This hotel WILL be lovely ……. Stayed for 7 nights first week in March, had read posts on TA and FB sharing pictures of works being carried out, so contacted easyJet holidays who told us it was maintenance works and our holiday would not be affected (this is an issue I am taking up with easyJet but they are ignoring my emails at present!) When we checked in, they checked us in to the bungalows around the back of the complex ….. big rooms, very dated, but clean and comfortable rooms, there were 8 of us so 4 rooms and every room the baths leaked so the floor was like a swimming pool every time we showered. Hairdryer on wall in bathroom, safe and fridge, kettle. Overlooking the side pool so a nice view. These rooms are being upgraded this year we were told. We had booked rooms in the main hotel but in daylight we realised why we weren’t in there., lots of guests were though. The whole pool area at the front of the hotel was a building site, diggers, tractors the lot, sectioned off with white hoarding and every pool was empty and being retitled, refurbed, this wasn’t general maintenance this was a rebuild. So all pools/slides were cut off and out of use. As we were walking round hotel a guy from the spa asked us if we would like a treatment. He had to take us through the building site to get there. The spa had been open 3 days and it was stunning. 7 out of 8 of us had treatments and they were all lovely. Restaurants - main buffet, good choice of food, staff were lovely and service in there was excellent. Have outside dining tables which were by the stage so was excellent way to watch entertainment after evening meal without having to rush meal and make to another part of the hotel. Have been to many all inclusives and this was the best layout I’ve experienced. À la carte restaurant - Lebanese was lovely, Italian was awful (service and food) as was the fish restaurant, oriental was good too not what we were expecting but very enjoyable. Drinks were ok, not amazing but we were all happy and we drink, a lot! Waiter service round pool which was good. We chose this hotel over the sister hotel because of the lazy river and the amount of pools, so we chose a dated hotel over a modern hotel but that backfired, as it was a building site at the front. I was videoing the works and was told aggressively by a worker to delete the video (I didn’t). We ate in the fish restaurant whilst listening to them welding, we made a joke and said it was our own private fire work display. Even eating in the buffet we could hear the works being done til 10pm. This hotel will be lovely when the works are finished, it’s a major refit and they’ve started on some of the pool view rooms which are looking lovely. The staff are excellent, friendly, it’s not their fault the place is being refurbed but I do blame easyJet for not informing us when we booked 6 weeks prior to departure and then when I asked they told me it was general maintenance works. Yes the shop is expensive but it’s a hotel shop, get a cab to town if you would prefer. Pool staff and guys at the bar were all great as were the animation team. The hotel is 95% Russian guests at the moment. Jet2 are promoting for 2027 so think will be more English and the hotel will be completely renovated by then so I would in the future recommend this hotel. Such a shame the works were so extensive for our trip. The boys enjoyed the golf which was the reason we booked this resort. A few nights they sprayed the resort with mozzy spray, wow, what a shock that was. The noise, the smoke the smell early evening, but it worked as never got bitten. Beach area, is a jetty which you have to climb down to get in the sea, not for people unsteady on their feet no sandy beach - we never spent time there as we are pool people. All in all we made the best of a bad situation which EasyJet should never have put us in, the hotel tried to appease us and they wanted us to sign a disclaimer which we refused, disgraceful of easyJet sadly!
last week i was in Egypt (sharm el sheikh) and spent 8 days in this lovely hotel. the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is just a happy place, i miss it already. the animation team were so fun and kept me and my sister engaged the whole week! the place is very clean and well looked after with lovely food, no bad comments from me🫶🏼🫶🏼
We had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is beautiful, it has a private beach with great snorkeling. Lots of bars and restaurants. The restaurants you could book were really good and the portions very generous. The pool was fun during the days with plenty of activities going on and the entertainment team made the days really fun and inclusive. The same for the evenings. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure we gad a great time. My children aged 10 and 14 absolutely loved it and were not once bored. The rooms are clean and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming 🙏 special thanks to Marko and Gamal who made the trip especially fun!
The food is delicious and so many options. Many activities and sport programs. Stuff is friendly and kindless. Main pool is heated and warm . I liked.
We have just returned from Golf Beach Resort and overall had a mixed experience. Check-in was smooth — we arrived early and were immediately given a room in the main building, which we appreciated. However, there are renovated and non-renovated rooms, and unfortunately we were placed in an older one (room 2135), located directly above the restaurant. The room was spacious and reasonably comfortable, but very outdated. The biggest downside was the location — constant grill smoke coming into the room and loud music until late at night. Sleeping was difficult. Another issue is the hotel atmosphere. Around 95% of guests are Russian, and many were loud, drinking heavily and disturbing others. One night, guests were making noise under our balcony until 3 AM, and despite multiple calls to reception, no action was taken. The air conditioning in our room did not work at all — only warm air. We reported this several times, but it was never properly fixed. This was especially uncomfortable as I had to work remotely during the stay. Housekeeping was good, and food in the main restaurant was decent, with friendly chefs. However, service from waiters was poor — tables were not reset, and it was difficult to find a clean table during late meals. Also, food was removed earlier than the stated dining hours. The Lebanese à la carte restaurant was excellent — the best part of the hotel. The Italian restaurant, however, was disappointing in both food and service. The beach is shared with another hotel but has enough sunbeds. However, guests are asked to leave quite early (around 16:40), which was unexpected. Pools were open and renovation works did not disturb too much. Animation and evening shows take place near the restaurant, which is convenient. Special thanks to Alona from guest relations — very helpful and professional. Overall, the hotel has potential, but due to service issues and poor problem resolution, it did not meet expectations and was the least enjoyable hotel compared to others in the same price range in Sharm El Sheikh.
