“We had a wonderful time at this hotel and were very pleased with the service. We especially want to mention bartender Ahmed Farouk—he's very kind, attentive, and professional. He always greets guests with a smile, quickly understands exactly what you want, and makes amazing cocktails. He's always a pleasure to talk to, creating a very warm and friendly atmosphere at the bar. You can tell he loves his job and strives to make your stay even better. Also, a big thank you to Saber from the Mediterranea restaurant for his excellent service, politeness, and attention to detail. There was also a lifeguard named Alaa Mohamed. He is a very friendly, funny and comfortable person with whom you can talk about anything and laugh. He can help if there was an accident (which he did). This was the kind of person who is remembered and from whom you did not want to part! Staff like him make every vacation truly unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!”

Ahmed Farouk is an amazing barman – very friendly, professional, and always smiling. The service was excellent and he made our time really enjoyable. Soprano Restaurant is wonderful, and Ahmed Fawzy and Saber are very respectful and welcoming.

The whole bar team is amazing, calm, and very professional. Drinks were always perfect and service was top level. Thank you Ahmed and the fantastic bar staff – you are a real credit to the hotel!

To both my first cleaner Mohammed and my second cleaner – Mahmoud Ali – thank you so much for your service by always being so friendly and happy, keeping my room clean, and the beautiful towel art, especially on my birthday. Housekeeping manager – Mohamed Omar for checking on me regularly and always making sure I had everything I needed in my room. Waiters by the pool including Ahmed Fawzy for always being so happy, polite and diligent – your service was excellent and I was barely without a drink by my side. Restauarant Manager Mohamed Fouda – for the service in Café du Roi – from the chefs who prepare the food to the waiters who serve it and those who clean up after, I could not have chosen a better place to eat or to make me feel welcome. Your level of service was exceptional and I felt completely at home. From sending fruit and beer to my room to making me special food when I was ill (for the thousandth time!) to calling me room to check I was ok you ensured that I felt looked after. It is also testament to you, I think that there is such a positive relaxed atmosphere between staff and the respect for management. Waiters –  Moustafa Mohamed, Mohamed Hamed and Dr Mohamed. From the day I came to the restaurant I was made to feel like a princess.  Moustafa made sure my table was special every day and made me feel special too. I was looked after so well with my orange juice and coffee and carrying my plates when I could not walk so well. The two Mohammed had strict instructions when Moustafa left and they ensured the level of care was carried on. I cannot thank you enough for the way you looked after me and how happy you made it for me. You made me smile so many times I cannot count. Rukhsana – Guest Services for your diligence after my injury and checking on me almost daily throughout my stay. You helped out with my daughter’s room, mosquito repellent, the medical centre and anything that you could do to make my stay better. Lifeguards – Mohamed Abdel Hadi and Ahmed Masoun – for never getting distracted and being so professional at all times and especially Ahmed for coming to the rescue of my daughter more than once with medical assistance for her nosebleeds. Mohamed Mosaad – pool. Always making sure I had a sunbed and cushion for my bad leg, keeping me entertained with your singing, changing my towel regularly and being a smiling face to greet me every morning. You made me smile every single day. Dancers/entertainment – for being on point with great choreography and putting your all into it – you had some great shows. Animation – Moataz, Dom (Saddam), Mikha (happy clappy), Svetlana – for your tireless energy especially during Ramadan. You always had a smile on your face, made sure to involve everyone and your dancing was next level. Your Zumba and Aqua Aerobics was a great workout and you kept the entertainment going in the evening entertainment.  And I will never see bingo in the same way after the Entertainment Manager Aladdin called the numbers. Waiters at evening entertainment – Ahmed Ali Ibrahim, Mohamed Abdallah and many others – thank you for your constant drinks service and remembering what I drank, and always so friendly and helpful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone at Aqua Blu who made my stay so great and sorry to the names I have missed. I cannot praise the hotel enough for how I was treated and I look forward to returning. And thank you to the many families I met who really made my holiday too – from England, Wales, Russia, Poland, Croatia and many more.

We haven't left yet. From the start, this hotel has been wonderful. Super clean, everywhere! Loads of choices for food, activities, slides and pools. So we'll staffed. The room we have is a family room and there is a pool right outside our room, and a bar across the way. The room is amazing, excellent beds and decor. I love that the bedding is changed fresh throughout the stay unlike in other places. Amenities are perfect for our needs. We really appreciate the attention to details. The children adore the VR rooms which are free to use! Some amazing machines in there! I like that you can utilise the other hotel sites in the area under the Pickalbatross company. This mean you can use a whole other large water park, not that you need to as the flames here are pretty epic. All in all, we would return!
