Not the best location as taxis needed to get anywhere. Towels around pool need to be out by 7.00am no problem if you are a beach lover. All restaurants are buffet including themed ones, but they are more relaxed. Avoid 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm for lunch as manic. Always cleaning.

This hotel is absolutely amazing, the staff make me and my sister feel like family. Food is amazing, drinks menu ample and cleanliness fantastic. 2 things that let it down………. 1. Coral pool should be adults only 2. Entertainment is pretty poor

Just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel and cannot complain about this hotel. The staff can't do enough and are so polite and pleasant and really can't do enough for you. The food in the main restaurant has a variety of dishes and myself and my partner always found a nice meal to choose from. The meal we enjoyed the most was the spices restaurant which I would highly recommend. The pool areas are kept to a high standard and especially around the oasis pool where Ajay the life gaurd was amazing. The time he spent speaking with people and how he got to know you as a person was great, he always had a smile on his face and the children loved him splashing and spending time with them. The only problem with this hotel is the rudeness from some of the guests who have no manners and didnt like to stand in a que for anything, the staff didn't deserve to put upwith it. Would return to this hotel again as really enjoyed the stay.

Hello, We have stayed at your hotel four times now; our last visit was two years ago. We were extremely satisfied—truly very happy—which is why we returned. However, the first day of our stay was very disappointing. The hotel no longer feels international; unfortunately, it feels Russian. The selection of drinks at the bar was limited. This improved over the course of the week, though there were still occasional supply issues. Nevertheless, there was enough to choose from, so we always found something we liked. The services—catering, housekeeping, the beach, and the bartenders—were flawless and luxurious. The staff were always smiling and very pleasant. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We booked with TUI, but flight was with Emirates. Check-in was smooth and quick, and we were able to complete the online check-in before arriving, which made the process even easier. Breakfast was always very busy, but we never had any trouble finding a table. There was a good selection of food available. Lunch was definitely our favourite meal of the day, with the best variety of food, especially when travelling with picky and fussy eaters. The dinner selection was also good, although we personally preferred the choices available at lunchtime. We didn’t eat at the à la carte restaurants as we were travelling with fussy children. There was a snack bar to get snacks during the day but we were never hungry so never went to the snack bar so can’t comment on the snack bar. A special shout-out to Yoon and Laven, the waitresses in the restaurant. They were absolutely brilliant, always polite, friendly and welcoming, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The sports bar was always very busy and, at times, felt like it could have been bigger to accommodate all the guests. Around the pool, we never had any issues finding a sunbed. The pool itself was lovely and always kept clean. The lifeguards were very professional and were constantly keeping a close eye on the children, which was reassuring. Our room was a Junior Suite and was very spacious, which was great for our family. On a few occasions we needed to request room service and items for the mini bar through the app, but this was never a problem and the requests were dealt with without any issues. Our room was always cleaned and if we forgot to put the cleaning lanyard on the door this can be requested via the app. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily return to RIU Dubai. We visited the mall and the aquarium which was the best decision ever, we chose to do the penguin encounter experience and it did not disappoint.
