One off the best holidays we as a family have been on from the moment we got there to the moment we left was fantastic friendly staff and the kids entertainment was one off the best getting the kids involved even had me dancing Deniukaz and his team was amazing will defo be going back food restaurants too water park to a nice room we will miss Stella palace resort 💙

Review: A True Highlight – Simply Fantastic! ​Rating: 5/5 stars ​We had a thoroughly wonderful stay and are absolutely thrilled. The overall package is just perfect for a relaxing holiday! ​What we especially loved: ​Dining & Service: The food was simply flawless. Everything from the variety to the quality was spot on. The drinks were also excellent, and the staff were professional, attentive, and very warm at all times. ​Room & Hygiene: Our room was in pristine condition. Huge compliments to the team for the cleanliness throughout the entire hotel – we have rarely experienced it so perfectly. ​Small suggestions for improvement: If we had to mention one minor thing: the chairs at the Kochili Pool Bar are unfortunately a bit uncomfortable, which makes lingering there a little less cozy. Also, we missed the soft-serve ice cream that used to be available – that would have been the icing on the cake. ​Local Recommendations nearby: If you want to do some shopping, we highly recommend these spots: ​Jirakis: A leather goods store with a great selection of high-quality products at very fair prices. ​Kristina’s Boutique: The perfect place to pick up some delicious local honey. ​Cretan Life: Definitely go there for some excellent Raki. ​Summary: A perfect hotel for both families and couples. Just back from a week at Stella Palace in mid April 2026. We had an amazing time with our four year old. We had previously stayed at the Stella Village October 2025 (also had a very good time) so we knew what to expect because they share facilities such as kids playground, entertainment and water park. The Stella Palace is a step up from the village with 4 the À la cart restaurants which we could have used four times over the week for free. The pool areas with bars are all very nice, clean and staff are very friendly. There are no heated outdoor pools that I know of at hotel so they were on the cold side for me but at this time of year it is cheaper to go in April, weather was still nice. We really enjoyed this hotel as they try to do different things over the week for example I enjoyed a cocktail making class and had a DJ with cocktails at pool bar another day. The night entertainment was a good mix for adults and kids such as fire show/ magic show and circus show. They even accommodate for the weather, ie open up the kids club for extended hours for the children to play as the rain was scheduled for an afternoon. The food at the hotel buffet is very good with lots of choice but the À la cart restaurants were the highlight for me, got a nice three course meal at Mexican/steak and Asian restaurants and enjoyed them all very much. You ca drink house wine as part of all inclusive or pay extra for different wine by glass or bottle, we got a paid €6 per glass which wasn’t too expensive. There isn’t very much around hotel as it’s in a quiet area of Crete but there is enough to do in hotel so we never felt bored. The Stella village is a stop point for the train tour that takes you around Hersonissos, which is very handy and worth doing to see some of the surrounding areas. For this reason I would visit hotel again which isn’t normal for myself but would probably visit more towards end of May for hotter weather to take advantage of water park.

First time at this hotel… not going to lie on arrival we did think oh lord have we arrived at a club 18-30!! Our impressions soon changed as we settled in … You really can make what you want from this resort , whether it be a lively fun filled trip or a chilled laid back one there’s something for everyone. The resort itself is busy and lively and we travelled at the start of the season ! I’m not sure I’d come back peak season as I do prefer a more chilled break . The room we had 803 was a swim up suite , not quite the suite standard we are used to and I do feel the standard doesn’t match the price tag but it was clean, comfy and had everything we needed . The restaurants are very good . Ignore the comments about the food , we found it to be great , very fresh, tasty and high quality. We particularly enjoyed breakfast and lunch al fresco at the Greek restaurant ! À la carte meal system is a little too restricted , I do feel that suite guests should get to enjoy the veranda restaurants in the evening like they do at breakfast . This would make the room prices feel a little more worth it! The staff are exceptional especially Agapa in the main buffet restaurant . She went above and beyond to enhance our dining experiences .. Thankyou x The pools are cold but that is expected … loungers clean & comfy no need to rush to reserve. We didn’t use the waterpark but this is out of the way of the main hotel in fact you wouldn’t even know it was there if you didn’t want to acknowledge it !
