Star Beach Village Water Park

We (parents with 3 kids, age 9, 6 and 3) had a great autumn holiday during this last week of October. Great facilities, slow pace, great weather and lots of fun for the kids: playgrounds, pools, different waterslides, soccer field, kids activities, free ice cream and slushes (as well as a gokartplace nextdoor). As parents with picky kids, we really liked the lunch and dinner buffets, but we also visited the snack bars frequently. You could easily walk between your hotelroom, the different pools, the snack bars and the ocean. The pools where not heated, but hey, where from Sweden, so we’ll bathe anyway… 😊 The ocean temperature was maybe two degrees warmer with a sandy beach. This was the first flight and holiday abroad for my kids, and we would love to visit you again. I even had the time to read the book I’ve packed… 🤣 Thank you, hope to visit you again! Great holiday experience. Plenty to do with the new water slides now open. Entertainment team especially Jayden and Elli were very friendly and great fun to be around. Hotel is very clean, rooms and staff are very accommodating. Rooms are very comfortable, our family were all placed together next to the Dionysus bar. Can be quite noisy, but after one evening you get used to it and it all stops about 11 ish. Food was excellent, lots of choice with different themes every night. We particularly enjoyed the Asian restaurant. Only a short walk to the high street with lots and lots of shops etc. The only slight negative was the onsite car rental service. A lot more expensive than what you could get just down the road. Apart from that minor detail, we would all recommend it and would love to visit again.

Amazing half term holiday in October 2025. I highly recommend The Star Beach Village Hotel, we’ve had a super relaxing week. From the restaurants to the pool bars and the cleanliness of our rooms we couldn’t fault the hotel. We even celebrated a birthday which the hotel staff insisted on making a cake. It’s the little touches that make a BIG difference. The only thing that I’d mention to anyone visiting is if you find stairs hard, make sure that you make that clear when booking, as there are no lifts to the rooms. We will definitely be back, the hotel have literally thought of everything. Oh and the waterpark is an added bonus!

Great family holiday at Star beach- lovely rooms, food and swimming pools- especially the water slides. Rooms and pools very clean. Enjoyable entertainment. Big thank you to Miron on reception for being so patient and helpful by ensuring we had an accessible room!

THE HOTEL The huge Star beach hotel is basically on the beach. To the rear of the hotel you see the mountains and many Griffon Vultures soaring over head. There are hiking and bike trails too. The hotel has many themed areas most with water slides etc, There is a Go Kart track right at the side of the hotel. SHOPS: There is a Spar shop on site next to the reception entrance but it is ridiculously pricy. Across the road is a supermarket with much better prices. Near by there are other shops and copious car/bike rental set ups. Restaurants of every cuisine are extremely close in proximity, serving anything from home made traditional Creek deliciousness to kebabs to Mexican. The harbour is about 10 to 15 minute pleasant walk from Star beach hotel. The harbour restaurants look out over the sea and the sunsets are amazing. You could hail a taxi to the harbour for 10 euros (Bog standard price to most places to be honest). There is also a "Train" that tours the area and visits the old town, (Stunning and romantic. Ideal for that special romantic meal). You can go to the old town in a taxi (yep, you guessed it, 10 euros). ENTERTAINMENT: The kids and adults will love the team. Outside you have Jayden, Eli, Ida. They will having you doing darts, water polo, aqua fitness, table tennis and mini golf etc for adults and kids. The Kids club hosted by Ida and Tina, is a must too. (For 20 euros the kids can have their own designed T shirt with their name on to keep). There is also a yoga based stretch class every morning. The evening has Mini disco for the kids, this is followed by one game of bingo and then the evening show begins. These shows can be hilarious. You wont be bored!! The entertainment staff are truly fantastic. RESTAURANTS: The food in all the restaurants is amazing and fresh dishes are prepared for each meal (non of that, its been under the heat lamp all day scenario). There literally is something for everyone. They have food theme nights too. The meat counter has freshly cooked steaks, chicken, pork chops etc, A fish counter serving a variety of fresh fish and sea food. A pasta bar, A salad bar. Also a Kids food area with the counter low level for kids to serve themselves, Then the dessert area... Oh the Dessert area. This is calorie city but heck, your on holiday. There are cakes, pastries, jellies, fresh fruit and about 6 different flavoured ice creams, even banana flavour. During the day you can get snacks from any of the bar areas, Chips, burgers and pizzas. Salad pots too. BARS: The bar staff are brilliant, each and everyone of them are eager to help.. Nic is very knowledgeable regarding drinks and cocktails, His English is great too. Ask him if he's tried TOKI whiskey yet... The wonderful Amira too. She is always happy and very friendly.
