Istron Bay

I went for an event where I met with friends old and new- this is my third year at this fabulous retreat. The cleanliness and comfort is first class- the hotel is full of wonderful areas to explore- the spa massage was great and the food , as always was plentiful and of good quality- this is one of my favourite hotels and holiday breaks

This trip was honestly a vacation in paradise. Breathtaking views, perfect weather, delicious food, and the kindest staff I have even encountered. They all when out of their way to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, shower had amazing water pressure. The location is unbelievable! The massive private beach and large resort environment means I have the opportunity to be alone in the water whenever I want or be around other visitors and socialize.

We stayed at the Istron Bay Hotel for a special weekend which proved to be one of the highlights of the year. That was partly due to the event organisers but also to the staff and facilities of the hotel. The staff were exceptional - very warm, friendly and efficient. The facilities were excellent - very comfortable and clean rooms with all you could need for a relaxing time. Excellent pool and leisure facilities and only a very short walk to a private, sandy beach. We will definitely return and would strongly recommend the Istron Bay to anyone considering a holiday in Crete.

It is my fourth year in a row that I have visited this hotel. It's just wonderful here and for the most part that's due to the hotel staff. They are courteous, always friendly, even if they work 12 hours at a time. They recognize you the next year and you can tell you genuine joy. The food both breakfast and dinner of the half board as well as lunch from the restaurant is always top. For me, the prices for drinks and food are in the "German normal" range. The hotel has a variety of great rooms, which are currently being modernized. The new rooms are modern and imaginatively designed. You're on vacation here and there's nothing, absolutely nothing, to complain about. I also had the pleasure of enjoying a massage from "Kostas". It was professional, and he also noticed a shoulder problem that only my physiotherapist was familiar with. He recommended that I go to the physio. So from this point on it is also very professional. I'll be there for the fifth time in 2026 and it won't be the last. I really have no negative criticism here. I really like everything there.
