Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island

Great stay at the Hilton yas island . Check in was good our flight had been delayed 9 hours so we were late at night and never really took in what the girl was saying so never knew about free theme park tickets till last day . Room was good nice diamond member upgrade To a king executive facing the road nice view of the yas marina circuit . Breakfast at this hotel is up there with some of the best we’ve seen and we are well travelled couple fresh everything and great service and smiles from the breakfast team every day . The executive lounge was also good really friendly staff and great offerings for happy hour etc .the only downside is the pool area it’s hard to get loungers in the sun as the palm trees block it out and people are up way to early to reserve them but you can use the beach club over the walkway which has an amazing pool and unlimited sun . All in all this was a great stay at a great Hilton property hopefully when we return we will use the theme parks

It is our second time here. We've got room with the sea view and it was awesome especially in the sunrise. Location of this hotel is ideal. You can go and walk through the boulevard with many restaurants,cafes etc. There are also water taxi there. The breakfast in hotel was delicious, but you have to come early. if you come after 10 be ready that there will be too many people espexially children of all ages, so you even can not move between the dishes 😊 It is very nice that we can get free tickets and transfer to parks. Thanks for that! Regarding cleaning, I cannot say that it was good. We spent here 4 nights, and As I see nobody vacuumed or washed the floors in our room. And also carpets in the hall between the rooms were dirty.. I think that for this level hotel it is not acceptable.

We have had a wonderful stay at Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island and what truly made it special was the incredible staff, especially at the Capila Pool Bar and Grill. The team there went above and beyond every single day. In particular, Ujjwal was honestly one of the kindest and most attentive staff members we have ever met in any hotel. Nothing was ever too much trouble, he was always smiling, welcoming and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy and comfortable. Waruna was also fantastic and always made sure our drinks were ready for us, remembering what we liked and checking in regularly to see if we needed anything. That level of attention really makes a difference and makes you feel so well looked after. There was also a member of staff who looked after us by the pool every day whose name we unfortunately did not get, but he could not do enough for us. His kindness, attentiveness and constant effort to make sure we were comfortable really stood out. The service at Capila completely elevated our stay and all of the staff mentioned are a real credit to this hotel. Thank you for making our holiday so relaxing and memorable. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yas Island.

Great location for family attractions, the hotel offers passes to all the big attractions on Yas island, this is a real benefit for families. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious however didn’t offer a balcony this was a little odd and disappointing. We change rooms after a few days as the noise from the Irish bar was so loud, the next room offered a city view and balcony. Again clean and comfortable room. The restaurant was great. All the chefs were helpful and keen to please individuals. However it was disappointing to only have just the one buffet restaurant with no other options for half board. It would have been nice to have a better variety of restaurants included in the package and on the site. The hotel is not beach front. Beach has to be accessed separately. Kids club was great, kids loved the pools and very family friendly atmosphere.

The staff were conveniently forgetful for services that they provide daily.Our happy hour drinks were not charged at the correct price until we enquired about the double pricing which we were informed was a mistake and even asking for a written note to evidence the refund due to us was an argument with the bar manager,had Mimosas for breakfast on 2 consecutive days at breakfast and the prices were not the same,my room was not cleaned at 17hOO for 2 consecutive days only for me to be informed that the staff have until 18hOO for housekeeping duties however I was initially accused by having a do not disturb sign on my door which was not the case and confirmed by the cleaning staff,the egg making station on 2 consecutive days simply ignored my orders until I had to follow up. I was told I had not made the order for eggs but it arrived 45 mins later as I’m leaving the breakfast area yet the following day when the same incident occurred the staff conveniently remembered that the order was not made the day before as well.I requested housekeeping for a vanity kit (cotton wool and ear buds)and I was told that need to ask for it if I want it my room yet this was not explained to me at check in.To top it off following my complaint of the consistent mistreatment on day 5 0f my stay to the hotel manager, I received a fruit bowl with chocolates which should have been part of my welcome package on day 1 as guests receive them on Day1.Being an African,I cannot but think that the treatment was because of the colour of my skin.Despite having paid the same price as all other guests,we were evidently not treated the same way and our intelligence undermined.I would not come back.The entire experience dampened our holiday cheer and was not good example to the little girl who was with us.
