Atlantica Belvedere Resort

I have had to really think how to do this hotel justice, and I still don’t know what to say without making the review a mile long! We got married here in July with 24 guests and most of these stayed in resort. This was not our first stay with Atlantica, nor our first visit to Kos and Kardamaina, but we are so glad we chose to come to Belvedere. We could not have wished for a better place to marry and celebrate with our loved ones. From day 1 right from checking in at reception, we felt like we were treated not just as guests but like friends, and it was clear just how much thought had gone into everything, from making sure there were enough tables and chairs pulled together for mealtimes, to room upgrades for our guests where possible and even going to incredible lengths to make sure we had a chocolate fountain for our wedding - my husband’s one true wish! We were treated to Room 501 and its magnificent pool for two weeks. It was a dream to wake up to one of our favourite views every morning. Our room was always spotless and the mini bar was well stocked. We know Helona Beach well and are always impressed with how clean it is kept. As per almost every review, the staff at Atlantica Belvedere deserve a whole commendation of their own. Special thanks go to Christina (Guest Relations Manager) and her assistant Lisa for everything they did to help us during our stay, and to prepare our decorations for wedding day. Also to Ioannis and Thomas, the pool bar staff, and the catering team and wait staff at Ammos Beach Bar and Thalassa à la carte, who were all so accommodating. To Helen in the Helona Restaurant for always looking after our party and for sharing her recommendations from the local cuisine. We especially looked forward to breakfast every morning and loved to say hello to the whole restaurant and catering team. Always a pleasure to see everyone and on top of this we shared a beautiful candlelit dinner on the beach and a stunning floating breakfast, which was a massive treat. We really recommend! To Julia and Yianni in the Aegeo spa for exquisite treatments - I’m not surprised that many people say they go back for a second treatment. I did, and it was a real highlight of the stay. And to Ida, Mateus and the rest of the animation team for offering fun and sports during the daytime. Evening entertainment and drinks service was also fantastic. We especially appreciated the added touch of popcorn and drinks while watching England play from the conference room! It is also worth mentioning how well the hotel looks after their partners and external suppliers while they are working on site, as we often saw examples of this throughout our stay. Many of our guests have said they will return in a heartbeat. We had little doubt our guests would love a stay with Atlantica but this went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you so, so much for an amazing stay. We have made fabulous memories in our favourite corner of the Aegean, and we are already so looking forward to coming back. x

Amazing place - everything about our holiday has been wonderful. Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff. Our room was fantastic. Food was delicious. I visited the Spa, first ever massage (with Artemis) it was such a relaxing experience, so I booked another! Second time was with Sophia - another relaxing massage. So sad to be leaving today, an amazing week to celebrate our 24th Wedding anniversary.

What a fantastic week! Couldn’t fault the hotel, staff, food, welcome or atmosphere. Really relaxing vibes, lovely pool area and beautiful sandy beach with clear sea. One of the staff in the restaurant, Helen, was brilliant! She remembered what we wanted to drink in the mornings and brought it straight over to us. Lisa, the guest relations manager was really helpful and friendly to us, making sure we were happy until the very last minute of our stay. We will definitely be back!

Just returned from an amazing, not long enough, week in this fantastic hotel! Best holiday for us so far, did not want to leave! I'm coeliac, so need gluten free food and nothing was too much trouble. I mentioned at reception on our arrival and Lisa arranged for me to meet the head chef, Nicos. This amazing man, cooked my meals separately, asking me everyday what I wanted! I strongly recommend anyone with allergies to come here as they take it very seriously & you will be very well taken care of! My husband also enjoyed all the fabulous food on offer everyday. We had a lovely room, 413, which had a fantastic infinity pool shared with the adjacent room, which most of the time we had to ourselves! We will certainly be returning!
