Enorme Santanna Island

HONEST REVIEW: Myself and my partner stayed here for a week in a swim up pool with a sea view. Our room was so clean with a champagne bottle in fridge on arrival. including beach towels, Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge and bottle cooling fridge as well as your main toiletries - shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Air con in the room which was great but not really needed due to the time of year visiting. Swim up pool view was AMAZING, watching the sunset and plenty of sun during the day too the pool was cold but still nice and refreshing after being out in the sun all day. The “rain fall” shower wasn’t the best and barely worked but had another shower attachment that worked absolutely fine. All restaurants within the hotel was VERY clean with plenty of food & drink choices. Food was practically served all day with the likes of early/late breakfasts, lunch, tea and even a late night hot buffet until 4am which is great if your checking in late after a long day of travelling like ourselves. Food wasn’t always the hottest when served. Snack bar which served all kinds of food also which was absolutely brilliant. Main pool area was lovely, didn’t feel like the usual holiday where your fighting for sun loungers (that could be due to the time of year we have came) main pool was also just as cold as the swim up room pools. There were many areas in the hotel where you could sunbathe, have a drink and something to eat. The best place for us would have been the sunset bar (roof top bar) the most luxurious and more like an adults only area. The staff were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. A few inpeticular who were a credit to the hotel, demitris (so sorry if I’ve got or spelt the name incorrectly) who was in the main restaurant was so lovely, always up for a laugh and constantly smiling and working hard. Another young girl dark hair with glasses who I never caught the name of in the main entertainment bar, she was working every night of our stay always smiling even though she was run off her feet practically solo working the floor serving all the drinks, she is 100% a massive credit to the hotel. Kind and hard working young lady. She even joined in dancing and singing during the entertainment was lovely to see her having fun even though she was super busy. Entertainment was ok, would be the only thing to let the hotel down, especially when there isn’t much to do outside of the hotel unless you travel into Malia or other areas. it was on most night of our stay and varied of what was on. The area where the entertainment was most night is not very spacious if you wanted to get up and dance etc but you can definitely still have a good time, we absolutely loved the Rock band night! We did visit the spa during our stay, which was lovely and good to visit when the weather wasn’t too great, I would advise to go in and book a few days before your preferred day to visit. The only thing we have to say that isn’t so great about the spa was that it was expensive I’d say overpriced really. However we did still enjoy it and felt so relaxed after and the staff were incredibly nice too. I’d say more of an adults only hotel however there was children there during our stay, but it did not one bit bother us as we didn’t hear them at all. Just don’t feel like there was much to do for children. Over all, lovely, luxurious hotel with good vibes, good food and friendly staff. I’d recommend if your looking for a relaxing time away, couples and friends. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Visited this stunning hotel on a last minute holiday Clean modern food and staff amazing Thanks to Mary in the restaurant and her team for giving the best service Rooms very comfortable Today it was the last week of opening the quality was the same Sunbeds were very low and comfortable All in all loved it Downside is it can be over an hour transfer sissi village stunning

We booked this holiday through a travel agent on a special deal. We arrived at 3am in the morning, check in was super easy, you use your mobile phone and scan a QR code, inputting your details. We were then taken to our suite by buggy, very nice touch. We were located in the second building across the little road, this didn’t bother us at all. Things are spread out a bit but you soon find your way around. Our room/suite was gorgeous cannot fault it what so ever, fizz in the fridge, replenished water everyday and fantastic air con plus a fan. Huge bed, lovely sheets and pillows, mattress a little soft for our liking but slept like a log. Pools. We used the pool near our room which was located by the snack bar and Nutella pop up. Waitress service was excellent couldn’t fault it. The guys work hard and long shifts but this never showed, always courteous and polite with lots of smiles. We did go and look at the other pools but couldn’t get beds as we didn’t get up until 9am each day., but plenty around the pool we used. Food Food was excellent, so much choice, hot and delicious, snack bar was our favourite but the Buffett was fantastic and so much choice. Location Very quiet, we walked into Sisi a couple of times, very cute little fishing harbour with some restaurants. We had a few drinks whilst visiting and found our way around very easily. Beach. We walked to the beach and then found another 1 further over the rocks, there is a road which takes you there also. Lovely crystal clear water and sinners were very reasonable. Entertainment. Not much, this is what let the hotel down in our opinion. All in all a beautiful boutique resort, rooms fabulous, service fabulous, food and drinks couldn’t fault it. Would we stay again! Yes most definitely but for time to relax not our main holiday as we like something a bit more lively.

We had a lovely stay at Enorme Santanna Island - the hotel and our room were very clean and maintained throughout our visit. The staff were so kind, especially the waiting team Ali, Eva, Mathew, and Rhea, who worked incredibly hard, were attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. Ferrik, the barman, also was friendly. The food was very good with plenty of variety, and we liked that there was also a snack bar option if you wanted a change from the all inclusive lunch. There are à la carte restaurants available too, but they were quite hard to book - we had to call reception and wait for confirmation before being able to dine in one as the website showed no availability. The different pools are lovely and well kept however, in the evenings we found ourselves bored. There’s no entertainment and only one bar open next to reception, which made the atmosphere quiet at night. Overall, while it’s a nice hotel and we enjoyed our time, we don’t feel it quite lives up to a 5-star standard, especially for the price. A resort map would also be a great addition, as it was quite difficult to find everything at first.

Lovely hotel but room could be more practical Beautiful setting and the whole place was spotless. Staff were really friendly and welcoming too. The vibe at night was quiet, which suited us perfectly for a chilled holiday. The food was ok, but make sure you book the à la carte restaurants on your first night — otherwise, you’ll struggle to get a reservation later in the week. The downside was our room — the wardrobe was tiny and only really fit one person’s clothes, and there were no drawers at all for underwear or smaller bits, so we ended up living out of our suitcases. The bathroom also had nowhere to put toiletries, which was a bit annoying. We also had some concerns about the safety of the balcony. We were on the end of the row and the side panel was made of flimsy wood — it felt like someone could easily break through it and potentially fall, which didn’t feel very safe. On the plus side, the view from our room was absolutely amazing, looking straight out to the sea. Lovely hotel overall, but we probably wouldn’t stay again just because of the room layout and balcony concerns.
