Agapi Beach Resort

Absolutely loved our holiday here. Perfect location on the beach and not far from the capital, in fact you could walk it if you wanted to!! hotel was very modern and clean. Our premium room with Seaview was lovely, plenty of room for the three of us, two adults and our 16-year-old son. The food was great, loved Taka Taka! . The al la carte restaurants in the evening were outstanding. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely return.

The location is amazing and incredibly peaceful, with perfectly utilized space, a tennis court, several restaurants and bars, and three pools, one of which is heated. You can beautifully hear the sound of the sea, and the resort is just a short drive from Heraklion Airport. The atmosphere completely engulfs you, time flows differently here. :) The rooms are beautiful, we stayed in a renovated Deluxe Room with a sea view. The prices reflect the luxury and the exceptional care you receive from the wonderful hotel staff. Ambient noise is minimal. You can’t hear anything from the neighboring rooms at all, though they are a bit less soundproofed from the hallway side. The door hinges are very heavy, so if you don't hold the door when coming in, it slams shut very loudly, which is mostly noticeable in the evening (a minor issue that barely affects the stay, you just have to get used to it). The service throughout the hotel, its restaurants, and bars is absolutely amazing. Everyone is smiling, kind, and always ready to help, truly wonderful care for their guests. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, absolutely spotless everywhere, and the room housekeeping is flawless, there is really nothing to complain about. The room amenities are great (speaking of the Deluxe Room), olive-infused shower gels, shampoo, and hand soap. Pool and beach towels can be exchanged directly on the beach during specific morning hours, and you get fresh ones right away. The room also features a coffee maker with regularly replenished capsules, two bottles of water daily, a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, a safe, bathrobes, slippers, glasses, and mugs. The poolside bar offers both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, shortly after opening, snacks such as sweet and savory pastries, pizza, and ice cream (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla, and banana), also become available. You can have the ice cream in a cone or a cup and top it with a variety of sauces. This was my second visit in two years; the place remains wonderful and offers amazing services. The hotel has its own mobile app that allows you to make restaurant reservations—such as at the Italian restaurant (which serves excellent food). The app also provides an overview of the full entertainment program (activities for the little ones, garden stretching, beach volleyball, soccer, boccia, and more). The resort features a gym and a wellness center (available for an extra fee, outside the all-inclusive package). A beautiful, well-maintained beach where you can always find a spot, when the waves are high, it’s exciting, and when they aren’t, the sea is beautifully calm and clear. There is so much to do there that I couldn't possibly list it all, there is always something going on and you’ll enjoy every moment of it. Plus, whenever you need anything, the absolutely perfect, professional staff will assist you with a smile everyone there is amazing. Simply wonderful! :))

Overall, the hotel is clean, beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty, although I expected more variety, especially more seafood options. The only downside was the lack of entertainment. There was almost no music around the resort, and very few activities, especially for children. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. However, if you prefer a lively atmosphere with more entertainment, this may not be the best choice
