Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and felt that the hotel offered good value for money, with some fantastic staff who really made our holiday special. Location: The hotel is in a really good location, although you do have to cross a busy main road to get to the beach. The entertainment area has a great atmosphere, and the reception area is clean, bright and airy. The pool areas would have been perfect for relaxing and chilling out, but unfortunately, the constant noise from angle grinding and building work during our stay made this difficult. Rooms and cleanliness: The rooms are very spacious, with two large beds, a table and chairs, and plenty of storage space. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was very good. The beds were changed regularly, towels were replaced whenever needed, and the floors in the rooms were kept clean and fresh. For the price we paid, we felt the holiday was good value for money. Food and dining: Unfortunately, the food in the main dining area was not the greatest and could definitely be improved. The dining room itself is very large and reminded me of a school dining hall, with noise levels that could be quite high. We chose to use the Tex-Mex and beach alfresco restaurants instead, which provided a nice alternative. The dining room staff, however, worked incredibly hard to meet everyone’s needs and were always doing their best to provide good service. A special shout-out to Ahmed in the beach alfresco restaurant for his warm welcome and excellent service. Service and staff: This was definitely the highlight of our stay! The service was second to none, and every member of staff we encountered, from reception and the bar to housekeeping and security, was amazing. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and helpful, and they really made us feel looked after. A special mention must also go to Reda, the head bartender, for being so welcoming and kind. Ahmed and Reda, thank you both for helping to make our holiday more memorable! Areas for improvement: The biggest downside was the building work taking place during our stay. The constant noise, particularly the angle grinding throughout the day, was frustrating and took away from the relaxing atmosphere around the pool areas. The food in the main dining restaurant could also be improved, and the noise levels in this area made it less enjoyable to dine there. Overall: A good-value hotel with a great location, spacious rooms, excellent cleanliness and, most importantly, outstanding staff who genuinely make a difference to your stay. Although the food in the main dining area wasn’t the best and the ongoing building work was annoying, the fantastic service from the team left a very positive impression. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and hospitality — you really are a credit to the hotel!

Cool vacation in Egypt! Very nice hotel, good sea, delicious food, great drinks in the bar, comfortable rooms, cheerful animators, special thanks to Kareem, he brightened up our vacation. We had a lot of fun. We'll be back again! That's exactly the reboot that I was missing.

Very pleasant experience at this hotel, all staff are lovely and polite. The entertainment team are brilliant. Ninja was incredible! Food is not for everyone if you are fussy but lots of places near by to get some lovely food. Rooms are clean and pool is amazing

This hotel clearly used to be great, but poor maintenance and declining standards are ruining the experience. Maintenance and Hygiene — The Biggest Problem All our sinks were clogged, lights were flickering, and the electricity in our room broke down. Many areas were noticeably dirty. I never saw cleaning staff wash their hands, even after handling rubbish and then putting fresh bedsheets on beds. Some supposedly clean sheets smelled bad. Hygiene standards are unacceptable and should be management's first priority. Facilities and Internet The facilities close just as the intense daytime heat becomes bearable. Evening opening hours should be extended. Wi-Fi was below 10 Mbps, frequently disconnected, and sometimes required waiting for the login system to fix itself. VPN connections didn't work, making remote work difficult. Food There's plenty of variety, but most dishes repeat daily and nothing is exceptional. Breakfast: Pancakes and eggs are the best options, but expect long queues. Eggs are cooked in excessive oil, and chocolate topping for pancakes regularly runs out. Brunch: Very limited, practically no decent meat. Pizza: Decent, but expect waiting and queue-cutting. Juices and desserts: Artificial, diluted juices and surprisingly bland desserts. Service: Meal times are strictly enforced, food is removed promptly, and nobody manages queues. Dinner gets crowded quickly. Staff and Tipping Staff friendliness often feels transactional, with constant expectations of tips. Some employees insist on helping unnecessarily, seemingly to receive something in return. $1–2 is sufficient for small services. Overpricing and Hidden Charges Be careful with taxis, excursions, and hotel services. Prices can be wildly inflated, and hidden charges are common. Always negotiate, ideally starting at half the asking price. The hotel's spa was particularly disappointing: €150 for a short massage and body scrub using what appeared to be a shared towel. The price quickly dropped to €50, yet even €25 seemed excessive. Some staff also privately requested additional tips when the manager wasn't around. Final Thoughts The hotel has potential, but poor hygiene, neglected maintenance, mediocre food, inconvenient opening hours, and aggressive tipping and upselling seriously damage the experience. I could list more problems, but I'm not convinced management cares. At the very least, fix the hygiene.
