Atlantica Akti Zeus

This is a very honest review for those who, like us, were struggling to find a good package deal with so many places to choose from. I know I shouldn’t compare hotels but I am basing this hotel against Stella Village as I’ve been there recently & actually paid a lot less money for it. Let’s start with the positives. The food was beautiful, I usually get very sick of buffet food and really look for hotels with an A La Carte to mix things up but this buffet always had something new to offer. It would be nice to get an A La Carte included in the price we paid though. Last year we went to Jupiter in Portugal, for much less money and we got two different restaurants outwith our buffet included in our stay & they were amazing. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were kept very clean and the cleaners were so efficient. I was never waiting for our room to be serviced, I’d return after breakfast and they would be finished. Probably the best room cleaning service we’ve had. One night my daughter was very sick and the cleaner couldn’t have been more helpful. 10/10. The hotel itself is lovely and quiet and doesn’t have that horrible sunbed wars feel to it. The buffet never felt too crowded and the splash park never had queues. I really liked this part about the hotel and the option to go to the beach. Lots of lovely sitting areas inside so if you hit bad weather like we did then you won’t be stuck for an area to sit inside. This was a downfall of Stella Village as we did hit bad weather but the bar was outside! The main negative… the drink! Oh my goodness it was AWFUL. The whole holiday we struggled to find alcohol that didn’t taste like paint stripper. I’m used to all inclusive wine not being the best, I can deal with that but the selection of cocktails tasted like medicine. I would go as far as saying they were disgusting. In Stella Village we had the most beautiful cocktails included in our stay. They came in gorgeous glasses by the pool bar and they were a real treat. No extra pay. If you want a speciality cocktail here you have to pay, I was tempted to pay because the drinks were awful. This was a big downfall as a part of the holiday I really enjoy is the drink. I ended up drinking rum and Coke which I never drink but it was the only thing going down… and just going down ok. Not enjoyable. Bar staff were friendly though! Not their fault they were working with a very poor and limited menu. Oh and the coffee is rotten too! I’ve never been so grateful to come home to a proper latte! Another thing I found strange was you aren’t allowed to take drink up to your room. I’ve not had that before. With having young children I thought that was a bit tricky as sometimes we’d chill in the room with a drink on the balcony and juice for them when we’ve been on holiday. Second negative is that we had to move rooms as our room smelt SO bad of smoke. We couldn’t understand it other than it was coming through the vents. My husband went back and forth to reception 3 times that night to say we didn’t want our children staying in it (we aren’t ones to complain but honestly this was so bad). They agreed they could smell it but didn’t do anything that night. The next day he went down twice again until we finally got to move rooms. They weren’t the most apologetic in this situation, we had to push to move rooms even though it was so obvious the smell. I’m now at home washing every piece of clothing even if we didn’t wear it because of the smell. Lastly, there’s not much around the hotel at all. Wasn’t nice for a pram walk but there’s a bus stop near by. On a whole I’d rate this hotel a 7/10… we seemed to get an expensive rate for it so that does take our own personal rating down to a 6 as I don’t feel we got what we paid for & I had high expectations. If you get a good price then I’d say a 7/10 is fair. Expect good food, peaceful relaxing environment, clean, not much around the area and awful all inclusive drinks.

amazing I'm just speachless you can not go hungry there is something for everyone the evroipy bar is great for late night bear drinkers the bed is confterbel with friendly staff ready to help at any time the donuts look radioactive but lovely amazing water park the only problem is their are not enough activities

Stayed at the Atlantica Akti Zeus as a family of 10, 6 adults 4 children, ages ranging from teenagers to 2.5 years old. This hotel catered for us all and we had an excellent holiday. The pools were great along with the attached water park, the rooms were clean and functional, the food was excellent too, along with the snack bar and waffle hut the children were in their element. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel for any age group we all had a lovely time.

We had best vacation . This hotel is accessible to go to the main town coz the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. Food is so delicious. It’s so clean everywhere. They have a lot of choices for foods. Gizel from spa is so nice gives a good massage and Sophia smile is amazing. The animations are fun.

We enjoyed so much in the big slide. Almost everyday we stay there. We had the best memory in this hotel. He likes the waffle area. He loves chocolate so much. The bar are near reception I like it there so clean and full of trees greenery. The beach also so clean. The reception are very kind. Gizyl from spa offer us the daddy and kid spa bonding and we like it. Our room is very neat and clean.
