Lyttos Mare

Having just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the Lyttos Mare in Crete, I felt I need to address the elephant in the corner of the room. The freezing cold swimming pools. Don’t matter if it was one of the many guest pools or room attached ones. They were so cold that no one (and I mean no one) used them. Have never been anywhere in the world with some many pools that were unused. Apart from that, the hotel is very clean, the food for an all inclusive is up there (definitely had worse). Sports facilities are extremely good, especially in tennis or paddle is your thing. A couple of Astro pitches for football lovers. Sort the freezing pools out and this staff friendly hotel would have got 5/5 from me

We recently visited Lyttos Mare with my family and had a truly unique experience! The resort is an incredibly beautiful place, but what makes it special is the nice and friendly staff who went above and beyond to offer help and everything we needed throughout our stay. The views there are amazing. We especially loved the gorgeous pool area, which is beautifully designed and perfect for relaxing. For anyone looking to stay active, the gym is fully organized and perfectly equipped for a great workout. A huge shoutout to the personal trainer, Nicko, for an excellent experience! I also had a wonderful, relaxing time at the spa. Martina was absolutely amazing—her massage was incredible, and I totally recommend her to anyone visiting. We had an amazing vacation and highly recommend this beautiful resort!

The beautiful room, breathtaking view, and delicious food made our stay truly special. Everything was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. We also had a wonderful spa experience. Matina was warm, attentive, friendly, and highly professional, making us feel relaxed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Her outstanding service made our visit memorable and deserves our heartfelt thanks. We thank the entire friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily return!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel with my family! Everything was perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the excellent service. The absolute highlight of my trip was the spa—I had a massage with Jessie, and she was incredible! It was hands down one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this hotel!
