Just got back from a week at Jaz Mirabel Park & Club and had a really lovely holiday. One thing we didn’t realise before arriving is that Jaz Mirabel Park & Club and its sister hotel, Jaz Mirabel Beach, are on the same grounds, and guests can use the facilities at both. This gives you loads of choice for pools, restaurants and bars. We’ve been to Egypt several times before and have always ended up with upset stomachs, so we were pleasantly surprised that all 7 of us were absolutely fine this trip. That says a lot about the food hygiene. There was plenty of fresh cooking at both the restaurants and snack bars, with lots of choice throughout the day. The staff were fantastic and genuinely friendly. Every member of staff we met was brilliant, apart from one male at reception who seemed a little frustrated when asked questions or for help. The female guest experience team also regularly walked around checking if everything was OK, which was a nice touch, although a couple didn’t seem quite as enthusiastic when there was actually an issue to resolve. Our room was comfortable and clean. It’s starting to look a little dated, but it’s clear the hotel is investing in refurbishments, so it looks like they’re continually improving the resort. Throughout are beautiful gardens and some lovely unique birds. There are loads of pools to choose from. We mostly stayed at the one outside our room, which was ideal for the children. Most pools have a gradual entry before getting deeper, making them great for younger children and less confident swimmers, while still being deep enough for adults to enjoy. The 5 water slides were good fun, especially for the kids, but they are closed daily between 12:30 and 2:30, which is worth planning around. The lifeguards were very attentive, but at times a bit frustrating, constantly using whistles to direct people as they came off the slides, which could feel a little over the top. There are three buffet restaurants (one adults only), plus plenty of snack bars. We actually preferred the buffet at Jaz Mirabel Park & Club, finding it had a better choice, friendlier service and was much cooler inside. The buffet at Jaz Mirabel Beach felt more basic and the air conditioning struggled, especially at busy times. There are also Asian and Italian à la carte restaurants. Booking is done via a QR code, which unfortunately wasn’t straightforward if you’re travelling as a larger group across multiple rooms. It only allows you to book for the guests in your own room, and we also didn’t realise you could only choose one of the two restaurants during your stay. We were given a couple of promises that it had been sorted when it hadn’t, but Guest Relations at the Beach hotel resolved everything for us. If you’re travelling as a family or group, I’d recommend going straight to Guest Relations rather than relying on the app. The beach is only a short walk away. It’s very shallow, but the long jetty is absolutely worth the walk. Free life jackets are available, and if you take your snorkel you’ll see some incredible marine life. We spotted stingrays, puffer fish, and lots of other colourful fish. We also booked a boat trip where I tried scuba diving for the first time (€25). Swimming alongside a sea turtle was definitely the highlight of my holiday. Overall, we had a fantastic week. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere, plenty of facilities, excellent food hygiene and great staff. There are a few areas that could be improved, particularly the restaurant booking system and some of the older rooms, but they certainly didn’t spoil our holiday. We’d happily returnl

I came to Jaz Mirabel Park with a friend and stayed for 12 days. We stayed in a deluxe family room, with a partition door, pool view and it was perfect. The bathroom was absolutely lovely. Showers were hot and powerful, and the bathroom was spacious. Definitely the main feature of the room. Housekeeping was brilliant. In everyday and kept everything tidy. Even on the days we had gone back to the room early they always knocked on and asked if we needed clean towels or any coffee. The staff were great, made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. You felt like they wanted to be there for you rather than doing it for the tips. They honestly make you feel like you want to tip them for the great service they provide. If there were any problems they would ensure they dealt with it promptly. The facilities were clean, and the whole complex was beautiful. The food was lovely, enough variation we did not get bored in the 12 days. It was always hot and had taste, I have mainly been to Hurghada and have always struggled with hotel food. Here I didn’t. There are a few shops outside the hotel if you do need anything, and Hard Rock is just under ten mins car journey. Which is the main centre of Naqb bay. You can get the equivalent of an uber for less than £2 so can’t complain. Soho square is about a 20 minute drive and cost £3-5 depending on time of day. This was my first time back to sharm in over ten years and honestly I would go back to Sharm over Hurghada. In fact while I was there I loved this hotel that much I have booked to take the family next month. I have never returned to the same hotel. But that’s how much I personally loved the hotel.
