Ikos Oceania

We have just spent 10 days at this fabulous hotel. This hotel has thought of everything. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and the up keep of the grounds and buildings is impressive. Staff bent over backwards to provide outstanding service at all times. I was impressed by the genuine hospitality and professionalism of every staff member we met. Everyone looked like they were enjoying their jobs which translated into first class service. So many smiles and helpful advice. We took advantage of the complimentary car hire for the day and explored outside the hotel. The hotel staff were great at giving advice on where to go. My husband and I enjoyed the daily yoga sessions on the absolutely picturesque yoga deck , with a panoramic view of the sea. The yoga teacher was very knowledgable and we enjoyed her lessons - that she varied each day. Eleni at the foyer bar was incredible and was a shining example of the hospitality we received. She was always smiling and no query from us was hard to handle. She genuinely epitomises what first class hospitality means. Always full of energy and smiling - she always made our day. There are so many other staff to mention too who made our stay so special - Stefan at Provence, Costas on the beach, the two Egyptian beach buddies who gave us our towels, Marios at guest relations, George and his colleague (who always found us chairs in the evenings) in the foyer bar, Vasilis and friend in Flavours and so many more. It was a team effort and this shone through. Thanks to everyone ! We will be returning!

I had a fantastic week with my family. The beach and staff were amazing and very attentive. At the balcony Eleni always looked out for us in the evenings and we always had an enjoyable chat. Definitely will need to go again!!

Amazing place with amazing food. Attentive staff and nothing was too much trouble. Stand out staff were Eleni from the main bar, George and julio from the pool bar. I would definitely return without a second thought and I will return.

Incredible resort! We came here as a multigenerational family group (including 2 teenagers plus an 80+ year old). We had the best time. The location was lovely - great views of the ocean and lovely beach with water sports like paddle boarding in the sea. The all inclusive was fantastic. We were not “deluxe” but we were never treated like we weren’t a priority. The food was fantastic. The al-a-carte restaurants were fantastic. And the use of the Tesla to explore local towns was really fun. We also walked to the local town market which was worth the walk. I would highly recommend this place. The only way it could be slightly improved would be to have some evening entertainment. Also, the resort is on a hillside so there are some steep hills to navigate around between restaurants and the pool and the beach, which was too much for our 80 year old mother - however the hotel had golf buggies that took you between places. It was very, very expensive. However if you go slight off season I think it’s worth it.

As a family of myself daughter and 2 grandchildren we mostly had a really good holiday, i read on here a few months prior to us going that someone had previously been to the Ikos Aria before going to Oceania who said that although Oceania is lovely which it was, that going to the Aria first made the Oceania a little bit lacking, I know what they mean now, If we had gone to Oceania first it wouldnt have detracted from previous holiday. The location was fine a little walk into town, we had a night out at a restaurant which was beautiful, the setting of the hotel was built into the hills so very hard on old or infirm joints not recommended for people like myself, as i have a long standing medical problem which flared up while i was there, but the upside is there were buggies ordered from reception that could take you anywhere in the resort. Nice general atmosphere in an around the whole resort, relaxing. The rooms were nice and airy but we were supposedly on ground level, we had a balcony instead of a patio something must has mistranslated in our booking, so this was a big disappointment to myself as none available when we arrived, just had chairs and a table instead of sunbeds like we had at the Aria. All in all room service was excellent and housekeeping ladies worked hard. Noise level was at a minimum apart from a couple of nights as the apartment above us had occupants who had small children running around a lot, but in general mostly acceptable and only one extremely busy day by the deluxe pool no problems getting sunbeds anywhere at all. We had a day out at Waterworld as we had the use of an Electric mini cooper which was amazing to drive, kids enjoyed theirselves there immensely. In general the holiday was good, but i was not keen on the apartment block scenario, whereas the Aria was bungalows and everyone had a patio, felt a bit more overlooked, would i come back that i am not sure, but i would need to be in better health and be more specific about requests around room placement. The children loved the pool and the beach so either place for them was a good choice, we were part of the deluxe option and the neck and back massage which was included was very welcome
