Nana Royal Premium Resort & Spa

Just returned from the nana beach hotel and very disappointed Not quite sure how it has achieved such a high average waiting so would question if these reviews are actually authentic Food is v poor - they prefer to serve you at buffet saying it is for hygiene reasons and hardly give you anything. The selection of food is really poor. There is more fruit in your local supermarket in England. The rest is v greasy No sun loungers. Reported to staff who said to there earlier ?? Rooms tiny and need to remind house keeping to clean them and replenish drinks Worse of all are the pools v small and v dirty attached photo showing cloudy green water Really disappointed I think this place has put us off Crete for good !

Breakfast at Thalassa Restaurant was an excellent start to every day of our holiday. The selection was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options to suit every taste. From delicious local Greek specialties and fresh pastries to seasonal fruit, made-to-order eggs, and great coffee, everything was beautifully presented and constantly replenished. The beachfront location made breakfast even more special, with stunning sea views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff (especially Konstantine and Harris) were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile, making each morning feel relaxed and welcoming. A wonderful breakfast experience with excellent food, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. We looked forward to it every morning! And we also really enjoyed our dinner at Azzurro à la carte restaurant. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of authentic Italian flavours. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the pizza was delicious, and the dessert was a great way to finish the meal. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. A great place for a relaxed Italian dinner. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone staying at Nana Golden Beach.

We had a lovely family holiday with our 14 year old son. First and foremost would like to thank Orgito at the dolphin swim up bar who made the best mojito!! Always greeted with a smile - he worked so hard with such a calm manner even when clearly very busy and often alone. Not all guests are polite and yet he remained friendly and professional at all times. The hotel was very clean, the food in all the restaurants was very good, with highlights at Azzuro, Nami and Thalassa. The buffet was also very good with plenty of choice. The rose wine was also good! We spent most days by the main pool. We are early risers so always got sunbeds but can understand frustrations as often towels down with people nowhere to be seen for several hours which is a shame, but on several days same management dealing with this by getting more loungers out. Loved the beach and all in all had a fab time. If was to be super picky, I’d have loved to be able to get a decent coffee early morning before breakfast opened to watch the sunrise. The fridge in the room was warmer than the room and only had soft drinks and water. Crisps and snacks weren’t restocked at all. Pool drinks service is always a nice touch (but good that had to get of my butt to be honest!). Highly recommend and would go back - we don’t say that about many places. Thanks to all the staff and once again Orgito who was a star!
