Stella Village Seaside Resort

- food was great, loads of choice. - staff were superb. Waited hand and foot. - very clean place. -great entertainment.

We stayed at Stella village 18-26 September and really enjoyed our stay. My parents also came, when we checked in we had room 288 and they were in 104 by the à la carte restaurant, reception staff straight away advised they would move them closer to us the next day, we didn’t even ask and they had a new room 4 doors down from us, which I thought was great service - would likely email in advance to let them know we were travelling together in the future. We had a superior triple room for 2 adults, child (4) and baby (1 year). Whilst the room was lovely, it felt crowded with the baby’s cot but it was fine we literally just slept and showered there. Our room was overlooking the pool and opposite reception. It was also a stone throw away from the pool bar - it was loud at night, however we were usually out until around 10.30 and the kids were fine sleeping through the noise. It was the perfect position to be able to sit out on the terrace whilst kids slept inside and go back and forth the bar to get drinks and enjoy the show from your room, however if you have light sleepers could be a problem. Pools We mainly used the kids splash pool in the morning which was lovely it was really cold first off but you warmed up and weather was great for us 25-27 most days. In the afternoon we would venture up to the water park which my 4 year old absolutely loved. I didn’t think we would get much use, but there’s slides to cater for all ages we stayed at the far end near the ice cream bar as these slides suited him best and always found beds. He was too small to go on the bigger slides I think they were min 120cms. Food in the water park was fine quick service had a couple of options the mac and cheese was our favourite and the nuggets were proper breast meat, drinks were great and had option of slushes. Had a good selection of cakes at the ice cream bit too. The pool areas in the village were lovely however I did think they were quite small and the sunbeds are really comfy but they are so big you can’t fit many around the pools, I wouldn’t want to be here in peak season there’s no way there’s enough beds to cater for everyone. Stella palace guests could also use the kids splash pool which had big day beds around it which was lovely, but again they limit how many people can use the area. But saying that, We never had any issues getting a bed at any time of the day. Food We mainly ate our meals in the Mediterranean Buffett restaurant which was lovely. It didn’t have a massive choice but the food was always fresh and it was lovely. The desserts were lush, and actually tasted of something. We did use the Greek à la carte which was nice, but it only gave option of a mixed grill or fish for main meal no traditional Greek meals available which I thought was odd! Ice cream from the parlour between 10.30 and 6 everyday. Which was lovely they also had pancakes and waffles here you could help yourself too and decent toppings, Nutella, crushed biscuits, sprinkles etc We had a great week here, wish we had stayed longer and would love to go back, I think the waterpark will be hard to beat! Honestly what made the holiday for me were the drinks, the cocktails were amazing all freshly made no generic rubbish. A great holiday and will be back :)

We have just returned from our holiday third time we have stayed here. What can I say service is excellent. We have had room 292 three years in a row . We requested this and have been very lucky to have had request actioned. We are now classed as VIP . My husband is gluten intolerant and the restaurant staff are amazing at making sure he is well looked after. Food is very good the staff are a big part of the reason we return. Special thanks to the main buffet restaurant staff excellent service.Room has been refurbished very modern beds very comfortable with high quality bedding. Rooms very clean . There is now a kettle in the room new for this year. Around the pool there is now the facility of waiter service brilliant. We plan to go again same time next year.would recommend to anyone it’s a beautiful hotel and the experience is well worth it .regards Debbie

Just visited the stella village for two weeks to find a lovely very clean complex,all staff very friendly ^ sociable ^ caring .On one occasion we had a very bad rain storm.after going back up to our room to find the maid had left our balcony doors open to find we were flooded,but with the help of beach towels we survived. Food What can I say very,very hit n miss looked like everything was covered by jar sauces or very dry food, very repetitive n not always hot,thank God for a microwave!!! If you have children only option was pizza or pasta,chips !! We could reserve two visits ti the filmina restaurant first visit wasn't nice all meat very dry ,we got offered an invite to the cretan night which turned out better,our second booking was was as disastrous as the first.if the food was so much better I would certainly recommend..!!!!
