Star Beach Village Water Park

Back from a fantastic week at Star Beach! Arrival / check in was smooth and easy. Reminder you need to pay city tax when going to Greece! Was helped to our room by a member of staff. We stayed in an Annex Room in Star Beach City which is across the road. Initially I was a bit put off by not being in the main part but it was nice to be able to remove ourselves from the craziness of the hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy. Safe included in the room at no extra cost. Our door handle of the bathroom fell off but called reception and someone from maintenance was there within 10 mins to fix. Rooms cleaned daily. We was on ground floor and felt slightly a miss to not have our terrace sectioned off but was on our own part and at the back so noone to necessarily walk past our room. Was just a personal preference. Oh and a few English channels on the tele which was a bonus. Food was incredible!! Always plenty or options, lots of it and replaced quickly! The main restaurant is very busy and so we aimed to get there for when it opened. Pool bars were also quick service and hardly ever waited. Lots of options for drinks included in the all inclusive, including some slushies, cocktails, beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks! And hot drinks and coffee options too! We did not book in to go to the Cretan restaurant nor Asian as my son is a bit fussy but I heard the Cretan restaurant is just a smaller version of the main restaurant and the Asian was great with lots of options too. The pancake and waffle snack bar during the day was an absolute hit! The whole complex is huge with plenty of pools and slides to use during the day. Note, the pools are not heated. Being right on the beach is perfect too, with water sports as options and reasonably priced. Theres also go karts and mini golf and then up the road just off the complex theres arcades. There are few arcades on site, but definitely think a space for arcades would be beneficial, especially for the evening or to help on a rainy day. There is also a spa on site and pricing was reasonable! I unfortunately did not get to try since it was just me and my 7 year old son. There is a child spa option but it isn't really his thing... Due to the sheer size and not really a main pool, we also missed the typical animation bade that we have experienced on other holidays where there'd be music and games during the day. There was an animation team menu with entertainment on during the day but spread across the complex. The evening entertainment was also mostly really enjoyable! There were some fantastic acts including African Acrobats, Disney Musical and Magicians. There could definitely use more seating where the entertainment is - often people were standing. My son is a football fanatic and was delighted there was a football court. It was open in the evening / at night but no lights. I asked whether they could be switched on but was told no due to complaints from local residency. My personal opinion would be then that the court should be locked at night if no lights provided to keep the kids safe and away from the space in the pitch black. Would also like to say the staff were all lovely - I did not encounter any rude members of staff and everyone was always super helpful, polite and friendly. Would I return to the hotel? 100000%. We had an amazing time.

Incredibly disappointing experience! Firstly, we were purposely put in the incorrect room for the first 3 days of our 7 day holiday as the hotel had allowed us to book a specific room despite that room not actually being available at the time of our stay (the room we we’re originally placed into seemed clean at first but at closer look there were stains on the bedsheets and marks on the walls) When we approached staff to discuss the rooming issue they seemed unable to understand us. We also experienced food poisoning after eating from one of the hotels snack bars which ruined the remainder of our holiday, food from the restaurants was repetitive and flies were seen hovering around and sitting on plates of food in the buffet!

Although we booked star beach and village our rooms were about a 8 minute walk away across a very busy and fast road, not great and yes sea view but it’s not on the beach as the photos showed as we were all put into another hotel which has obviously been taken over by star beach village.but it was not in the complex. I asked at reception if we all (4 rooms) could be moved into the actual hotel and she said we booked an annex. All of the hotel was in blocks aka annexes !!! The hotel rooms were nice but I wouldn’t book again due to this. That road is dangerous and it’s tedious having to walk 20 mins there and back from the slides to get something from your room.

Great Hotel. Entertainment was superb. Nazar and Andrei were the best. Great guys.

We stayed at this hotel as a family with our little daughter, and it was an absolutely AMAZING experience! ❤️🌴 The hotel is fantastic! Our room with a sea view was beautiful, spotless, and cozy, with breathtaking views. The food deserves a special mention — absolutely delicious, with a wonderful variety of dishes to suit every taste. The hotel grounds are stunning! The beautifully maintained gardens, gorgeous nature, and thoughtful design make every walk around the resort a real pleasure. 🌺🌊 But what made our holiday truly special was the ANIMATION TEAM! ❤️🔥 If you’re travelling with children, this hotel is a fantastic choice! The entertainment team spends time with the kids from morning until evening, constantly organizing fun activities, dancing, entertaining them, and filling every day with energy, laughter, and happiness! I would especially like to mention Nazar — he is simply AMAZING! 🔥 Our daughter absolutely adores him! He knows exactly how to get everyone excited, engage the children, and create such an incredible atmosphere that you can’t help but join in. His dancing together with the other team members is an absolute highlight! 😍💃 A HUGE THANK YOU to the entire animation team! ❤️ Every single one of you contributes something special to this wonderful atmosphere. You are all fantastic! It’s clear how much energy, passion, and love you put into your work. Thanks to you, the children are happy, and parents can truly relax and enjoy their holiday! We’re leaving with wonderful memories, countless happy moments, and a strong desire to come back again! 🥰 We absolutely recommend this hotel for a family holiday! Everything is wonderful — the sea, the grounds, the food, the rooms, and, above all, the amazing people who make every holiday unforgettable! ❤️🌴✨
