Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh All Inclusive Collection

First visit to Swissotel. We arrived late in the evening and were offered food, but declined. We also had a free room upgrade which was lovely. A buggy took us to the room, which had an additional single bed, a lounge seating area and was overlooking the adults only pool which was lovely. The room had plenty of coat hangers and storage space for clothes and the usual fridge, safe, TV and air con Slippers and bathrobes . The fridge was re stocked daily with water, juice and beer too. The bathroom had a huge shower, although the shower tray filled up when in use and was slow to drain. (The cleaner gave us a squeezy mop to assist with the draining) The room was also in a quieter area which was lovely. We also had an issue with the safe battery. After a couple of calls they came and bought a new safe. Food in the main buffet is plentiful, although sometimes a bit of a scramble to get tables. All the staff in the restaurants were lovely and so helpful, couldn’t fault them. There was beef, chicken or lamb every day and the meet was cooked beautifully. The warmers kept the dishes hot too in most cases. Only real area for improvement was the egg station in a morning. The chef broke most of the eggs and they were often under cooked. The lady on the ‘melon’ station one evening even carved a heart shaped melon for us which was lovely. There is also a Movenpick ice cream area (delicious) and a doughnut station (only 3 standard donuts are free the rest have a small cost) Booking the a la carte's proved difficult. We were told to go the day before but then were noted that they were ‘full’. (which wasn’t the case when going to view) We tried several times for the Casablanca and each time were declined. (despite another couple telling us they booked for each night of their holiday at a different restaurant when they initially arrived !). Unfortunately the ladies as guest relations were not helpful, which is a shame as all other staff were lovely. We did eventually get to visit the one on the beach and the Brazilian which were both lovely. The entertainment staff work really hard and the shows at night are good. They also then have a roof top ‘after party’ with music etc for anyone who wants to stay up late. The lady playing the violin was amazing too. There were always plenty of sunbeds, although we stayed at the adult only area pool ( these beds have foam mattresses on them so more comfy) There are fridges by the pools stocked with water, soft drinks and beer so you can just help yourself. The bar man at the main pool was also lovely and waved and spoke to us every time we walked past. He also made us a couple of lovely cocktails. The grounds are beautifully laid out and are constantly being maintained. The beach and adult area is across the main road. Buggies from the front of reception take you there. The beach area was quite small and pretty packed most days, although it did go a little quieter in the afternoons. The sea was warm and you could go quite far out and still only be waist high. There are quite a few rocks however to be careful of. The adults only section is currently being refurbished and building works are taking place. We were told that additional rooms are being added to the hotel too and works will be around 12 to 18 months in total. However this does not impact on the main area of the hotel. Late checkouts are available. Again we were given differing information by Guest Relations as to how and when to book. We did eventually secure a late check out after three attempts. Cost is $50 up to 4pm and $100 for up to 6pm Our Tui pick up was 30 mins late so we were getting a little worried. It took us just over 1 hour and 10 mins to get through to the departure lounge (and this was not at a very busy time) They also do a further random searches of hold bags when you get to the departure area for the flight too. Immigration cards need to be completed on arrival and we had to complete again on departure too. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday at a great hotel with some amazing staff. Thank you to all the staff who were friendly, polite and helpful to us. Would definitely recommend.

Nana is, without a doubt, the best massage therapist at Purovel Spa! A true professional with exceptional skills, great attention to detail, and genuine care for her guests. An outstanding relaxation experience that I highly recommend!

Currently in our second week at Swissotel and having an excellent holiday. Our room, 2904, overlooks the quiet pool, where we sit everyday. I would like to compliment a couple of staff in particular. Firstly Ahmed, the lifeguard at the quiet pool. He is so much more than a lifeguard, he is polite and nothing is too much trouble, customer service at its best each and every day that we’ve been here. Thank you Ahmed for making our holiday so enjoyable. I would like to also like to compliment Mariam, from customer services. She is a delightful young lady and has been of great assistance during our stay to date. She has regularly kept in touch to ensure our holiday and experience of the hotel is as expected. Thank you Mariam for making our holiday so enjoyable.

Our third visit and it only improves on each stay. We arrived early, yet huge smiles and a lovely reception. We had been allocated our favourite room (adults side) and felt back at home straightaway. This time we immediately saw new additions to the hotel facilities. Our only minor concern last time (may) was the buffet. Well now they have added 2 new seating areas, air conditioned and 1 non smoking. Making it more pleasant. The quality of buffet had also improved. Ibrahim in the main restaurant you are ace and thank you for making sure we always had a table etc. Also at the adult side they introduced a menu to order from after 11pm which was certainly fabulous for a ‘drunken burger’. Our favourite evening was when we had an invite to the soft opening of a new à la carte the Moroccan (Casablanca). The food, ambience & thought that went into this was huge. A massive thank you to the saxophone Weverton player - you made my night. Also we noticed more parties and things happening during the day. Another fabulous afternoon was the St Tropaz party. Again the atmosphere and hospitality was amazing. The animation team - Belal, Amari & Oleg are top tier and again welcoming and always checked in with us. DJ Wessan & DJ Assel certainly got the party started in the sky lounge. Our room was beautiful and kept in immaculate condition by Hossam. Tipsy scoops is brilliant for an ice cream cocktail served & crafted by the beautiful Asmaa. All the staff at the adult side restaurant thank you for looking after us -especially the managers Mahmoud & Mohamed who always made sure we were ok. Aya, Nada & Monica - as always thank you for everything pre and during our stay. You really are the best guest relations team and we really appreciate you. Ziad in the entertainment bar, you recognised us and made our nights with your amazing service. The à la cartes were lovely, the lady called Sarah who checked you in and fully helped when busy was so great and friendly. The Indian was brilliant and very tasty - we already can’t wait to come back. The beach food court- beach bar guys you were all fabulous and made us feel so special. Security guys, golf cart drivers, gardeners & cleaners - you guys are amazing and do a brilliant job. I’ve probably missed loads of people out but honestly team Swiss you do a fantastic job and we already missing you & on countdown to our next visit. Love the Henshall duo ❤️❤️
