Rixos Sharm El Sheikh

I spent four wonderful days at this hotel. The entertainment, shows, and DJ performances were excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the transfer drivers and Ms. Shahd A. Sadek, who works in the main restaurant and is truly dedicated to her job. However, when I compare it with the standards in Turkey and Northern Cyprus, I found the quality of the food and beverages to be quite disappointing and below average. If you don't mind eating chicken shawarma every day, then this might be the right place for you and are quite likely to experience stomach problems or diarrhea. In addition, this is not really a beach holiday destination, as the shoreline is not suitable for swimming in the sea.

First of all this hotel is really good, not excellent. We stayed in a junior suite block 11 September 2026. The suite was re rally nice and large, could do with a little bit of tlc in bits but kept spotlessly clean, towels changed daily sheets changed weekly. The resort, we are in our 60's so a younger vibe but we really enjoyed our time around the lagoon pool and the evening bands and DJ sets. Restaurants were good, our favourite being the BBQ the Mangal. Brazilian, not so good but perhaps it was an off night since everyone else thought it was really good. The Salt restaurant at the beach is a hit or a miss, food was ok at best. Main buffet has a lot of choice but as with all buffets very repetitive. Pasta at lunch was excellent. Staff, they all do their very best to ensure you have a great stay. A big shout out to the grounds maintenance teams, you do a great job. We went about trip with Carmel and Pyramid tours, highly recommend them zand the trip was excellent. The only negatives about the resort are, some arrogant nationalities go here, nothing the hotel can do but they scream for service with little tipping, try and will jump the queue , just ignorant However the nar staff and others did normally attempt to ignore them. We also made one complaint about the Brazilian restaurant, we never had a follow up which is poor Jen e the reason this review is for star. Would we go back, yes for sure, as I say the Rixos has a lot going for it...keep up the good work, will be back.

A Hotel We Will Definitely Return To! Everything about this hotel is wonderful – the beautifully maintained grounds, the swimming pools, the beachfront, and the rooms are all comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well looked after. The atmosphere is incredibly warm, welcoming, and homely. The hotel staff are professional, attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. They make you feel like part of one big family! The food is of excellent quality – always fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared! We would especially like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the housekeeping team of Building 8 for their exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine warmth. Absolutely outstanding! A huge thank you also goes to the entire main pool team! It is such a pleasure to relax in such a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere! A special mention goes to the pool manager, Mohamed Ahmed, who truly cares about both the well-being of his team and the comfort and happiness of every guest. His dedication and kindness make a real difference! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay so special and memorable! We can’t wait to come back!
