Lovely hotel on the beautiful island of Kos. Location couldn’t be any better, 10 minute walk into Kardamena where we enjoyed 2 evenings out, the road in sections is abit dodgy so we always came back before it got dark. Beach is right over the road, it’s a sand/shingle beach and the sea is so clear and lovely to swim in. We travelled as a family of 3, the hotel had so much going on for our 9 year old, activities around the pool morning to afternoon and then something to suit all at the amphitheater on an evening. The football academy was a definite hit, shout out to Jace and Frederick who were both great. It was also a great way for the kids to make friends which was lovely. We did the HV diner à la carte, my husband said it was one of the best steaks he’s ever had and the portions are massive. We also managed to go to the Italian buffet twice. The main buffet I really enjoyed for breakfast we only used it once for lunch as the snack bars and the gyros truck are fantastic. We did think the evening meals in the buffet were abit hit and miss for the nights we had in there. The drinks again I thought were abit hit and miss. A lot of the cocktails are in the pre made bottles so some are very sweet, the espresso martini was the only one I had that they actually made in a cocktail shaker and it was my favourite. Sparkling wine was nice and my husband enjoyed the beer, our son had no complaints with the various slushy drinks they had. Room was great nice and spacious, comfortable beds and lovely view from our balcony overlooking the pool and then out to sea. The hotel is spotlessly clean, they are constantly cleaning and you can tell the staff are on it with this. It would have been abit of a trek if you are at the top of the resort but the buggy drivers and great and were so quick when we called the couple of times we needed them.
