We would like to thank you for the wonderful experience we had during our stay. Everything was truly lovely, and we enjoyed every moment. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming and always ready to help, listen and make sure we felt comfortable. We particularly appreciated your flexibility with the late check-out, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Having our own private pool made things so much easier and more enjoyable, especially with the children. We absolutely loved the beautiful views and all the little details thoughtfully arranged throughout the resort to create such a lovely atmosphere. The hanging daybeds, the in-water loungers, the restaurants, the delicious crêpes… everything was wonderful! We truly enjoyed the food and the overall experience. Our room was spotless, comfortable and perfectly suited for a family with children. We also really appreciated having a separate dressing room with plenty of space for all our clothes, which made our stay even more comfortable. Thank you once again for your kindness, your hospitality and all the thoughtful touches that made our holiday so special.

Absolutely worthy of 5 stars ! We have been to many 5 star hotels including Ikos and this is up there with the best. The staff couldnt do enough including the bar staff at the family pool kicking around a football with my son during a brief shower. The food was fabulous especially the Greek. The mains in the Italian need a little improvement but the starters were great. Somehow they found out it was my birthday a cake was bought to the restaurant where I was eating, none of my relatives had mentioned it to them. We had a 2 bed apartment and it was very spacious. Some evenings the Greek restaurant was not in outside but this meant this area was used as bar seating which was fabulous foe watching the sun go down. The mixologist worked super hard and always with a smile on their faces. We would absolutely return to this hotel and thoroughly recommend it.

This was an amazing week, and just what our family was hoping for. We loved how calm and relaxing everything felt, the entire atmosphere was so simple (in the best way) so that nothing ever felt crowded, loud, or overwhelming even though there were so many families and kids. Our room was incredible, and every morning the kids loved being able to walk right down to the beach and along the ocean to start our day. Housekeeping was incredible, the room was always immaculate and they went out of their way to make the kids feel special and cared for with fun towel arrangements and treats. The layout of the hotel was also perfect. It's nicely compact so the kids could feel very independent and explore without us worrying they would get lost. They could go to the creperie and gelataria on their own, and felt very grown up. The kids club was also very nice, and they enjoyed the activities each day and the incredibly kind staff there, and we parents liked being able to rest on the loungers by the activity pool while the kids could play and swim independently. Even though heated, the pools were still a bit chilly which is our one very minor complaint. The evening entertainment for the kids was also super fun and engaging. When it came to dining, the food was great, and it was nice having such a good and high quality selection. Our booking for Tavernaki was moved indoors due to weather, which was a shame since we missed out on the ambience. Agreco farm visit and dinner was a real highlight, that was delightful! We also enjoyed the wine tasting and afternoon tea, and it was excellent to have such a good selection of options to choose from. It was also nice to be able to do the additional excursions, we were able to visit town and see the National day parade and explore the fortezza, we got to visit Magarites village, and also Meladoni cave. And having the water sports on site was perfect. We did parasailing and it was our kids' favorite activity! We also loved the spa, and the kids especially felt so special being able to get massages and mani/pedis just for them. Overall it was a perfect week and we will definitely be returning.

I had the immense pleasure of staying at Grecotel Lux*Me White for one week in mid-October, sharing a double room with two single beds with my 14-year-old son. To say this was quite possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in would be an understatement. Amazing staff, a great location just 15 minutes from Rethymno, and a complimentary daily shuttle bus departing the hotel at 11 am and returning to pick you up at 3 pm. What more could you ask for? The hotel amenities are exceptional, from breakfast, lunch and dinner to drinks and snacks throughout the day. The staff are absolutely brilliant and spare no effort in making their guests’ stays truly memorable. I had several jaw-dropping moments during our stay, too many to list, but one that really stood out was seeing a full-sized honeycomb served at breakfast. That alone should give you a small idea of the exceptional service and experience this hotel offers. Honestly, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The highlight of the trip for me was the evening spent at the hotel’s own organic farm. Utter luxury.

Having been to an Ikos resort last year we were hoping to recreate the experience on Crete as we could not get a booking at Kissamos. The experience at LUXME White was very underwhelming and not at all what we had hoped for. At a cost of £3700 for 2 people (including flights) it felt very overpriced. It's a tired 50 year old property which needs a major overhaul and the whole thing feels off in many aspects. Please don't be fooled by the huge number of 5* reviews. If you have been to a real 5 star, you will be disappointed. Definitely not going back and would not recommend. Please read the reviews carefully and pay attention!
