Pickalbatros Golf Beach Resort

Just returned from a week's family holiday at the hotel. Overall a very good experience LOCATION Found the location perfect..10mins from the airport but no plane noise. 10 mins from Naama Bay and Soho Square STAFF... All the staff were very friendly and worked incredibly hard to make the holiday enjoyable. Special mention to Saad the life guard and Mahmood the manager at the pool bar. ROOMS... My room was 3203 which was a great location opposite the quiet pool. It was very large and clean. Decor is dated but plenty of storage. Small mini fridge with Coke and Fanta. Lots of bottle water supplied, remember to use this to brush your teeth. Kettle and coffee supplied. Bathroom is huge and serviceable but in need of major refurbishment. Pleased to see a bath , but unfortunately no plug! Toiletries are provided. My daughter had bath robes and slippers, I didn't. POOLS... The pools are brilliant, need a few repairs in places but are large and clean. Particularly liked the lazy river. We used both the main pool which is lively and the quieter pool , both had plenty of sunbeds which were well spread out and didn't need reserving at a ridiculous hour! FOOD... Food is typical all inclusive but generally plenty of choice. Always lots of fresh fruit and salads. Omelettes cooked to order for breakfast every day The main restaurant feels like a canteen so nicer to eat outside. Pool bar has decent snacks for lunch. Visited the " a la carte" Italian and it was very disappointing...the normal restaurant was better. Well worth paying the £15 for the 4 courses and wine in the Japanese though. ANIMATION... The team were friendly and organised a variety of activities, day and night, invited you to join in but weren't pushy. Particularly liked the afternoon pool parties The Spa was also good DRINKS... In my opinion the quality and choice of drinks is the worse thing about the hotel. Soft drinks are branded but very little choice in alcoholic drinks. Very basic options of spirits. We are not big drinkers of alcohol but do like a nice cocktail on holiday and these were a major disappointment. The main lobby bar is weird...literally like waiting in reception. The Irish pub allows smoking so not child friendly. Relocating the main bar to provide a better atmosphere and extending the drinks options would improve the hotel experience massively Most visitors are Russian so the English spoken is not always as good as other countries but it wasn't a problem The rate for currency is much better when you are there than in the UK

This hotel is a little gem the room clean tidy and spacious the hotel staff are amazing especially Sheriff and Ahmed the hotel lobby waiters and the reception and the manager that arranged for a cake and the staff to come out to sing happy birthday to wife who turn 60 why we out there and the restaurant chef and staff who help as my wife suffered from coeliac and was really great would definitely recommend this hotel the only downside is the location as there not much around but you can you in drive that is cheap way to get around and we you falcon for are trips that was great you can find them on Facebook

Had a really great experience at Pakalbartos! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and the service was excellent. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in Sharm El Sheikh. Would happily come back again

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was great. The entertainment was especially good and made our stay even more enjoyable. There was a great variety of activities and shows, and the entertainment team were friendly, energetic, and did a fantastic job keeping everyone entertained. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great entertainment and a fun atmosphere.

The best vacation in my life! Level of animation is insane. Everyday parties, dances, music. All crew is funny, kind, friendly and helpful. Must visit!
