Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection

We had a wonderful stay at Domes of Elounda and would happily return. After an initial room mix‑up from booking through the Marriott app, the hotel quickly moved us to a better room with an amazing view. The breakfast and optional dinner buffets offered lots of variety and are great for families, and while the large property means relying on club cars and there can be a slight language barrier, staff members like Kelly and Emma from Guest Services, Andreas at Makris, and Gorgana truly made our stay memorable—even with less‑than‑ideal weather. This was my first solo holiday since losing my spouse recently. It was a big undertaking, however, I felt very safe at the resort even at night walking back to my suite. The resort has thought to everything, Food and Drink The were choices of different places to eat if you are full board, the portions at lunch are very generous. The buffet breakfast and evening meal covered every possible food choice, a shout out to the chefs and the behind the scenes staff who worked so hard and made sure everything was always replenished. The desserts were amazing. A special Thank you to Antonia at Tholos and Maria and The Sommelier at Vilebrequin La Plage Restaurant Rooms The rooms were cleaned everyday, mine was cleaned by Butterfly, who made sure I had everything I needed, there was also the turn down service at night, with cartons of water ( very welcome) and the little chocolates. Facilities A lovely adults only pool situated near the Grand dome and a dedicated children and family pool over the other side of the resort. The other side of the resort was a short distance but a little steep at times. There were always golf buggies ready to take anyone who found the walk difficult. The spa was beautiful and I had a massage from Artemis which was much needed. Two issues I had were dealt with immediately and a thank you to Maria at Concierge services for sorting them straight away.

Staff are more than Friendly! We came for our 1st vacation in family with our 7 months old son and it could not be better. A special thank you and thought to Eleni and her AMAZING team from the Kids club that took care of our baby. You are a true value of the property.

Came to DofE as a family of four in Easter 2026 and I’ve been so very impressed with our whole stay. The resort is beautiful, rooms spacious, beach is gorgeous and perfect for young kids but with an adults only section as well. Actually they do a really good job creating separate spaces for families and adult travellers without it feeling disconnected. The place has a great way of being busy but never crowded, due to being spread over a large hill with golf carts for shuttle traffic around. I really enjoyed the included fitness classes, the Pilates instructor was lovely. My daughter also had swim lessons which she loved and the teacher was great and she even gave adult swim technique lessons which was fun. Last big shout out is for the Kiepos Crèche and kids club. The manager Eleni and staff are so warm, genuinely caring and engaged and it made a huge difference to get 3hrs of peace a day knowing the 1 and 4 year olds were in great hands. They handled settling in so well, even for kids who were a bit emotional and created a really fun and calm space for the kids. I’m surprised to not see more parents using the crèche for under 4s! Also worth knowing the resort is a short drive from some nice towns so you can explore a bit as well! We rented a car and it gave us a lot more flexibility, even if you could fill the days at the resort I’m sure.
