the room was spacious and cleaned every day, hotel entertainment as you would expect from a hotel, location is fine but need induce or taxis but what really made this stay special are the Staff, absolutely incredible from the room cleaner the reception bar staff, and the pool staff but I have a special mention for Amir who runs the evening restaurant and outside drinks. The big downside is you check out by 12, I am then getting picked up at 6 but they cut your all inclusive band off so you can’t have lunch or drinks, I have never had this in any resort so they need to change that rule All in all a great holiday

Just returned home from this hotel and wanted to share our experience. The rooms were cleaned every day and the view from our room was amazing. The pool staff couldn’t do enough for you and always made sure you had everything you needed. We ate at the Grill House, Asian House and My Place, and the food was good. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the Fish Market because our group of four all became ill two days into our stay with really bad stomach problems. We’re still not 100% after being home for 7 days. We couldn’t eat and could only manage to drink water, so sadly we missed out on a lot during our holiday. We found most of the staff very friendly, especially Amir in the restaurant, who was amazing. Unfortunately, we found some of the reception staff rude and unhelpful. The things we weren’t happy with were having to pay for ice cream as it wasn’t included in the all-inclusive package, not even in the restaurant. The drinks also weren’t great — all the cocktails seemed to taste the same and, in our opinion, definitely tasted watered down. The all-inclusive wristbands are removed at 12pm on checkout, regardless of what time your flight is. They will allow you to have lunch if you missed lunch on your arrival day, but you are only supposed to have water to drink. We have never experienced this at an all-inclusive hotel before. We were allowed to use the spa shower facilities on our last day. Unfortunately, there was no privacy. A member of the spa staff was sitting waiting for her client to come out of the sauna while we were trying to get dressed, and then two men were brought in to use the steam room while we were still there. We found this very uncomfortable and quite unbelievable. On the positive side, the beach and coral reef are amazing, with so many beautiful fish to see. However, the entertainment didn’t really cater for English guests and was mainly in Russian. Overall, there were some lovely aspects to the hotel, especially the rooms, views, pool staff and beach, but unfortunately, because of the illness, the issues with the all-inclusive arrangements, drinks and entertainment, we wouldn’t return.
