We had an amazing experience at Grecotel Creta Palace! The August Full Moon Party was absolutely fantastic — a magical atmosphere, beautiful setting, great music and a truly unforgettable evening. What made our stay even more special was the exceptional hospitality. The entire team was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, making us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. A wonderful hotel with an incredible team — we can’t wait to return!

My wife and I had a fantastic week in the Creta Palace Hotel. It is quite a luxurious hotel. We stayed in a Bungalow Suite with a pool which also gave us immediate access to the beach. We had breakfast each morning in the Labyrinth restaurant which had a large selection of food with the now standard omlette section along with an array of fruit etc, basically there was something for every one. I know it is a cliche but the staff were all absolutely amazing with no exception. They were all very pleasant and had a constant smile on their faces. Adonis our barman along with the older gentleman and lady behind the bar were brilliant and served up some special cocktails for us and also mixed us a lovely Kir Royal on a number of occasions. Special thanks goes to Demrtria who served us at our table and was a real pleasure to talk to and we would wish her the best of luck in her desire to become a nurse. We would also mention the great bar-b-cue that we attended and our visit to the Agreco Farm which was a greta experience although it is quite impossible to eat all of the food that they give you. All in all a fantastic break.

great time as a family of four at the hotel. We have 2 kids with a lot of food allergies. They where both looked after especially very well and never felt like they did not have what others where having. Customer service is excellent, plenty of offering for kids entertainment during the day and at night. We had the Luxury suite which was immaculate and kept very clean by the room service staff. This place is absolute value for money , if you are after a time to just relax, recharge, enjoy a brilliant atmosphere and good food then this is it. Highly recommended

We stayed at Grecotel Creta Palace during the last week of August and overall had a lovely holiday. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean and very well maintained, with gorgeous gardens. Even the public areas and toilets were spotless. We also loved seeing how well the hotel looks after its cats – such a heartwarming touch! In our opinion, this hotel is particularly well suited to families with children. There were a lot of families with small children during our stay. There are two main pool areas, including one that's supposed to be more adult-oriented, although families use this one too. Our frustration was the sunbed situation around swimming pools. They are nice – if you can get one. During the busy August period, finding a sunbed near the pool was almost impossible. You couldn't get one for love nor money unless you get up early and reserve it. So we mainly spent our time on the beach, plenty of sunbeds there. The beach mostly has a pebbly entrance followed by beautifully clean, clear and warm water. We even managed a peaceful nap to the sound of the waves! The highlight for us was apartment 917 – a gorgeous, spacious one-bedroom apartment with our own private pool and jacuzzi. Morning coffee on our little terrace while admiring the sea was just perfect and definitely one of our favourite memories. We stayed half-board and found the buffet plentiful, with fresh fruit, salads, meat and fish. Drinks aren't included, which was fine for us. We enjoyed the occasional evening drink. There are also à la carte restaurants around the hotel, but book early, especially in high season, as they fill up quickly. The hotel has an entertainment programme, but we felt it wasn't advertised particularly well. We often only discovered what was happening by accident. The resort is large, so take some time to explore when you arrive. We also visited Calypso Beach, Chania and Lake Kournas, all of which we'd definitely recommend if you have time. Overall, a beautiful, clean and well-kept hotel with lovely grounds, good food and a great beach, we do love our sea. Best suited, in our opinion, to families with younger children. The lack of poolside sunbeds and unclear entertainment information were the main negatives, but we absolutely loved our private-pool apartment.

Just sitting on the plane waiting to depart Heraklion airport after a fantastic week with my 15 year old daughter at Creta Palace. We had a brilliant time from the moment we arrived until the moment we left! Stunning hotel set in pristine grounds with a lovely private beach and great swimming pools. We chose to go to the beach every day as the sun beds at the main pool are quite close together and we prefer a bit of space! There were always free beds at the beach even at 10/11am so no need to get up early in a panicked rush! Lovely big thick sunbed mattresses and loads of beach towels available every day. You can help yourself to these and you can take as many as you want. Waiters bring drinks to the beach or the pool so no need to move from your sunbed if you don’t want to. All of the staff at the hotel were fantastic - really helpful and friendly at all times. I booked half board as this was the only option available apart from all inclusive with Jet2. I’d intended to eat out most nights as I usually prefer the variety and atmosphere in local restaurants - however we only actually ended up eating out once as the food in the hotel was so good! Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals in the buffet restaurant were too - the desserts were exceptional - the best of any hotel I’ve stayed at (and I’ve been to many!) Eating outside in a beautiful dining space with palm trees and lovely flowering trees made the experience even better. We stayed in the main hotel building overlooking the pool and sea. The room wasn’t that big, but was nicely decorated and had a great walk in shower (I had originally booked a garden room, but changed my booking after reading reviews that said their showers were over the bath with a shower curtain and this put me off). There is a lovely Skybar on the rooftop - not open every night but well worth a visit as lovely views and top notch service. If you are thinking of booking and doing your research don’t hesitate as it’s a stunning place with lovely staff!
