Rixos Radamis Sharm El Sheikh

We are currently staying at Rixos Radamis. We came here only because we stayed at Rixos Premium Seagate a few months ago and were hugely impressed. We expected a similar standard, but unfortunately we are very disappointed. I don't usually leave negative reviews, and my aim is not to badmouth the hotel. It's simply that if I had known what it would be like, I might have chosen Seagate, and someone else may be facing the same choice. The biggest problem is the pools. The water is cold, in my estimate around 24–26°C, and we couldn't find a single pool where you can sit and actually enjoy yourself. It's telling that very few people use them. Young children don't get much pleasure from swimming here either. It can be done better: at Seagate in March, the water in at least one pool was reasonably pleasant, and last year, at a similar time of year, we stayed at Pickalbatros in Marsa Alam, where the water in the heated pools was around 31°C. Rixy Town also leaves a lot to be desired. You have to sign up for everything, and then it turns out the activity lasts 5 minutes. We signed our daughter up for the car track, an activity that was supposed to last 10–15 minutes. We waited with her for two hours, and she got just two laps in the car. The rope bridge is only open from 8 pm to 10 pm. Other activities have no places available, even though there is little demand or the children who signed up don't show up. Even if a child just wants to do some drawing, you have to reserve a spot several days in advance. Superior rooms are really small for a family of 2+2, so if you do decide on this hotel, it's better to choose a larger room. The wardrobe is small, so most of your things end up lying out in the open, which doesn't look great on a longer stay. In the Tirana section, the furnishings are already showing their age. The service isn't bad, but it is noticeably weaker than at Premium Seagate, even though the hotel isn't very full. The restaurants and bars run out of glasses because they are dirty, and it's better to make your own coffee, because if you order it to your table you probably won't get it. The property itself and its cleanliness also leave a lot to be desired. In my opinion, this hotel is on a par with Egyptian hotels that cost half the price. There is one more important thing. Seagate had a main restaurant where you could eat whatever you wanted at any time of day. This isn't about eating all day or getting the absolute most out of all-inclusive. It's about freedom. I might eat only twice a day, but I want to do it when it suits me, not when a restaurant happens to be open. Nobody there was ever in a hurry. If you came at 11 am, nobody ushered you out of breakfast. If you wanted to eat at 5:30 pm, the restaurant was also open, with a wide choice. I thought this was how it worked at every Rixos, because I had read that standards are maintained across the chain, but here it is different. The nature, gardens, decorations and interiors are fine, the staff are friendly and the shuttle buses run regularly. But that is standard for any Egyptian hotel that maintains a decent level, so it doesn't justify a price twice as high as most other properties, especially when you are travelling with young children.

Disappointed with the Rixos Standard – A Beautiful Hotel, but Service Needs Improvement The hotel itself is beautiful, and the facilities are impressive. However, unfortunately, the overall service quality does not meet the standards expected from an international brand like Rixos. The food quality was a major disappointment. Chicken dishes, meat dishes, rice and desserts were far below expectations. Honestly, I expected a much higher standard from a Rixos hotel. Housekeeping was also disappointing. Even after my room was cleaned today, the bathroom and sink were still dirty, and the floors had not been properly swept. Basic cleanliness and hygiene should never be overlooked in a hotel of this category. Communication and guest services were another major problem. Calls regarding requests and problems were either answered very late or did not receive proper follow-up. Guests should not have to repeatedly contact the hotel to get basic issues resolved. I would like to acknowledge that the children’s animation team was very good and did a great job with the kids. In particular, I would like to give special thanks to Ali, the Animation Manager, for his kindness, professionalism and excellent attention to the children. He truly deserves recognition. Thank you, Ali! Unfortunately, the positive experience with the animation team was not reflected in other departments. I also work in the tourism industry in Antalya, Turkey, at Aska Lara Resort Hotel, so I understand the importance of guest satisfaction and service quality. My criticism comes from the expectations I have of the Rixos brand. A beautiful hotel alone is not enough. Food quality, cleanliness, communication and guest services must all meet the same high standards. I sincerely hope the management takes these comments seriously and makes the necessary improvements. Rixos is a prestigious brand, and guests deserve a service experience that reflects its reputation.

Came to the aqua park mid week and it wasn’t too busy managed to get on all the rides and was a good part of the hotel. Elsayed and Modather are top lifeguards and very smiley and happy. Good lads! Would come again
