Star Beach Village Water Park

My experience with andrei and Nazar was remarkable. Just with in 2-3 days we became ready good friends and they turned my vacation to something even more unforgettable then it already was. They are both have rly good energy and they are fun to be around and once you'll be around them you'll understand that too. They are rly good with kids and the most important thing, they are having fun while doing it all. Andrei has a lottt of energy and is a rly good magician and you'll probably be amazed by his tricks and his a rly fun and funny guy. And Nazar kinda reminds me of my best friend his funny his energized (and a rly good volleyball player) every time I'm with him I'm laughing and he's just a rly good and fun person. They are a rly good team together as well and I think they are making the hotel even better and the hotel needs to be happy to have them(in my honest opinion) and for Andrei and nazar thank you two for making my vacation better.

Went as a family of 7 with 4 adults in 40s and 3 teens and travelled out on September 23rd 2026. We arrived around tea time after over an hour coach ride that went via heraklion and along the coastal hotels (frustrating) however not the hotels fault but jet2. We arrived at the hotel and checked in smoothly and was given 3 rooms in the Thalia building which is a great location on the site and bigger rooms than the building my sister stayed in. Our rooms overlooked the small road between the complex and waterpark and had a sea view. The noise was minimal. We took the day to get accustomed to the hotel and I was definitely impressed with the facilities. The waterpark is amazing and the many pools stretched around the complex made it feel quieter than it probably was. I never once had to look for sunbeds even though there was 7 of us. The food- so hear me out- I tried food at every eatery available and here's a list of the places and opinions- •Noodle bar- loved this place, fresh and plentiful! •Water park food- smash burgers are incredible, hot dogs and onion rings and fries all great! •waffle/pancake bar- so good! The pastries are great here too. •Dionyssis snack bar- Great Greek salads/ toasties are so good too! The main buffet restaurant- i found this the best place to eat out of all the a la cartes etc. The breakfast was great and lunches and especially evening meals were great. From steaks to seafood to delectable desserts- i was so impressed. The Chinese a la carte- I wasnt impressed however some of our party really enjoyed it. They did have passionfruit and other exotic fruits that I loved though. The cretan star- We booked the bbq night and it was great. They had steak, full joints of pork and crackling, spare ribs, burgers etc. I loved the food but other than meat it was a struggle to make a meal as there was no sides Again I preferred the main restaurant. Beaches- The beaches directly in front of the waterpark on the left is a lovely quiet cove suitable for little kids. The one on the far right of the resort is quite a bit rougher and i'd avoid with little kids. The coves in between are all beautiful. Sunbeds are FREE TO HOTEL guests, dont fall for the rubbish that you have to pay. Staff- There was a grey haired guy on the reception, a younger dark haired guy on reception, a British woman on dionyssis bar, an Albanian and an Asian guy on the lobby bar who were ALLLL great staff members but I found some of the others rude and even arrogant at times. Shops- DO NOT buy from the mini market on the waterpark. I paid €16 for 4 redbull which was €6 At the mini market next to reception. DRINKS- the beer on tap is great here but please heed my advice.... all cocktails are SO STRONG!!! BAD POINTS 👉 I found the hotel lacked entertainment on an evening and it was extremely frustrating and boring. There would be a show at the dionyssis bar which lasted an hour and that was all. There isnt enough seats to accommodate all guests wanting to stay and that was something other guests also found frustrating. The only other bar open was the lobby bar which had no entertainment. I think this hotel would be great if another bar was open near the beach with maybe a singer or pianist- just something to provide guests with something on an evening. I also had an issue as my teenager left something in the room. We checked out at 11am and approached reception at 1pm to tell them something had been left in the room and that our coach was leaving at 9pm. The receptionist claimed we couldn't get the item until tomorrow however they would deliver to my sisters room and they didn't. I find that quite dishonest and disappointing of the hotel and wonder where the item went? Other than the entertainment and missing item I would recommend this hotel especially to people travelling with children.
