SANI BEACH

We received a complimentary Volvo tour as a suite guest. Our guide was Vangelis who was courteous and very knowledgable. He clearly loves his beautiful country and it was an enjoyable 2 hours out of the resort to learn a little more about the local area. Vangelis was great with all of the family (including a 2 year old) and was so happy to help and also very patient. It was a lovely experience.

As I get older I find I don't really want a flashy car, a big fancy restaurant or an expensive hotel resort for a holiday. But Sani holds a special place in my heart and I think for my kids too. We first visited over 12 years ago when the kids were very small. It was an unforgettable experience - the reviews are right, the personal touch from the staff is incredible. We loved our first stay all those years ago and even booked the next year whilst we were still in the resort! I think we visited again some 3 times. Each time the same - wonderful food, beautiful sea, surroundings, frappes!, the staff. I've not really been anywhere like it and those memories are forever. Whilst I won't really visit places like this anymore Sani remains an exception. Cut to years later and this trip was poignant. My kids are adults, fleeing the nest soon and our family circumstances had changed a lot. We had an issue with our room (Some of the rooms are too dated for the price in 2026 but I understand will all be upgraded soon) but this was resolved immediately by Nicole who deserves a special mention for just being incredibly professional and amazing! It's not without a sense of sadness that I write this review. Not in a bad way but a holiday is often a snapshot and the trip this time with my children was a huge mix of emotions. We had an amazing time but it was fleeting. I felt like all those years rushed by and the time was too short. The resort remains as wonderful as ever. The beach is beautiful, the food had improved considerably since those years ago with some amazing dine around options. Greece is just so beautiful and Sani captures that. I don't know when I'll be back but it was a beautiful holiday and one I won't forget. The only thing I hadn't quite factored in since the kids were small all those years ago - cocktails at dinner!!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Sani Beach and overall came away with very positive impressions. The resort has a beautiful location and an elegant, exceptionally well-maintained territory. There are plenty of places to relax depending on what you feel like doing — two beaches, several swimming pools and different areas around the resort, so there is always a choice. One of the things we particularly enjoyed was the variety of restaurants. Having so many dining options makes a longer stay much more enjoyable. The service was another strong point. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive and always willing to help. We travelled with our three-year-old daughter, and we especially appreciated how much attention and warmth the staff showed her. It made us feel very welcome as a family. A particularly valuable part of our experience was the support from the Suite Collection team throughout our stay. Communication via WhatsApp was very convenient, responses were quick, and it was reassuring to know that there was always someone available to assist us. Our very special thanks go to Dimitris. His personal attention was truly exceptional — he responded almost immediately, was always willing to help and found solutions to every request we had, including some rather unusual ones. This kind of genuine care and personal involvement makes a real difference and was something we appreciated enormously. There were, however, a few things that did not quite meet our expectations. The rooms are noticeably older and smaller in reality than they appear in the photos. Given the positioning and price level of the resort, we expected a little more in this respect. Food and drinks throughout the resort are very expensive and, in our opinion, not always reasonably priced in relation to what you receive. The prices feel particularly high for alcoholic drinks, which seem significantly overpriced. We also found the dining system somewhat confusing, particularly when your stay includes more than breakfast. It takes time to understand how the set menus and à la carte options work in different restaurants and what exactly is included in your meal plan. Another surprise was how crowded the resort felt, even though we stayed towards the end of the season. For a hotel in this price category, we expected a little more sense of space and exclusivity. The number of guests was noticeable around the pools, on the beach and especially when trying to book restaurants, as reservations could be difficult to get. Overall, we had a lovely holiday.

I really cant wait to return to my Sani family at S Beach hotel. There simply is nowhere else quite like Sani Beach, nowhere else comes anywhere close to rivalling them, especially when it comes to customer service. The hotel itself, the amenities, the marina, the use of the golf buggies, the Garden Theatre, Wednesday night at Bousalas bar are all second to none, but, like many who have gone before me, its my Sani staff family who make my memories for me and the main reason I return each year. The facilities are beyond brilliant, but then you have to find an even better way to describe the dedicated, committed staff who always go above and beyond to make your stay as good as it gets. We met many staff members who we have had the pleasure of meeting previously and then we were blessed to meet some of the new staff who embraced us from the word "go". I always feel guilty when I list some of those who added positively to our experience as everyone connected to Sani Beach deserves recognition. Lets start with the Verandah restaurant where we were looked after by the wonderful team members Maria, Christina, Vasilius and Kostas, not forgetting the wonderful Dimitris who came up trumps every day looking after my friend who has medical dietary needs. He never failed to produce a meal that she could eat without reservation. Dimitris - you are our all time favourite Chef! Also want to mention both Thanasos and Esmeralda in the Vosporos restaurant because although we didnt eat in the restaurant they remembered us from last year and always greeted us with a smile and a welcome. Our visits to the pool - our all time pool buddy hero Ahmed. What an amazing guy, works his socks off from the minute he clocks on and never stops until he goes home. Nothing too much trouble for him and his focus is 100% on making sure you have everything you need whilst spending time around the pool. Thank you Ahmed for taking care of my sunbed needs!! Also need to mention George who keeps everything running smoothly around the pool and on the beach. Great manager and always finds time to stop and chat, breaking down the barriers you often find in this type of hotel elsewhere when managers distance themselves from the guests. Noticed great team work between Anna and Ahmed when they were both on same shift. Also Nicoletta who found time for a chat when she visited the pool area. The irrepressible Roman - what more can I say. The most wonderful sense of humour combined with his intense dietary knowledge that goes unbeaten. Thank you Roman for always finding time to chat and between us putting the world to rights! Would like to give a special thanks to all our room cleaning team who`s names we didn't always remember but always appreciated their attention to detail and who often get overlooked when writing a review. At this point I must mention the adorable Theodora who greeted us every morning with the biggest smile and somehow we always managed to understand one another. Theodora does an amazing job and without her the hotel wouldn't be fully functional! Well, here goes, left the best til last - Andreaa. What's that Tina Turner song "Simply The Best" written with you in mind! I have travelled quite a bit over the years but never ever have I come across anyone quite like you. The service you offer is top notch, but it goes well beyond that. You have a way of making everyone feel special, well cared for and enabling us guests to build memories that will last a lifetime. Please never leave Sani Andreaa because you are irreplaceable. Ive said it so many times but Sani management do the best job ever when they appoint new staff and then train them to be great Sani Beach ambassadors. Never change your training package. Tony Bennett once sang "I left my Heart in San Francisco" but for me I left my heart at Sani Beach. Until the next time...............................
