Steigenberger Alcazar

Wow. We had the most amazing stay. We had a concern over the water but they filter the water here so we were able to enjoy ice in our drinks and eat salads, veg and fruit all week. Important for a vegetarian. We’d never gone all inclusive before but it just made everything so much better. Great meals in their range of top restaurants and lunch on the days we wanted it. Drinks and snacks were always available around the pool as well. The staff were all so polite, friendly and helpful. The lifeguards Ahmed and Ahmed at the adult pool were brilliant setting up our sunbeds, keeping us cool, cleaning our sunglasses, and Khaled kept the drinks coming round the pool. Mohammed ensured our room was spotless and we had everything we needed every day, he also left us a lovely goodbye message. They have another chap called Ahmed who goes around the restaurants every night lighting small oil burners that help keep the bugs at bay. He even put a couple directly under our table, we must look like prime targets! But it worked the only bite I received all week was late at night on our balcony. The staff at breakfast were all so friendly and welcoming and Mohammed cooked fantastic omelettes, sometimes having 6 on the go at the same time. Finally Youssef kept me in trim at the gym working with me every day meaning despite eating like a king I went home a similar shape to that which I arrived. We will definitely be back

Fantastic hotel! The entertainment team hassan, katya, med without ofcourse forgetting the DJ were extremely accommodating. They contributed massively to our stay and we hope we get to see them again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Alcazar. The hotel was spotless, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding throughout our holiday. A special thank you to Kareem Taha from the golf car service, who truly made our holiday even better with his kindness and professionalism. Thanks also to Emad Soleman, Karlos, and Samuel from the restaurant for their great service and friendly attitude. We would also like to thank Bar Manager Galal and Sabreen from Guest Relations for always being helpful and welcoming. A fantastic team that made our stay memorable. We will definitely be back!

excellent everything yet again and my wife and I will be returning for a third visit in October Thankyou especially to Mohammad 'the hairdresser'. The only issue I will look out for and I will alter my return date accordingly....if the hotel have any company s using them a company called 'Cera' was there for our entire last stay and spolit the other wise great and stay. they took over queue at meal times , took over a pool occasionally . Took over evening drinks areas .....

Stayed here with my wife for a friend’s 50th birthday from June 10-14. The hotel is a beautiful hotel. Booked a pool view via booking.com 6 months ahead but was given a partial view. Was given other options but rooms were smaller. The one with the same size and view had a musky smell. Stayed reluctantly in the original room. Most of the staff were welcoming except the head chef who refused to make an omelette with real eggs. He actually gave my wife and I the spatula to make the omelette ourselves. Very hostile. We did not come for breakfast after that. It’s the only Ultra All Inclusive hotel I have been that the drinks in mini bar are NOT complimentary.
