Costas Chrysolua

Great location — very close to the sea and the main street with shops, cafés, and restaurants. The rooms were clean. We stayed in an apartment with two bedrooms connected by a door and two terraces — it was a perfect setup for us (2 adults and 2 kids). The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. I absolutely loved the poolside playlist — Chris Rea, Sting, Sade, and more. Great vibes! Sometimes it was hard to find a table for four during breakfast The pool is quite deep in one part — up to 2.7 meters. A great spot to relax — I’d definitely recommend „Costas & Chrysoula” if you’re staying in Plakias.

This June, me and my husband spent our holiday for the third time at this family run hotel. The atmosphere is great! We feel like home, and attend to come back again. These studios are centraly located, just steps to the main street, numerous tavernas and supermarkets as well as the see sidewalk, but very quite and calm. The whole place, Plakias is very relaxing and quite. Ideal for a real rest. The rooms are simple but very clean. Cleaning service is daily. The kichenette is equipped with a stove, fridge and sink. Every room has a balcony. The pool is really important part of the hotel due to severe wind who blows in Plakias, so the pool is secluded place. The pool is clean and you can always find free sunbeds and enjoy the sun and great music from the pool bar (music is not loud). The owners, Kostas and Chrysula are nice people, customer oriented and very friendly. The barmen Angelo is the protected mark of this place ! Very cool guy with a big smile for everyone. If you looking for luxury and fancy things, you won't find them here. But if you find a real calming rest this is place for you. I personally values places about energy they have, and this place has such an energy!

Its nice hotel in nice Plakias area. WiFi is low in hotel. We had an offer from TUI with breakfast and dinner - but only breakfast is in the hotel and dinner is on vocher in Gorgona restaurant but witout drinks you have to pay extra. And hotel has some addidrional building few minutes from main hotel building.

My wife and I got back from a week's holiday at this hotel yesterday. We really enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and friendly and every thing was very clean and tidy. The pool, which we never used, was very deep deep at one end - 2.7 m I think. There was nothing wrong with it, but the sea and beaches nearby were so nice, we went there instead. There were plenty of free sunbeds right by the pool, with no towels being put out to reserve any. We paid £20 extra for the room to have a kitchenette. The room was large, with a flat screen TV, a massive balcony and a powerful shower. The hotel seems to serve a number of apartments in the surrounding area owned by the same family. We were actually about 100m from the hotel in one such apartment, which was no problem for us. Breakfast, served by the pool fine, with plenty of fruit and Greek yoghurt, bread, cereal, pastries, eggs, and cake. There was also the German option of various cold meats. The coffee was very good, while the orange and apple juice drinks were average. real fruit juice would have been nice. The town centre, which is right on the sea and beach, was about 150m away. There was a really great promenade that runs nearly the whole length of the bay, as well as a pier, and more beaches just round the headland in the other direction. Eating out at night was vey reasonable, cheaper than the UK, and the food quality was good. There was lots to choose from. The Greek salads were brilliant, and every time I got chips, they were homemade and hand cut. A huge mixed grill was only 15 euros. The crystal clear sea was the best I have ever seen, and full of colourful sea life for snorkelling. Sun loungers on the beach were generally free if you bought a drink. We had a late lunch on the beach most days for a very reasonable price. A fresh home made pizza was 7 Euros and a litre of water about 1.5 Euros, all brought to your lounger. A large beer was 4 euros. The sea was very calm indeed, even when it was windy, making swimming very easy.

Great value for money, very friendly owners and staff. excellent cleaning in room frequent towel and bedding change, beds made daily, whatever they used either on fabric softener or cleaning solution smelled gorgeous. Breakfast as expected , loved the choice of fresh fruit. Always either a hard boiled, fried or scrambled egg . Bacon but no heated area so bacon often cold. Fresh bread/toast, Greek yoghurt, honey jams, chese, cooked ham etc. Unlimited coffee. Juice. Teas. Pool area clean. Always has a shady side. Less than 5 min walk to the beach if you turn right and go through the cut at end of carpark No late night noise, good sized beds and good pillows. Full height shower too. Didn't use cooking facilities in room. Only cups and glasses but had the basics. And was impressed they provided washing up liquid, cloth and tea towel, I needn't have taken my own, thank you. A relaxing stay in Plakias. Would return
