Sani Dunes

What a stunning and beautiful resort. It’s my 7th year visiting with my Dance Teacher, Sam Poyser, Own Your Joy who arranges our schedule for the week and our Dine Around restaurants for a different experience each evening. We have our breakfast overlooking the beach each day when nothing is too much trouble to order to each one’s specifications for eggs, milk and coffees by the staff. Our delicious lunches by the pools or on the beach are attended to by Kev and his colleagues to ensure a great experience. Nikos, well what can I say about Nikos, every day he ensures that our needs are met to ensure an extremely enjoyable experience. We are all very appreciative of Niko’s and his staff’s attentiveness and look forward to returning to Sani Dunes next year. Thank you 😊

My 7th visit in 10 years which must speak for itself. Venue, staff, facilities, food, drink and service all exceed expectations. Everything is kept extremely clean and tidy, staff are smiling and helpful, which in my experience means the Management are excellent and make their staff feel valued. Particular mention to staff we met on many occassions, Kev at the Beach, Eli at the pool bar, Vios a buggy driver and Vasillas a waitor. But many more whose names I didn't note. Also to Mr Nikos, the General Manager, who together with his senior management team make sure everything is working well for our stay. Thankyou all

This was my 8th time visiting Sani Dunes, and once again, it did not disappoint. We travel as a large group for a dance retreat, so we probably bring a few extra challenges with us, but every year the resort, facilities, food and, most importantly, the service are exceptional. There is something very special about Sani Dunes — it feels luxurious without losing that personal touch. The attention to detail from the team is what keeps bringing us back, and this year there were so many people who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A special mention has to go to Mr Nikos, the Dunes Manager, who always manages to add that extra sparkle to our stay. He genuinely makes sure we have everything we need and somehow always seems to be one step ahead. His care and attention really make a difference. Beach House deserves a huge mention too. We went there for breakfast every morning and, despite being a large group, our table was always ready for us. It made starting each day so easy and relaxed — and the food was fantastic as always. Then there’s Kev on the Dunes beach, who was absolutely amazing. He would always get 11 sunbeds together for us every day, remembered our room numbers from the very first day, and even remembered exactly how we liked our sunbeds positioned to face the sun! That level of personal service is exactly what makes Sani so special. Eli at the Dunes pool was another absolute sweetheart. She asked us to teach her our dance, and then actually joined in! It was such a lovely moment and one we’ll definitely remember. 💃 We also have to mention the wonderful team at Tree Tops Adventure. Thanks to an admin mix-up, we arrived at completely the wrong time, but rather than making an issue of it, the team were incredibly accommodating and just went with the flow. They were so friendly and had a real laugh with us when we explained what we were doing at Sani and, of course, that we were there for dancing! Their relaxed and welcoming attitude turned what could have been an awkward situation into another really fun part of our trip. I also had the most amazing treatment at D-Spa — a deep tissue and lymphatic drainage massage that was honestly incredible. Sadly, I’ve completely forgotten the young gentleman’s name who treated me, but he was fantastic and deserves a special mention. And finally, Vaios, one of the buggy drivers, was brilliant. He picked us up a few times and always took the time to chat, asking about what we were doing and genuinely taking an interest in our trip. He deserves a special mention for the evening of the White Night party, when he somehow managed to round up 11 women and get us all to dinner on time — no mean feat! 😂 Food-wise, we had so many great meals, but El Puerto and Cabana were definitely my favourites this time. After eight visits, you might think the novelty would wear off, but it honestly doesn’t. The resort itself is beautiful, the facilities are incredible, the food is consistently excellent, and the people are what really make the experience. Thank you to the whole Sani Dunes team for another fantastic stay. We’ll be back — hopefully for visit number 9! ❤️

I am sad to say this did not meet my expectations at all especially given the rave reviews. I felt pressured into giving a fantastic one but I want to be honest. Guests are asked to score high. The resort is absolutely full of babies. This was massive for us as we chose the Sani Dunes because we felt upon doing our research this was couples orientated. Even at the adult pool staff were actually helping some families put towels down on sunbeds It isn't a relaxing place, that said the life guard who became my hero did stop a few families and families who were trying their luck. I feel mean saying it but it is the truth it was noisy and constant crying and screaming wherever you went. On our first lunch experience we could not beleive the amount if babies and toddlers. We looked for a better tabke but quickly realised that we were surrounded. The dine around is complicated! We only got to our favourite restaurant once it was always fully booked throughout or stay. Not happy about that. Service is a really mixed bag and a lot of staff looked really unhappy especially at breakfast where it was hard at peak times to get served. At other times it was fantastic but this wasnt consistent. Some food came out nearly cold. I honestly feel we have had more choice at Lindos Blu and far superior service. The buggy service is really good and the white party was amazing. However even that was overun with buggies and older children dancing with their mums. We werent impressed with the lack of choice on the dine around. Most cocktails were 18 Euros and werent extraordinary. A bottle of wjne started af about 50 Euros and they know you're trapped! There were some staff who work incredibly hard and others not bothered. We went into the bar in the evening and a group of younger staff were gathered talking and we had to go and find someone to serve us. I loved the decor but not the service there. I would not return, it is not so remarkable in my opinion as to warrant this as there are better 5 star hotels.

The best trip of a lifetime!! It's a stunning special place that I've now visited twice - last year and this year - with my dance group 'own your joy.' I go with a group of dancers led by Sam Poyser who arranges our schedule for the week. We had breakfast overlooking the sea every day where nothing is any trouble - you can ask for anything you like including how to have your eggs / coffee with special milks, extra hot, oat milk matcha / the staff at every place are so friendly and accommodating. We dance overlooking the sea as basoulas and drink cocktails in the bar below the deck watching the sunset. The pool overlooks the beach and the beach is cleared every morning so the sand is perfect and the sun loungers are perfect with your own towel provided and table service. You can order delicious food and drinks by the sea and waiters come to you. The white party is a must! We are treated so very well by Nikos and all the team with special gifts every day. Special shout-out to: Kev at the beach, Eli who danced with us at the pool, Vasilias a waiter at breakfast and Vaios who we often got on a golf buggy with who was super chatty and funny. Thank you got another special year Dunes!
