Sunrise Remal Beach

What an absolutely amazing time weve had, honestly one of the best hotels weve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family by the lovely shebl . All the way down from the general manager to the cleaners these guys literally cannot do enough for you. Khalid at breakfast is one of the nicest guys ever , along with all the boys at the main restaurant they literally bend over backwards. Mohammed and gamal , omar , little mohammed at the a la cartes , in fact all of them are just brilliant. I cant remember all their names but the staff really do make this hotel the gem it is. The food is fabulous and im very fussy . The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a perfect stay . The guys at the pool make sure you are seated exactly where you want to be , the pool itself is cool and refreshing , slightly heated so perfect when its hot to get im and cool off, alaa at the pool bar makes great iced coffee and milkshakes. The only negative is the music from the entertainment team, they are nice enough but need to remember its not a sleazy nightclub its a family resort and people dont want to listen to it .. well not at the volume they play it at . All in all we've had a brilliant time and we will most definitely be back. Its the sort of place you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend anyway.

We stayed at Sunrise Ramel Resort from 29th January to 12th February, and this was our second visit—and honestly, it didn’t disappoint. On arrival, we were initially given a room a bit further from the pool than we’d have liked, but the staff were brilliant about it and quickly moved us to a room right by the pool area, which made a huge difference to our stay. The food here is genuinely some of the best you’ll find in Egypt. There’s loads of variety, plenty of choice, and the additional free restaurants within the hotel are all really good. Everything felt fresh and consistently well prepared. The pool area was fantastic—easy access to the pool bar, relaxed atmosphere, and all one depth which made it really enjoyable and safe to just chill all day. The staff really are what make this place stand out. Amir was exceptional—he looked after us every single day, having our sunbeds and towels ready before we even reached the pool. That level of care made mornings effortless. Mohamed and the rest of the pool staff were also brilliant, always friendly and attentive. Our room cleaner was excellent as well—always polite, professional, and kept everything spotless (we’re really sorry we don’t remember your name, but your work didn’t go unnoticed). A special mention to Sayed, who was an outstanding chef. He made us chicken soup daily for both lunch and dinner, and it genuinely became something we looked forward to every day. Emad and Seb, the managers, also deserve credit for how smoothly everything runs. They’re always visible, approachable, and ready to help with anything you need. That attitude runs through all the staff—they genuinely want to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, and it really shows. Overall, a fantastic stay once again. Sorry for the late review, but it was absolutely worth sharing.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location was very convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Our entertainment team made our stay so smooth and felt like a family. Special thank to Spicy, the dynamic spirit of the hotel , you made our stay so fun and unforgettable ❤️ I would like to thank the whole hotel team , our chef Ramadan , Hassan they made the best food 😋 The front desk personnel, Special thanks ..you made our stay unforgettable.. the biggest thank is for Mr. Mina how received us with a big heart .. We can't wait to our next vacation in the same hotel 🙌

What an amazing hotel. Food outstanding plenty of meat, veg and pizza choices. Room was spacious and cleaned every day with clean towels daily. The cleaner worked very hard. Entertainment was very good with the amphitheatre had children's hour then shows for older people. The lobby bar provided wonderful shows with slow music performers and a variety of shows also. Now for the special call outs to Mohamed and Ayaa who run the island bar by the swim up pool , but they also bring drinks to your sunbeds ,where they seem to memorise your drinks. There are special dining restaurants , namely an Indian ( brilliant) Mediterranean ( great ) and a Mexican ( excellent ), where you can reserve any of these throughout your stay. Again the service was excellent and these waiters ensure your experience is as good as it gets anywhere. The entertainment team work hard and active participation by the guests is a must. The beach which is 300m down the road was a little disappointing as it was man-made and rocky with sun parasols so close to one another , the sun was blocked out. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We have recently returned from this hotel. We had a fabulous time, however I do feel that this hotel could be improved. On arrival we were told that we had been upgraded. Our room although extremely spacious,was at the back of the hotel overlooking some cordoned off derelict building and a cement mixer! Yes , could have requested to be moved but as room was so spacious we felt that would have been another upheavel after long journey. Staff were amazing. Special shout to Mostafa who works the beach bar. His service and nature was impeccable. He is such a lovely guy and makes the best cocktails.A valued asset to the hotel team. Another disappointment was that all the themed restaurants were booked up even though we tried to book on our first day. However, we met with another couple who invited us along to the indian restaurant on our last evening. So glad we had this opportunity as food was lovely. The main buffet restaurant for me was "hit and miss". There are staff standing with a smile as you enter. Perhaps it would be a good idea that guests are encouraged to use hand sanitiser situated outside before entering to maintain good hand hygiene. Some door handles to eat outside were broken and there appeard to be a lack of staff everytime we visited. It was like a "glorified work canteen" in my experience. We were constantly asking for missing culery etc and as for having drinks served at the table , well this was very rare. Some staff were lovely. Special shout to Mario in cosmetic shop, Natalie in beauty. They were all fab. Hotel and grounds superb and well maintained. Guys who sold us boat trip on the beach- Blue Lagoon were fantastic. Dont forget Tal Avenue every Thu and Sun, courtesy of sunrise hotels is a wonderful experience. Live music, street food, dancing etc. all free. Overall a good holiday and a good time.
