Invidia Coral Beach Tiran

What a fantastic week here totally relaxing. Rayan at reception managed to upgrade our room free of charge on arrival which was a welcomed surprise. Carlos at the infinity pool looked after both my wife and I brilliantly well as well as Basam in the restaurant. The spa staff were also excellent as well as all other staff memebers we spoke to throughout the hotel. The food was excellent with a great choice, brilliant quality at the buffet and a la carte restaurants. Pools were really quiet and felt very chilled. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing peaceful holiday, this is it.

Just spent the most relaxing week at this hotel, our first time here at this hotel. Ashraf at the beach looked after us very well, along with Carlos, Azmy, Halim and Serrafat at the Beach Bar/Infinity Pool. Ebram at the main bar was fantastic, always had our drinks orders ready for us, The reception staff were welcoming and extremely helpful, along with the restaurant manager and staff who were always attentive and helpful. Our housekeeper Ahmed kept our room clean and tidy and well stocked and did a fantastic job. The a la carte restaurants were beautiful. The staff go above and beyond to be helpful, we had a wonderful week 😊

We had a really lovely stay at Invidia. First impressions were excellent, friendly staff assisted us with our luggage, and offered a complementary mocktail and packed lunch due to our late arrival. This really set the tone for friendliness and attention to detail that staff showed throughout. This continued right through to our departure - we were able to extend our stay with late checkout with minimal fuss and we were kindly offered beverages as we waited for our airport transfer in the reception. The resort is quite large and based on a hill which was excellent for views of the ocean, but may not be the most accessible if you have mobility needs. We used the golf cart service for transporting our luggage and believe this can be used for general transportation around the resort if needed. The highlight is the house reef that is off the beach area. While there is no sea-joining beach, there are a few jetties going out to reefs and a wonderful variety of tropical fish can be seen, including lionfish and masked puffers! The beach facilities are excellent with showers and toilets and a beach bar which was fantastic and offered filling snacks like pizza and hotdogs and a variety of drinks (the staff were exceptional here, and really went above and beyond creating cocktails for us). Shaded areas are also available. One small criticism is that the number of sun beds could be increased (both at the beach and poolside), as they are often claimed early and left empty for long periods. Also, in some areas the music was a bit intense, which could make it hard to fully relax if that’s not your thing. There are also a variety of pools. The lifeguards were friendly in all areas, and clean towels can easily be obtained. Our favourite had a pool bar and slides, which were great fun. While the beach area is possibly too deep for children, a kid’s aqua park is available for water-based fun for the little ones. Our room was based in 4 Corralium and was clean and spacious with a sea view from the balcony, which was lovely. Our housekeeper Mohamed was attentive and went above and beyond with towel art and ensuring we had everything we needed (in particular the bottled water was very welcome!). The shower temperature was always excellent and the room was blissfully cool because of the aircon. Food-wise, the main restaurant offered a variety of good quality dishes with a BBQ option available every night. Unfortunately, the vegetarian options at dinner were variable and some dishes were mislabeled (e.g. vegetable noodles labeled as vegetarian but clearly containing chicken). Also be aware that if you have a nut allergy that some of the deserts are garnished with pistachios despite the labels showing they are nut free. It would be nice to have the option to add them separately to ensure that those with dietary needs are fully catered for. In addition to the main restaurant, there are a la carte restaurants available. We chose the Italian for our stay and it was lovely, with a wonderful atmosphere with a live guitarist and warm lighting. Service was extremely attentive and we left extremely full and content. Overall, we would highly rate Invidia. It was the perfect base for our diving holiday and the staff really made our stay delightful. It was very reasonably priced and the all-inclusive option covered everything we could need, as well as reasonable extras (for example, the laundry service). We would definitely consider coming back. We spent 11 nights in the Invidia Coral Beach Tiran. Overall, we had an excellent stay. There are 3 pools - the aqua park, the main pool next to the buffet restaurant, and the "infinity" pool, although I'm not sure that it truly qualifies as an infinity pool. The aqua park pool was generally really quiet, with sunbeds available even late morning (it got much busier on our second week, most beds taken by around 10:30am), and a swim up pool bar. The top pool wasn't to our liking - they play music far too loud, but if the other pools and the beach are busy then the last place to fill up is the top pool, probably because the music is just too loud. The bottom pool was our favourite, it had a much better "vibe" and has sea views, so we spent most of our mornings there. The "beach" is basically 3 tiered cliffs, with sunbeds and parasols. There is no real beach - access to the sea and the coral reef is via a small pier. The reef, however, is very good for snorkelling. The beach bar also serves afternoon snacks (burgers, fries, pizza) - all of which were actually pretty good. If you want sunbeds on the beach, be prepared to head down early - no later than 8am. The signs advise that there is no access prior to 8:30am and after sunset, but people were reserving beds as early as 7am. Food - Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fruit, cereals, cooked items, croissants and pastries, and omelettes. Don't expect any pork products, you're in Egypt after all. Lunch and evening buffet is a fairly standard all-inclusive, but the quality is good and their is plenty of variety. There are 3 special restaurants that can be visited once per week per restaurant; an Italian, a Japanese Teppanyaki and a Turkish. Booking the Turkish was easy enough, but if you want to book the Japanese you need to be prepared to queue from around 6:30am to have any chance of getting a table. The Italian is a little easier, but again, do this BEFORE you go for breakfast otherwise you'll miss out. The Japanese is excellent, the Italian pretty good. The Turkish was decent but not as good as the other 2. Entertainment wasn't great to be honest - it consisted mainly of kids disco's and Russian speaking acts / karaoke, so really not something we were interested in. But luckily, within a 15/20 minute taxi ride you have Soho Square, Basata Cafe and Farsha Cafe, all of which are a must-visit. Spa facilities are excellent - my wife and daughter visited 3 times over the 2 weeks for massage treatments and they were very happy. Staff are all friendly, particularly Basem in the Italian and main restaurant, and Carlos on the bottom pool bar. Jousff organised 3 of our excursions / activities, seek him out and he'll make sure you get a good experience. The only real complaint isn't with the hotel, but with the guests. Sharm is now primarily a destination for Russian and Italian tourists, with very few British tourists going these days. And unfortunately, the Russian tourists are really, really rude - pushing in front of you in queues and generally just being really awful. Overall, very happy with the hotel, but it was spoiled slightly by the rude Russians.

The hotel is simply excellent; we stayed there with the family in September. There is daily housekeeping, though you can opt out if you don't need it. The grounds are absolutely huge! There are three pools—one with waterslides—and each pool has a bar. All in all, we were absolutely delighted with our stay.
