The hotel's main building is very large and shaped like a crescent. The restaurant is located at one end of the building, while the rest consists of guest rooms. I stayed in room **2302**. It was spacious, with plenty of room for both suitcases and personal belongings. There is also a safe in the wardrobe. The balcony is large and has a drying rack for clothes. The room is not the newest, but it is in decent condition. The shower is the only part that feels quite old, while everything else is perfectly acceptable. The biggest downside of the hotel grounds is the lack of shade. There are plenty of palm trees, but they are heavily trimmed and provide almost no shade. The sun umbrellas are fixed in place and cannot be moved. A major highlight is the **saltwater pool with a jacuzzi**. It's a great place to relax and is usually much less crowded than the other pools. I also really liked the large pool near the standalone rooms on the entrance side of the hotel. The food at the hotel is good. There is always a wide variety of dishes to choose from. At lunch and dinner, food is grilled outside, and there is a station where chicken or fish is freshly cooked. They also make shawarma from time to time. There is a good selection of salads, desserts, and drinks. The main downside is that the plates are not always clean, so it's worth checking them before taking one. The staff clear the tables very quickly and do an excellent job. The à la carte restaurants are not much different from the main buffet restaurant, so I don't think they are worth paying extra for. There was some construction work during my stay (part of the beach was being renovated, and there was construction near the tent area). The noise wasn't much of a problem, but the construction workers often stared at women in a very uncomfortable and disrespectful way. The Wi-Fi works strangely. When it is connected, it works fine, but it can suddenly disconnect and then refuse to reconnect. For example, it might work perfectly in your room, but after going to the restaurant it stops connecting, even though the network is still visible. Sometimes it stops working in the room but still works near the reception. This happened many times during my stay. During the last couple of days, the internet became extremely unreliable. There is also a small water park at the neighboring hotel, and the hotel provides a free shuttle there. It's a great place with a couple of fun water slides, and there's even a lift to take you up to the slides.

I don't usually write reviews, but after spending the most amazing week at Pickalbatros Golf Beach Resort in Sharm El Sheikh (21st–28th June 2026), I felt compelled to share our experience. There were seven of us travelling together – myself, my wife, our son, and my wife's brother with his family – and every single one of us had a fantastic holiday. The rooms were extremely spacious, clean and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, which was absolutely essential with temperatures exceeding 35°C every day. Housekeeping did a wonderful job throughout our stay, and the rooms were impeccably cleaned each day. There is so much to do both within the resort and in the surrounding area. Within the resort itself, we loved the variety of swimming pools, especially the lazy river, which takes around 20 minutes to complete a full circuit – an absolute highlight for all of us! We also enjoyed the pool volleyball, foam parties, and the many bars dotted around the resort where you could stop for a refreshing cold drink. The food was outstanding. The à la carte restaurants served delicious meals and provided plenty of variety throughout the week. Another unexpected highlight was the complimentary one-hour golf lesson at the spectacular golf course next to the resort. Even if you're not a golfer, it's great fun for the whole family and well worth trying. Guests also have access to the nearby sister hotel's aquapark, with complimentary transport provided. The journey takes only five minutes, and we loved being able to enjoy the water slides, pools and bars there as well. The sea was simply stunning. Snorkelling was incredible, with countless varieties of colourful fish swimming right alongside you. I would definitely recommend bringing a mask or goggles so you can fully appreciate the underwater world. We also ventured outside the resort a few times. We visited SOHO Square and the Old Market for shopping, with reasonably priced taxis arranged by the hotel. One of our favourite excursions was a trip on a glass-bottom boat to view the coral reefs, combined with a speedboat ride. On the way back, each of us even got a chance to sit behind the wheel and steer the speedboat for a while, which made the experience even more memorable. Five members of our family also went on a sunrise excursion that included driving buggies, riding quad bikes and a camel ride through the desert. My wife and I decided to give this one a miss due to the 4:30am departure, but they all had an incredible time and the photos were absolutely amazing. We also treated ourselves to some relaxation in the on-site spa, opting for the full Turkish Hammam and massage experience. I enjoyed it so much that I went back for a second treatment before we left! Above all, though, what made this holiday so memorable was the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, attentive and genuinely committed to making sure guests had a wonderful stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. However, there are three individuals who truly stood out and helped make this the best holiday our family has ever taken. Mohamed from the Sunset Bar was absolutely brilliant. He was constantly smiling, engaging and attentive. Whenever he noticed your drink was running low, he would appear with a top-up before you even had to ask. He was fantastic with the children too, even playing catch with them between the bar and the pool, which brought so much laughter and fun to our days. Eid, who worked at the bar next to the food court and entertainment area (sadly I can't remember the bar's name), was incredible from the first day to the last. We chose sunbeds that were probably the furthest possible distance from where he was serving drinks, but that never stopped him. He was constantly walking up and down ensuring our drinks were replenished, always with the biggest smile on his face. Every member of our family agrees that we will genuinely miss seeing him, as he made our relaxation time feel truly special. Finally, I have to mention Mr Diaa, the Front Office Manager. He went above and beyond anything we could have expected to make our stay as memorable as possible. His kindness, professionalism and genuine care created memories that our family will cherish forever. You know what you did, Mr Diaa, and we are incredibly grateful for everything. Your efforts made a lasting impression on us all. Overall, this was without question one of the best holidays we have ever experienced. The accommodation, facilities, food, entertainment, excursions and, most importantly, the people all combined to create an unforgettable family holiday. Thank you, Pickalbatros Golf Beach Resort. We will be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
