Stella Palace Aqua Park Resort

An honest review Had really high hopes for this hotel as we paid a lot of money to come here for two weeks. Food: Very disappointing. We found dinner at the buffet restaurant to be very fish heavy, lacked choice and we struggled to eat most nights. Given their themed nights I was expecting a lot more choice and variety. Greek night- no gyros which was a massive disappointment for me. BBQ night- no chicken, ribs, kebabs. Again very fish heavy. The à la cartes very hard to get into, we managed to get into the Asian restaurant which I cannot fault, food there was exceptional, service was exceptional. Greek à la carte- very very disappointing. Again no gyros which is what Greece is most famous for. Huge let down. Food wasn’t great. Lunch time there was variety of options, whether this was the waterpark or snack bar located at the main pool. We didn’t eat at the main restaurant due to the disappointment at dinner. The only thing I would say is they need more snacks at lunch time like the waterpark has. The snacks located at the burger snack bar at lunch were not nice at all. Bars and service. At the newest bar, 900s I think. I found service hit and miss. Sometimes bar staff were very very rude typically during the day. Would talk in their own language and make you feel uncomfortable. You’d expect for the money you pay and the 5 star rating that you’d be waited on but that wasn’t the case here. Night service one particular waiter couldn’t do enough for us he was fantastic. Young chap. Also a very nice Korean chap that served us multiple times on the night again service was exceptional. I found the attitude of some of the male reception staff quite rude. My daughter had become ill requiring the on site doctor and it felt like asking him questions was too much as he didn’t want to help, but the doctor was ever so kind. Pool, beach and waterpark. Absolutely fantastic facilities! Was always had something to do! Waterpark was amazing really does make the hotel. Was disappointed in the beach. Not much to it. Very rocky. Rooms Room was lovely. We were lucky enough to have pool view. Rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. Overall I wouldn’t rate this a 5 star experience. I’ve stayed at 4 stars in Cyprus much better than this. Will not be returning.

The Entertainment Team at this hotel are absolutely fantastic! Yes, the programme may become a little repetitive during a two-week stay, but that is certainly not down to the team. The hard work, energy and effort they put into both the daytime and evening entertainment is incredible. They make a genuine effort to walk around the pools during the day, introduce themselves, chat with guests, and let everyone know about the daily activities and evening entertainment. They are genuinely some of the nicest people we have met! Their job is not an easy one. They work incredibly hard to encourage guests to get involved in the activities, and unfortunately, some guests can be quite rude or dismissive. Despite this, the team always remain friendly, enthusiastic and professional. For us, Denis, Mike, Andrea, Carla, Greta and Dr Zulu were the absolute standouts. They were always greeting people with a smile and a cheerful “Good morning” (“Kalimera!”), and were always happy to stop for a chat. Over the two weeks of our stay, our daughter became really attached to the team. Honestly, we have never come across an entertainment team quite like them! They were fantastic with all the guests, but the way they included our daughter was particularly special. They allowed her to help with activities, get involved with organising things, and even taught her some of the club dances. It really made her holiday — and ours — that much more memorable. We would genuinely follow this entertainment team to another resort, 100%! A huge thank you to Denis, Mike, Andrea, Carla, Greta and Dr Zulu for making an already fantastic holiday that little bit more special through all your hard work, friendliness and enthusiasm. You are a credit to Palmera & the Hotel, and we hope you all know just how much you are appreciated! ❤️

We are having a wonderful time in Stella Irini behind the bar and Agapi in Poseidon are very helpful with everyone and they are a credit in the hotel we will definitely like to come back!!!!

What an amazing place For me it’s a 10 out of 10 Starting with the room, we had a private pool and the room was lovely The food was great in every restaurant and you get to use the 5 separate restaurants which the veranda was for me the best The pool areas are really nice and there are plenty of sunbeds to choose from The bars are all over the resort and again really good, they could improve on the beer but the spirits are great and so are the cocktails If you have children the evening entertainment is really good As a leaning curve when you pick up a drinks menu, if it has a symbol next to it it’s included but the higher quality drinks you will pay for It’s my first time here with family and will return in a heartbeat It’s as good as any 5star all inclusive anywhere in the world Thank you to Stella Palace for a great holiday and wish you all the best for the future

Hi we have just returned from the Stella palace and I wanted to give a bit of a review, this hotel is amazing we have children 12,6,5 they had so much fun in the water park and the pool. The food is really lovely lots of choice we visited the Asian and Mexican restaurant and they were lovely we booked on arrival as I heard they book up quickly. Breakfast was really nice and again lots of choice. We Stayed in a standard room and had two rooms as there is 5 of us they were over looking the pool and the separate shower toilet is really useful. The rooms were lovely everything needed was there and water replenished daily. The balcony was nice and had a really good extendable dryer which is A god send for wet swimwear. Despite being poolside we were never awoken by noise it was reasonable on the noise level front. Tv channels on the room had nickelodeon which was great for the kids to watch why I was getting ready. Towels can be replenished daily and the swap hut is outside the splash park. The snack hut is good the food is good and there is a good variety,the ice cream desert bar is good marble cake Was lovely! The burger bar was really nice and a good selection of things to try. The inflatables in the shop are a bit expensive but to be expected however u can take ur own and use the air line outside the shop free of charge. The shop/supermarket on sight is good a bit pricey but not excessive there is a supermarket outside the hotel near the beach which may be cheaper but we didn’t go there. The beach is small but very clean there were people cleaning constantly sunbeds are free and there is a small Bar serving soft drinks and slushies they may serve beer but I didn’t have one so not sure. Cocktails and bar drink options are good no ques really cocktails around the splash park are low alcohol which made sense. Evening entertainment is ok pretty standard they work really hard and my kids enjoyed it there is family entertainment in the amphitheatre and a singer in one of the bars by the pool they also had a pool Part one day with a dj. Check in was the best check in I have experienced they came to us offered a welcome drink explained the app and where everything was really helpful and kind. All of the staff here from restaurant staff to reception staff are incredible they work really hard the hotel is immaculate and they are kind and helpful. The location is a hit remote there is a supermarket outside the complex and I could See A few small bars and restaurants further down we went to a sports bar about 5 min taxi ride away that was good and there were a few restaurants and tavernas there. The hotel Is so good other than the sports bar with 3 kids two of which are quite small we didn’t feel the need to go out . There is a little road train which we may do next time that takes u on a ride around of the local Area I believe but again we didn’t go on it as we We’re having too much fun at the splash park. The general atmosphere here was great you could be as relaxed or busy as you choose. We will Definitely come Back next year.
