Tropitel Dahab Oasis

I had high expectations for this holiday, but sadly been left sad, angry, unwanted and unwelcomed. Witnessed street ( hotel site) dogs being denied even water ( we got a container and this was even emptied and removed) to top of this holiday we had cockroaches(we know it’s a desert and a risk) and even witness security chasing dogs even off site and throwing rocks at them. We were watched like hawks to ensure we didn’t fed the dogs food, and despite trying to talk with management they saw the dogs as vermin they want to irradiate at any cost. I’ve been reduced to tears at the whole experience, we were made to feel like we were unwelcome… the only redeeming feature was the shop staff, the lovely receptionist and our cleaner. We were never offered a drink at meal times despite everyone else being offered and only when getting up to go get our own was we sometime intercepted and offered to walk our drinks back. We have been to Egypt 15 times and this has honestly been the worst experience….. I will not be returning to this hotel.

We are honeymooners, and overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, and the place itself is really nice, with a lovely atmosphere. However, I do have some comments regarding the hospitality and staff presentation. I believe the staff needs to be more professional and representative of the hotel’s standard. The uniforms should be unified, clean, and properly ironed. Unfortunately, we noticed that some staff members were wearing clothes that were torn or visibly repaired, while others were not wearing clean or well-presented clothes. This really affects the overall impression of the hotel. Also, since the hotel already welcomes many international guests, I strongly recommend having at least one or more staff members who can communicate confidently and professionally in English with guests. Finally, I believe the hotel could offer more special privileges or complimentary touches for honeymooners, as many other hotels do. Even small gestures can make the honeymoon experience feel much more special and memorable. Overall, we really liked the location and the place itself, but improving the staff presentation, hospitality, and honeymooner experience would make a big difference.

The atmosphere is very good, and room is big and always clean. The people are very kind and helpful. Overall it was a very good stay in TROPETEL DAHAB OASIS, I will repeat it again.

in the shower cabin of the room - mold; poor food selection; untidy beach area; outdated; when getting out of the sea, through the waves, the staircase structure cuts your feet; max 3 stars
