Steigenberger Alcazar

Sigur. Aș formula review-ul natural, pozitiv, dar fără să pară exagerat: We stayed at Steigenberger Alcazar for one week with our family, and overall, we had a very good experience. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and good quality. One of the things we really enjoyed was the choice of restaurants: there are 6 à la carte restaurants included in the all-inclusive package, while another restaurant is available for an additional charge. The entire resort looks beautiful and is very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. The only minor downside is the beach, as the water is quite shallow. However, there is a pontoon where you can access deeper water and go snorkeling for free. You can see beautiful corals and plenty of fish, which was definitely a highlight. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return to Steigenberger Alcazar.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was great. The food was good and there were plenty of activities to enjoy. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would be happy to come back again.

We’ve just returned from our first time at the Steigenberger, and we can honestly say we’ll definitely be back! 🤩 A very special mention to Mohamed Shaaban in the Bar Lobby, who truly made our stay extra special. From the moment we arrived, he was so warm, friendly and attentive, always making us feel welcome and completely at home. His attention to detail was amazing, he remembered our favourite drinks from the very first day and always went the extra mile to make sure we were happy, his genuine kindness made such a difference. We enjoyed spending our evenings in the bar so much that we didn’t even feel the need to go elsewhere. Mohamed created such a lovely atmosphere and was a big part of why our holiday was so memorable. We really hope to see him again soon! ❤️

The hotel is like a palace, it is a beautiful place and the staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating. The guests of middle eastern origins not so much, I guess just a different culture, that came across as arrogance and unfriendly especially if you held doors open without a thankyou and barge in front of you whilst queueing. The food was not particularly to my liking though there was always something to choose from, well presented but strange, and everything I ventured with was not really my taste. I gave up on ice after day two, I will let you hazard a guess why. The shops across the road fooled my wife into paying over £200 for a T-Shirt and a few gifts using the exchange rate to confuse her, but it was rectified after a strong conversation with the shop 'manager' . We could always get a sunbed around the largest pool, even up to midday as they were not being hogged by early towel placers. we didnt try many of the restaurants, as felt with the buffet you could see what you were getting before choosing it. The salad seemed a bit dried out, and the breakfast was the same every day, as was the pool playlist of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, day in day out same songs. Wifi excellent everywhere even in the rooms, and the aircon in the room was a godsend with 33 degrees night time temperatures. The mini (money) bar was chargeable though, which for an all-inclusive was a bit naughty, We ended up getting free cans of pop from the bar and taking them to the room rather than paying the 3 Euros for the same can in the fridge. There was a safe in the room, Towels for the pool were delivered the night before, though we had to remind reception a couple of times, pretty much every day someone would come to us at the pool, and ask how everything was and for our room number, so they were always checking which is good, We didn't bother with the evening entertainment so no views on that, but we did go and see the pyramids which is a must whilst there, and we booked a quad bike tour from the guys who come around the pool which was also great. We did not see 1 cloud on the 11 days we were there, pure blue skies all day long. Pool was nice and warm, enough to cool, but not give a shock when entering....

We had a lovely experience for our 58th wedding anniversary. The food was very good in all the restaurants. Rooms were spacious and balconies were a good size. Pools and beach were lovely and grounds were keept beautiful. The staff were all amazing everyone of them asking everyday if you were enjoying your stay and if you needed anything. They would come around with drinks ,ice cream, crisps, fruit on sticks, cool towels, spray you with cold rose water. Animation team would keep you up to date with activities aqua gym was our favourite.
