Pickalbatros Aqua Blu Resort

My room was at aqua park, however I have stayed at aqua blu twice. I can not recommend these hotels enough. Especially now you are able to access both hotels day and night. The water parks are incredible with more than ample lifeguards that are alert and make you feel safe with children. The staff make you feel welcome and can not do enough for you. In particular ahmed who works in the bar, with his exemplary service and how he has gone above and beyond every time we have visited. Both hotels are exceptionally clean everywhere including accommodation and pools. The food is amazing with freshly cooked meat and seafood as well as buffet options. With the newly opened fairground at aqua park at night and the vr ar arcade at aqua blu, my 5 year old was in his element. But the thing that made his holiday was the entertainment team at aqua blu. In particular jemila, my 5 year old went to kids club because he wanted to spend time with her. She also was the reason he would take part in mini disco! She made our family holiday even better and is an asset to the entertainment team. The way she and other entertainers at aqua blu looked after him was above and beyond. I have already booked to go back next year . With stunning weather, 2 waterparks, funfair, vr arcade and live entertainment this is exceptional value.and want to thank the staff for making our holiday. The only issue I have was that being able to spend time at both hotels regardless of the time was not advertised. This ment that it was at the end of my 10 night holiday that I found I could visit aqua blu at night.

We had a amazing time couldn’t have asked for more there was a animation team member jem jemilah that was so awesome with us and made us feel part of the team we had a great time as she included us in her happiness she was great hotel was great everyone was amazing will definitely be back

Amazing hotel! So much to do that you don’t really need to leave Amazing food choices in each of the four restaurants. Rooms clean and comfy beds. All the staff are so nice and welcoming, all the Animation team are excellent, especially Jemilah -she is so good with the children and always so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back next year

The best location it’s so close to everything like old market farsha … We love the atmosphere. With very good vibe with the animation team everywhere big thnx for entertainment team ❤️ The room it was aqua park view lovely 🥰 And. Everywhere clean And more then 3 restaurants with different menu Excellent value for money. The hotel offers great facilities, good service, and a pleasant overall experience for the price The reception it’s so helpful people for sur we will back asp we love aqua blu Very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are well insulated, and there was very little noise during my stay ❤️❤️❤️

Revisited for a second time following what can only be described as an amazing experience over Christmas 2025 our previous visit. We were allocated room 2106 - a bungalow overlooking an adults only pool, although the pool was allowed to be used by all the families which was ideal. Our location was peaceful with minimal noise. Staff, as before, welcoming and friendly. They are accommodating and really take care of you. Extra recognition to Mohammad (day time bar next to the big lagoon style pool) The hotel has the capacity for large numbers meaning you don't have to rush out for sun loungers - there are always plenty around each pool + water slide area. Good facilities such as toilets etc, well maintained and clean. Waterslides are great for all ages. Access to next door waterpark is always a good incentive also. Food - good quality. Great range - downside; repetitive. Every night was the same. There are 3 main restaurants to choose from so you can alternate. We ate out in Soho Square + also just out the hotel a little chicken shop (highly recommend this place!) Lunchtimes were the same - same food every day. In comparison to our previous visit, we did notice the children's bars (Goofy Bar) + also a bar next to the children's waterslide pools at the back of where kids club is situated, we're both closed. We enquired with bar staff about ice-creams for the children however, these are now only available for 2 hours on an evening. Doesn't make sense when some days are 40 degrees +, as it has been during our stay. Great atmosphere throughout the hotel, entertainment staff are engaging. Whilst Spa & excursions staff have a job to do, it does become increasingly frustrating repeating 'No thank you' - even after we had booked the spa on one occasion. Rooms cleaned daily, replenished with fresh water and fruit. Again, cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed the stay but felt just in general we didn't quite experience we did before. Sadly, this will be our last visit.
