We stayed at Jaz Fayroux. The staff are friendly and work so hard. The site gardens are fabulous, lovely flowers, grass and palm trees but accommodation is tired, especially bathrooms. We had a Garden view standard chalet room. Some rooms were getting a lick of paint. Ours had been painted the day we arrived. The white gloss paint on bathroom door was still very wet at 8pm when we arrived. With no windows to open, the paint fumes overnight were awful. . There was loud outside clubbing music till 2.15 am most nights, we moved on to a third room trying to get away from it and get some sleep. The room safe was also old and took 10/15 attempts to lock. The bathrooms very dire with rusty Bath fittings and cracked tiling with stained grouting. There was a few new deluxe chalets at the far end of the complex, but they still have the same restaurant buffet and al fresco offering, from which we both got Pharoah's tummy and had to get medication from local pharmacy. But we went for winter sun, and got constant 25° - 27°. Perfect! The area has been heavily developed over the last 20 years and not in a pleasant way. We will be looking for somewhere nicer next year.
