The Hotel is excellent and very affordable so clean and stylish for me its like a **** Hotel on my opinion and most important to say a warm welcome and friendly professional manner to the staff.. I would like to give a appreciation to Ms. Lee from myanmar she is so professional and very helful..

My stay at Citymax Bur Dubai in January was an absolute disaster. What was advertised as "good value for money" turned out to be a dangerous, dirty, and unprofessional experience. Here is why you should STAY AWAY from this hotel: Extreme Lack of Hygiene: Upon arrival, we were shocked. There were someone else's pubic hairs on the toilet, long hair on the floors, and thick layers of dust everywhere. The smell in the room was unbearable. It felt unsafe to even put our luggage down. Serious Safety Risk: In the public hallway, there was an iron with exposed electrical wires. This is not just "poor service"—it is life-threatening. When you travel with children, this is your worst nightmare. We felt so unsafe that we blocked our room door with suitcases at night. Plumbing Issues: From the very first day, the shower flooded the bathroom, and the sink stayed full of stagnant water for the entire stay. The hotel’s "solution"? They sent an "engineer" with a manual plunger. In Dubai? In 2026? Unacceptable. Poor Management/Agency Response: We reached out for help, but it was ignored. The travel agency (Tez Tour) tried to dismiss our claims until we involved the National Consumer Rights Protection Service. Official Outcome: Back in Lithuania, the Consumer Rights Authority officially ruled in our favor, recognizing the services as substandard and ordering a refund. The hotel even tried to offer a "private settlement" (330 EUR) just to stop the official investigation, but I refused. Truth and safety are not for sale. Final Verdict: There are plenty of great hotels in Dubai. This is NOT one of them. Do not trust the polished photos online—the reality is filthy and dangerous. Advice to travelers: Take photos and videos of every defect immediately. If you face issues here, do not stop complaining until you are moved, otherwise, they will claim "you seemed happy."

Our stay was amazing at citymax and staff was very helpful and nice specially the front office lady Lee. She is so nice and helped us for early checkin without hesitation and excuses. She have a very positive vibe and polite way of talking.

Citymax Hotel in Bur Dubai is nice place to stay, and enables easy access to public transport for Dubaiwide sightseing. Parks, shopping centres, restaurants and other major attractions are nearby. Ms. Lee at the receiption was so kind, polite and served with care and smiling.
